Alex from Austex Sprinklers has earned a customer for life. I appreciate the way he works -- upfront, honest, and reliable. Some people were just born with awesome customer service skills, and Alex is one of them.

I came home one evening to a massive water leak in my front yard. (Long story short: It ended up being a broken double-check valve caused by a tree root.) I really appreciate that Alex takes the time to give me a call when he's on his way or if he's ever running late. He initially dropped by to give me an estimate and even got his hands dirty to accurately pinpoint the issue. (He was spot on with his assessment, btw. Also, his estimate was accurate as well. No surprises.)

The only thing that surprised me is that Alex charged me $0 for the estimate and partial dig. I was floored. Some companies charge $40+ just for a visit and estimate. As soon as he left, I told myself that Alex is my guy. Today, when he dropped by to replace my double-check valve, I almost felt like we were old friends. He could tell I was curious about the work, and he took the time to explain what he was doing.

The world needs more honest, hard-working guys like Alex. Austex Sprinklers comes with my highest recommendation. Alex is now my go-to guy for anything sprinkler, irrigation, or outdoor water leak related. (Thank you Yelpers for the recommendation!)

Yup - he really is the best! We recently were having some border landscaping put in and ran into a sprinkler issue. We called in a slight panic and Alex was in the neighborhood - he crammed us into his already busy schedule and of course did amazing work at an extremely fair price. When the masonry guys came back the next day, they were really impressed by Alex's work and the equipment choices he made for our needs. Of course he was on time, courteous and all around amazing again!

I recently purchased a home in Austin and began have to problems with my sprinkler system. I was advised by a landscaper that I may have a leak in the underground pipes. I called Alex and, rather than come out and charge me $100 for a service call, he felt that 99% of the time re-setting the control panel would solve the problem. He graciously spent 30 minutes with me on the phone and resolved my problem.

Not only will I now use Austex for my sprinkler service in the future, I have also referred him to a friend of mine that is having problems with flooding due to a faulty french drain system, and I am confident Alex will provide him the best service possible.

Alex exhibited professionalism that I don't often see in service companies today. He was on-time, on-budget, and very communicative during the process so that we knew exactly what was going on. I needed a Pressure Relief valve and a Double Check Valve replaced. He did the work, ran into some unexpected issues, but stayed true to his initial quote. You don't get much better service than this.

We had someone come out to fix a leak on our sprinkler sprinkler system from Austex but within a week we had the same problem cone up again. The owner came out himself, repaired the leak and gave us a credit for any future work and apologized for the issue. I was very impressed about how quickly they responded and how concerned he was that my problem was not fixed by a previous employee. He really cares about the customer and making sure you get quality service - I recommend this company highly!

After a backyard construction project my system needed a complete redesign and installation. Alex provided a detailed assessment, project plan and estimate. During the project we ran into a few unexpected glitches which Alex took care of. Alex is very thorough and always took the time to walkthru the job and answer questions. I had some issues with my sprinklers that I inherited when I bought a house. The previous owner was not friendly and wasn't interested in helping me sort out the issues. Thus, I reached out to several companies to get thier bids. While I was not able to connect with Alex to have him do the work (he was too busy as it's just him I think and if everyone gives you 5-stars, they all want you), we did spend several minutes on the phone. He went out to my site and assessed the "damage" and then went over everything on the phone. Due to his busy schedule, I had by then got the work completed so was able to fill in some of the gaps for him. In short, a fantastic customer experience and I can happily recommend him - if he's available. :)
