Worst service experience ever! They called us at 9:01, we missed the call, but called them back at 9:02... literally less then one min. The charged us $150 for a missed phone call fee? When we called back and asked to speak to the supervisor, she was sarcastic and rude.

Good service people and fast tesponse. Good for as needed repairs. Misleading bait and switch ads. Seemingly attractive warranty. Paid extra for replacement coverage. When AC needed repair they refused saying I misled them as to age. Turned out not to be a bargain at all. Advertised prices bait and switch and for AC small print excludes necessary items which cost big $$. The sales people immediately work to switch you to a higher price AC unit. If you buy a warranty have your attorney explain terms to you. In contrast I had a more expensive warranty with a national service. They used contractors for service. Not as good as Atlas techs. However when the AC inside coils went bad they replaced some very pricey parts no charge. No weaseling no hassle. This company is not in the same league. They find perfectly legal ways to not pay. Different business model. Stay away from Atlas warranty purchase. Pay more fora better experience and peace of mind.

Wanted to share my experience with Atlas Mechanical who provide home service contacts on A/C, appliances, electrical and plumbing. I cancelled a contract with them with 2 1/2 months left on the contract, and fully expecting to get a prorated refund. Well, it appears that I owe them, $263.22 to be exact. They calculate this by applying 90% of the prorated refund, and adding $95 for each of 4 service calls ($380) made during the contract period, for which I had already paid 9 1/2 months of premiums. What would have been ethical is to prorate the service calls which would have been $79, not $380. If I had let the warranty run to its expiration date, I would have owed nothing, but, unethically, I was not advised of that. I tried to reinstate the warranty, but Atlas refused to comply. Their cancellation policy is unethical and a """"rip-off"""" to say the very least. Shame on me, I should have checked """"Yelp"""", as they have the worst reviews I have ever seen. By the way, if I don't pay the $263.23, they threaten going to collection.

