I used this company twice before. We got served by Johnny and Tony - both super plumbers. Intelligent, efficient, and effective. Great job! We returned a third time for a new plumbing task. This has been a nightmare. After two of trying, we still don't have a quote on the job. Worse still, the company called us last week asking when we wanted them to start work! Insane. Finally, they send Johnny out to do the estimate. He does his usual great job is scoping what was needed and promised to get us the estimate by the following Monday. Next, we get a call from the company saying Johnny has suddenly left the company. Well, that just sounds wrong to us. Plus, they did not have our estimate. Without Johnny or Tony to do the work and with the crazy admin people running this company, I would not use them for anything.

I had an awesome experience with Austin Area Plumbing! During the process of selling our home, the inspection report showed that one of our water heaters was about to blow. My realtor recommended AAP and set up a service call. John came out on a Saturday to inspect the water heater. Sure enough, it was a goner. He came back out on Tuesday, with Tony to replace it completely. They had it done in about 45 minutes to an hour. They were super nice and knowledgeable! Dennis, the owner, gave us a great deal! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!

Spoke to Dennis twice AND left voice mail at the main number on a Friday afternoon regarding a leaking faucet. I emphasized that I was leaving town for a few days so the repair had to be done before I left. Dennis assured me it would be taken care of Monday. Of course they did not show, the main office never called with my separate voice mail so my wife was left soaking up water with towels in the morning and evening for a week. 10 days later no word from them so I will find someone who gives a damn, these people don't

I reached out to Austin Area Plumbing for a water repipe. While taking estimates, Curtis came out and walked through what needed to be done immediately (water repipe) and what I should plan for in the future (replacing a hot water heater). He walked through each part of the job and took time with all of my questions. When it came to pick a vendor, it was clear that with Curtis we would not only get a great deal financially but also have someone who clearly knew what they we're doing. The repipe was a sizeable job meant for two people, but when an incident came up for his assistant, Curtis kept at it and was able to complete the project without any significant delay. His dedication and craftsmanship are outstanding, and when it comes time to replace out hot water heater I know just who to call.

After called 3 differences company. No one available on sunday night. We called AAP no one picked up. But they called us back and we so happy that they sent John within 45 mins. John got everything fixed nice and clean. Our shower is working correctly now.

It might seem weird to be blown away by a plumber, but Eddie has been that awesome and helpful! My husband and I had a pipe freeze and break, and he worked us in for a next day appt despite their company being booked up for at least a week. He quickly fixed the issue, explaining what he was doing along the way so that I would understand (but without being at all mansplainy about it), and pointing out some other (non-plumbing) issues with the wall that we should take care of to prevent further damage. While he was over, I mentioned that we needed our water line hooked up to the refrigerator, and he worked that in, too! The prices for the work seemed very fair.
Eddie then went above and beyond- our house is from the '60s, and after he left I realized that although he had fixed the water line to the fridge correctly, the hot and cold were switched in our kitchen, so it was boiling water coming out of the refrigerator (and cold water to the dishwasher, which I had suspected earlier but forgotten to mention). Eddie came back the next day, swapped the lines for me, made sure everything was now working properly, and refused payment for his time and work. Last, he looked at our shower when I mentioned an issue with it, and gave me his professional advice even though we have already scheduled a different worker to come out (long story, but someone else is paying for that thing, otherwise I would definitely have Eddie fix it).
