I wish I could give it less than 1 star. The customer service from the owner Kimberly is terrible. I recommend taking a look at the Better Business Bureau and seeing the reviews there too. You can see the business response they provide. I am shocked and saddened by the response that I received from the owner Kimberly Grossman. My parents, who have had a service contract for many years, had a problem. Ms. Grossman was not only rude, but without any shred of compassion for my elderly disabled parents who, with the help of a neighbor, had to find an alternative provider. Ms. Grossman's unprofessional and nasty response to my phone calls was horrendous. It seems that my parents were led to believe that the company would provide emergency service. The company did not tell them otherwise when they renewed. In any event, the complete lack of human decency is astonishing.

Wanted to share my experience with Atlas Mechanical who provide home service contacts on A/C, appliances, electrical and plumbing. I cancelled a contract with them with 2 1/2 months left on the contract, and fully expecting to get a prorated refund. Well, it appears that I owe them, $263.22 to be exact. They calculate this by applying 90% of the prorated refund, and adding $95 for each of 4 service calls ($380) made during the contract period, for which I had already paid 9 1/2 months of premiums. What would have been ethical is to prorate the service calls which would have been $79, not $380. If I had let the warranty run to its expiration date, I would have owed nothing, but, unethically, I was not advised of that. I tried to reinstate the warranty, but Atlas refused to comply. Their cancellation policy is unethical and a """"rip-off"""" to say the very least. Shame on me, I should have checked """"Yelp"""", as they have the worst reviews I have ever seen. By the way, if I don't pay the $263.23, they threaten going to collection.

Made an appointment years ago - paid someone to wait for the service call. Atlas claimed they showed up. According to my house sitter and community gate records Atlas was not thee for the serbvice call. They have been harassing me for yrs for their supposed $ 95 service call. Do note - I had a service agreement for at least six years for all brand new appliances. I paid an annual fee of close to $600 regliously. They are penny wise- dollar foolish. BEWARE!!!!!! - the appliance they repaired the one time they did come was not included in the contract and I had to pay for that service call. AVOID -they are rude an offer NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

BEWARE!!! Atlas Services sold us a home service contract and did not honor their contract. They came out to my home to repair an AC unit, they told me it needed to be replaced and tried to sell me a new unit for $3000. I called AC All Stars for a second opinion before allowing Atlas to replace the unit for $3k. AC All stars came out and for $250 replaced the capacitor , recharged the system & showed me the obvious loose fitting that was the problem then the old AC unit worked great ! I contacted the owner Kimberly and she was nasty to me and said they would not reimburse this repair bill. On another occasion, they came out to fix a leak on my kitchen sink. According to the contract this is a covered service. They told me the part that the strainer basket/drain had a small crack. They said the labor was covered but the part was not. They tried to sell me this part for $120. I checked the part price on Amazon and it was under $10 for the exact part they were selling me. I again and called to speak to management. They told me if I did not buy their part, the service call would not be covered for labor. I told them I would not buy their part and at that point and after canceling that service, they came back knocked at the door and offered to replace the part for $60. This is his company took just under $1000 from me for this service contract. When they figured out that I am educated on repair costs , they realize they could not screw me over, Kimberly the owner canceled my service contract. They refused to refund any of my money. I am currently suing them which is public record through Palm Beach County courts. They be served very shortly. If your considering doing business with this company you should Google atlas services complaints and read the long list that I will be bringing to court.

Horrible company. While visiting my father from across the state I found out his A/C wasn't working. He said he had a service contract with Atlas but when they came out they told him the coils needed to be cleaned and it would be $450 and not covered under the contract. I took the panel off to look inside and the unit was spotless. So I called Atlas and spoke to a man and told him what happened and if they could send a different tech. I had to go home and told them to call me when the tech came. New tech comes in the house doesn't even touch the unit other than looking at from the outside and says the same nonsense about the coils need to be cleaned. I called the office and spoke with a woman and I was very upset and said many of the seven words you can't say on tv and hung up. She actually called my phone back to yell at me to which I hung up. Another company came out today checked everything out and added some refrigerant and now the unit is working perfect again. Scamming seniors is the lowest you can go and that is what this company does. And to leave seniors in an apartment in the heat of Florida when some freon would fix the problem just because they are not falling for your scam, even though they already bought your service contract. This should be criminal.

Ok for small jobs but when my air conditioner went on the fritz their solution was to tell me that I needed a new unit which I could buy from them for $3300. When I called another company for a second opinion I found out that the problem was actually a $100 part. When I called to speak to them about this I was treated rudely by someone named Michele. Needless to say I will be cancelling my service contract which as far as I can tell is pretty worthless for anything more complicated than replacing a faucet. I can't get back the money I have already paid them but I hope that I am helping others by posting this experience online.
