I am a household manager in Austin and this company has provided great service for us. Garrett came and installed a new faucet. He is knowledgeable and experienced and helped steer us in the right direction when picking out a new faucet when the old one broke beyond repair. Also their prices were cheaper than competitors in town. We definitely will be using them again!

Had a problem with our bathroom where a sewer smell was coming through somewhere. It's never happened before so this was completely new. We called around to several plumbing services and Austin Area Plumbing was the best in pricing starting with sending someone out to do a free estimate vs charging you an initial fee just to come out.

Garrett was amazing and thorough in investigating what was going on. He narrowed it down to being a toilet issue that needed to be reset and resealed. We wanted to hold off to do the work as we had plan to do a bathroom remodel sometime soon. Garrett was so helpful in explaining the potential risks and was not at all pushy!

A couple of days later the sewer smell returned. We decided to not hold off any longer and immediately thought of Garrett. Called and he was able to get come by in a couple of business days. He did an amazing job and went above and beyond in fixing it. Also extended our work guarantee to 12 months. Also should mention pricewise they were also the best! Great quality work, communication and price!

I had a problem with a leaking toilet and with the hot water heater. Repairman Star arrived promptly and did great work. Fortunately, the problems proved to be minor and he took care of them quickly and efficiently. Star was very friendly, gave me an honest assessment of the problems, and is clearly very knowledgable. After he fixed the toilet, there was some water on the floor that he carefully cleaned up. Without rushing, he completed all the work in a short period of time. Highly recommended!

Julie and team do a great job with any plumbing need in town! They are honest to the point that she told me about a video online that allowed me to do the quick fix and save the expense of having a plumber out. I absolutely recommend Austin Area Plumbing. Their certified Journeyman Plumber Mycol F, aided by his apprentice Mikey L.J., replaced two toilets in our house. On scheduled day, Mycol discovered right away that I had purchased toilets which would require structural changes and far more expense. Mycol helped me identify which toilets that would fit, saved me money on the toilet cost and came back next day to install new replacement toilets. Another complication: Our tile floor was not level. Mycol with assistant Mikey seated the toilet on a level plane, using shims.

We are absolutely satisfied and would recommend Austin Area Plumbing without reservation. Austin Area Plumbing only advertises by word of mouth, so they are much more affordable than big chains or those companies that advertise. I would most definitely hire them again!
