I have been using Atlas Home Services for over 5 years in two different homes in Delray. I am unsure as to what has happened to this company but their customer service is absolutely disgusting. I have made two different appointment now one know one showed up and then today I had one scheduled between 1-4pm by Nick and I called to confirm at 1:30pm and the women in the office said once again I had no appointment. This women not only raised her voice at me but her tone and disrespect was absolutely disgusting. She hung up on me as well I asked multiple times to speak to a manager or the owner and she said no one was there and she was the only one. Then even stated to me what are you going to do about it!!!! When I all wanted was to speak to someone who was level headed. This is exactly disappointing as I have never run into an issue with this company this is why we have a contract with them. But to feel threatened and spoken to by this women in the office this company should be ashamed to have her working for them.

I learned the hard way. When Yelp has multiple low ratings for a company, it's for a reason. Twice the owner hung up on me-- when I was attempting to get an answer to the why they changed 2.5 times what was quoted for a service which I stupidly paid. Then when attempting to get a receipt for the completed service, the owner refused to send it, explaining the account is now closed. Why? Because it was in my late husband's name and service contracts don't extent to other family members or the surviving spouse. Incredibly unethically, the owner ends a valid contract and will not give a prorated refund for the 5 remaining months of the agreement. If there's a lawyer reading this, please explain how this is legal? There are many other honorable companies with good reviews to choose from. Note the many low ratings on Yelp. I gather I'm not the only one with a horrific experience.

It's a criminal enterprise in my opinion. They give you written quotes, then after they give you the quote they get there and triple the price. 0 integrity o honesty 0 ethics

My a/c unit stopped working. I called Atlas. The serviceman said my compressor and fan were finished and that he couldn't get it to work. He said my unit was old and out of warranty. I asked if there was any possible way he could get the unit to work? Was there any part that he could replace; anything at all to start this system up again and he said no, several times. He said once the compressor's gone nothing can be done. He said a new unit would cost me $4900. Then he tried to sell me on their finance program. I said I didn't want their financing and that I'd get a second opinion. Nick from Atlas called to follow up on that service call at the same time I was expecting another company to come and look at the unit. He said they're going to tell me the same thing and that they'd try and beat any quote I got for a new system. The other company looked at the unit and, without ever mentioning that Atlas looked at it previously, said there was nothing wrong with the compressor or the fan. The motor blew and I needed a run capacitor. He said the system was old but that he works on systems older than that. In about an hour he had it up and running fine again and for $750 which was a far cry from $4900. Nick from Atlas called back to see if I received other quotes. I told him that I had a company tell me the complete opposite of what his serviceman told me and then I requested my $125 service fee charge back because I was lied to. Atlas said my system was NOT fixable, my compressor was shot and the fan didn't work either. All lies. Nick then said services were rendered and that he did come out. I said lies were rendered and lies came out. He fabricated his assessment to try to get me to pay for a new system that I didn't need. Nick refused to refund my $125 service fee along with his refusal to give me his last name just confirms the deceptive business practices of this company and the blatant advantages they take of the very customers they claim to give these three things to according to their website: CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SAME DAY SERVICE UNMATCHED EXPERTISE Well, 1 out of 3 IS BAD! Very bad!! He did come out the same day but that was all they stuck to.

I normally do not post reviews but in this case, I felt obligated to let other potential customers know how terrible my experience was with Atlas Mechanical. They came out to diagnose my AC unit that was not cooling. Upon assessing, they told me I need a new unit and I agreed to have them do the installation. Within 6 months of the new unit installation, we had multiple leaking problems. Several times the unit leaked water which overflowed into the garage and through the kitchen walls. With each incident, Atlas Mechanical came out and their repairs would end up being a temporary fix. I eventually decided to call a different company to come out and diagnose the problem. The technician from the new company immediately pointed out that the drainpipes were not installed properly causing the unit to backup and leak and high voltage wires were left exposed. The technician informed us that the unit could not have passed an inspection based on how the wires were left exposed. I called Atlas to get a copy of the inspection only to find out that they never issued a permit for the job and therefore, there was no inspection done once the job was completed. Atlas repeatedly tried to pass the blame on to the other AC company that was knowledgeable enough to point out the faulty installation. Regardless of who you speak with at Atlas, everyone seems to have a don't care attitude. I will never work with this company in the future and could not give a positive recommendation.

Please do not sign with this company. If you check with Better Business, you will see many bad reviews. The technicians have been very good, but this last technician got me very angry. Not only did he tell me I needed a new AC, but also a water heater. Price $5200. My AC is fine, but my Water heater was old and I replaced it for $1200. This Technician said,my water heater was spraying water and my AC was making noise and needed freon. Wrong and wrong. He lied about both. When I called about the checkup of my AC, I was told to write an email. So I did. I was called a liar, and told to stop bothering them. I have at least 7 e-mails rejecting my complaints. I then canceled my contract for $499, paid in Oct, and was told, I would get nothing back. I have never been so abused by a company owner. This is one company, that should be out of business. Made an appointment years ago - paid someone to wait for the service call. Atlas claimed they showed up. According to my house sitter and community gate records Atlas was not thee for the serbvice call. They have been harassing me for yrs for their supposed $ 95 service call. Do note - I had a service agreement for at least six years for all brand new appliances. I paid an annual fee of close to $600 regliously. They are penny wise- dollar foolish. BEWARE!!!!!! - the appliance they repaired the one time they did come was not included in the contract and I had to pay for that service call. AVOID -they are rude an offer NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Beware. The service provided is very poor. Nothing is ever fix correctly. Don't think they are very knowledgeable in repairs as the problems always remain. The personnel staff, especially the receptionist/schedulers are very rude and very unprofessional. It's unbelievable how they are allowed to speak with customers. I actually referred this company to a customer of mine but they can be assured it will never happen again. I do not recommend this company for any services. They are incompetent and are not qualified to do the job!

Terrible service the customer service lady is very rude. I have never in my life come across someone like her. They have installed a faulty AC unit and refuse to fix it with an attitude! She is having an attitude for something they did wrong ......-unbelievable! She should get no star!

they are the worst, they are scam artists. i have a judgment against them and they continually change locataions. their work is not to code and they lie about getting permits. do not use them.
