Well, hot damn. I wish every business was run this well with the same caliber of people. Wow.
I recently bought a fixer-upper of a home and been working with a number of contractors and sub contractors, electricians and plumbers, etc. Austin Area Plumbing is the first company I have been wow-ed by.
The admin, Amanda, is super friendly and even remembered me from the last time I called them two months ago. Scheduling was easy, and they do same day service.
I'm not sure I want to tell anyone about Pierre for fear that he'll be too busy to take my calls, but that man is all good things. He called 30 minutes ahead of the appointment to let me know he was on his way. Amanda had said he would be there between 9am and 11am. He was there at 9am on the dot. He's courteous and is really good at explaining/teaching, doesn't upcharge for anything, always looking to save me money, and really fun to chat with all around! Pierre is my plumber for life.
They just moved into larger offices and are expanding into all areas of home repair and remodeling. Their prices are super fair and it's a really well run operation. They have built their business on doing good work, and they are growing quickly because of it.

Huge props to these guys.
Justin & John came out on an early Sunday morning to check out a decent leak coming from near the water meter at the front of my property.
I had already had Austin Water out here and they said it was a leak on my side of the pipe.
Very quickly Justin determined the leak was on the city's side, called 311 and then proceeded to wait nearly two hours just for the city guy to show up.
When they finally arrived, Justin waited till it was clear to the city that it was their responsibility to fix it.
These are good guys! Highly recommend them!

Our Handyman referred us to these guys and I cant thank him enough.
I had called 6 different plumbers prior and gotten some outrageous quotes to put a PRV on the system to our new home, those quotes ranged from 7/800 to 2000 dollars.
The receptionist I was in contact with ( I believe her name was Amanda but I am really bad with remembering names if I dont see a face) was super pleasant, very helpful and returned calls within minutes of us leaving a message. I asked her a few questions - she admitted to not being sure of the answer and said she would get with one of their technicians and call me back shortly. Within 10 minutes she called back with all the info we needed and a general range price wise of what we were looking at ( I really admire that someone doesnt bs you when they dont have a clue what you are talking about- I loved that she called someone to find out the answer so we were getting the right info.) Their price range was well under any of the other plumbers we spoke with and on top of it they offered to come look at the system and give us a more personally adjusted estimate. Not one of the other plumbing companies we contacted out of the 6 offered a free estimate. I set up and appt for the estimate and a very nice gentleman named Justin came out.
He gave me an estimate for 461.95 - my jaw dropped after what we had been getting quotes for, I asked when we could schedule and expect the work to be completed- his reply I can be here tomorrow morning and have it all finished for you. YES PLEASE!
We had them come out the next morning for the work and upon digging up the appropriate spot in the line Justin found a busted valve, he informed us and called the City of Austin to have it fixed immediately. Justin and his guys waited for the City to come out( which took a few hours)and fix the necessary components then completed our work. The price for work done was exactly what we were quoted.
I like that they didnt just say oh well and leave to rebook us another day, they also let us know if the new pressure wasnt working out they could come and adjust it for us if we needed at no extra charge.
Now we know who to call for plumbing and I couldnt be more thankful to Justin and the crew

Dennis was recommended to me by a relative. Although he was delayed at another job, he still made the scheduled day and stopped by late on Friday and we agreed that he would reutrn on Saturday morning which he did. It only took a few mintues to trouble shoot the leaky tub and make the repair. I will defintiely use him again!

I had a faucet to replace in a bathroom in a 30 year old house and thought it would be a pretty simple job. Pierre with Austin Area Plumbing was met with a real challenge in changing out a faucet that was in place for 30 years. Almost anything that could go wrong did. He handled it beautifully and got the faucet replaced. He is extremely nice, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. I could not have been happier with his attitude and his professionalism. I love my new faucet. I highly recommend Pierre and Austin Area Plumbing and will definitely call them again.

Called them with a sewage backup. They came out same day, diagnosed problem, gave us a VERY fair price and had it fixed in no time. They had to dig a hole in my front yard, and you can barely see where it was--they did a super job! Then they explained what else needs to be fixed but there was NO PRESSURE from them to have more work done. My husband and I were at work, but they left the bill in our mailbox and we called them the next day to pay.I like the way these guys do business! Looks like our oak tree roots are growing into our line, so I'm sure we'll have them back out!

Excellent experience using Austin Area Plumbing. After another plumber spent an hour digging to no avail and could not locate the pipe that was leaking, I called AAP because they had line locator equipment. Although my line wasn't in an unusual location the first plumbers could not find it. Dennis did within a very short time with audio locator equipment. He then quoted me an exact price on the repair before starting work. Dennis was highly professional and came on time to access the problem before started working on it. Can't recommend highly enough!

Dennis did work in our home at short notice to repair 2 leaking faucets, repair a shower diverter (sp?) and fix a shower that simply quit working.
He was courteous and helpful on the phone and showed up at the appointed hour to give us a free estimate of the work. His estimate was fair, and what we would have expected to pay for the work we were getting done.
He took time to actually understand the problem before giving us an estimate, and so when he did the job, there were no surprises about what the real problem was and no new updated estimates.
He does clean work and is punctual. He also called us when he was on our way so we would know how soon to expect him.
In all - excellent work ethic, courteous and very friendly to talk to. Will definitely call him again for future plumbing needs.

Kudos to Dennis for running a solid, fair, honest, dependable plumbing business. I recently had granite countertops installed but those installers required me to have a plumber disconnect and later reinstall the sink plumbing. While my job was not particularly big or complex, Dennis approached it with the same attention and professionalism I'm sure he gives all customers. Pricing was fair (a surprise with plumbers) and the work was done when and as promised. He even gave me some free quick advice on another small water issue I was having.
I recommend Austin Area Plumbing to anyone in need of these services.

Dennis and his crew are amazing. We bought a fifties home that was largely original and haphazardly repaired when it came to plumbing. We had them gut the house and start from scratch. They did our 2.5 bathroom house from the city main all the way back in 8 days, including gas lines.
His crew was knowledgable and courteous. We had odd requests such as "socks only inside" as our wood floors were drying at the same time. They worked around other crews and obliged every request we made. I am PICKY when it comes to contractor work, and my ONLY complaint is a single spigot outside is a bit loose. On a project that big, to be my only complaint is incredible. They truly did an amazing job.
Price. That is always important. Dennis was more than fair. He quoted the best price of the six or so we called to look at the job and gave me a ballpark, but suggested we do hourly plus cost of materials as we would likely come out cheaper that way. In the end they ran into some hicuups and it went passed the ball parked figure, Dennis wouldn't take a penny over that price even though it wasn't a quote; we had agreed to hourly. He truly is an outstanding and honest guy.
They even loaned me a few tools to dig for a fence I was building at the same time and gave me some pointers. We are about to add some gas appliances and I cant wait to give him more business to come run the lines. I can't say enough good things about the plumbing work they did.