We had 2 contracts they refused to honor. We called for service one day and were told your flagged for no service. We called, sent emails and letters but never got an answer as to why. We decided to check this company out on mypalmbeachclerk.com and browardclerk.org the public court records websites and this is just some of what we found. They changed their D.B.A. (doing business as name) / Fictitious name from atlas SERVICE""""S"""" to atlas MECHANICAL.Their legal registered name is still atlas SERVICE inc. It was just renewed with the state on 2/5/19. They were sued by their current landlord for being delinquent on their rent and a 3 day eviction notice was posted their door. Case # 50-2018-CC-014477-XXXX-SB xxxxx landlord V ATLAS SERVICE INC Line 6 on the complaint of tenant eviction states tenant (atlas SERVICE inc.) was to cure the delinquency within the 3 days and line 7 states the defendant (atlas SERVICE inc.) failed and / or refused to pay the plaintiff (landlord) within the 3 days. We still have a worthless check from their other commingled companies. (yes they have other names with the state at this address and a home address) Blue Air Mechanical Services LLC. was registered at the V.P's home but had the address of atlas SERVICE on it when it was at that time located 101 Commerce Road Boynton Beach FL. 33426 That's the same address the bank kicked them out from on a foreclosure lawsuit just over a year ago when they had another corporation registered with the state at that same Boynton Beach address called 101 Commerce Road LLC. Case # 50-2015-CA-013837-XXXX-MB xxxx bank V 101 COMMERCE ROAD LLC. Broward case # CACE14014526 xxxx furniture company vs. the V.P. of atlas service as defendant. She put a stop payment on a check written for $16,662.35 right after taking possession of new furniture in May of 2014 and finally the defendant V.P. of atlas service paid a settlement of $28,000.00 in January 2019. They asked her for her S.S. # under a court order and she gave a fake one. Its in the deposition that can be read on line. Here is libel slander lawsuit that went on 4 to 5 years. Case # 50-2015-CA-009058-XXXX-MB xxxxxxx person V ATLAS SERVICES Case # 502018SC006631XXXXSB xxxxx enterprises VS ATLAS SERVICE inc. A Shell gas station that got a worthless check for $1,500.00. atlas SERVICE didn't bother to show in court and lost so the judge tripled the damages to $4,500.00 + court costs + their legal fees total judgment against atlas SERVICE inc. $6,369.20. Did that judgement ever get paid? And in 2017 when the current V.P of atlas SERVICE was not on the corporate docs. that year her name appeared on multiple small claims cases representing herself as the V.P. of atlas service inc. Isn't that called perjury? Example Case # 50-2017-SC-008770-XXXX-SB xxxx person V ATLAS SERVICES INC. Case # 50-2016-SC-011870-XXXX-WB xxxx person V SALTA MECHANICAL SERVICE INC D.B.A. ATLAS SERVICES This case was lost for breach of contract, negligence, assault, coercion, deceptive & unfair trade practices, civil theft and fraud. (salta in salta mechanical is atlas backwards) The case states the plaintiff is well over 60. She was awarded $5,000.00 & 4.91% interest + costs of $350.00 total $5350.00 but she had to hire an attorney to collect. The Florida Department of Revenue issues warrant # 1000000024543 to atlas service in order to collect delinquent sales and use tax for 12,786.11. The Florida Department of Revenue issues warrant # 1000000102630 to atlas service in order to collect penalty on delinquent sales and use tax for $2,367.83. Case # 50-2017-SC-000627-XXXX-SB xxxx person V ATLAS SERVICES inc. xxxx person is awarded $567.48 + court costs total $792.48 but he never got paid and had to file a writ of garnishment. Did you ever pay that one? Broward Case # COSO17009701 xxxx person Plaintiff vs. Atlas Services a default was entered for $2,500.00 but again atlas SERVICE fails to pay so xxxx person files a writ of garnishment. Did you ever pay that one? Read these & all the atlas SERVICE inc. lawsuits & all the V.P of atlas Service personal lawsuits at mypalmbeachclerk.com and browardclerk.org. Go to sunbiz.org the Florida Department of Corporation website to check the name atlas SERVICE inc. and agent names and see the fictitious name atlas MECHANICAL is owned by atlas SERVICE inc. All these cases and the information was taken / copied and pasted right from the public court websites listed above and its only the tip of the iceberg.

Today my next door neighbor is getting a New AC with Atlas. I found out because I heard my outside water valve being used. I knew that's odd because my pool man was just here yesterday so why is my water being used today? The Atlas installer was using my house water! I live in a private home so this is trespassing & stealing! I called Atlas & they didn't even apologize. Do not trust these people.

Atlas Mechanical has serviced my system for three years now never once missed an appointment. This time I needed a new air conditioner and they worked with me to figure out the best one for my home and the best value for my dollar. I appreciate the work they do. Everything was completed on time on schedule and at the cost quoted.

Nasty incompetent people. Air conditioning issue. Service man came and said needed a new part. While he was there, he performed the scheduled maintenance as contracted for. Never went into the attic. Next day part was installed. Questioned the worker about the scheduled maintenance. He went into the attic and did what he called the proper service. He also put new part to make system work. Never checked. System did not work. Had to call back. He then flushed the lines and system worked. Did we really need the part? A few hours later, cleaning lady noticed a hose was left running which was used to flush the line. Incompetence at its worst. A couple of days later, system shut down again. Bad part. The owner said could not come out in a timely matter. After speaking with another employee, they agreed to come out. Never showed up. After speaking with the owner, she claimed no one from her office would agree to come out the same day. She lied. I am livid and will not recommend this company to anyone.

I have also found these people to be extremely dishonest and not honor the terms of their contract. They show up and find reasons to charge you for covered items. The other thing they do all the time is tell you the machine is too old...and they can't get parts. In both cases in my house this was an outright LIE. The repairmen get paid extra for lying to you and making you spend unjustified money...CROOKS. Watch for the response from them on this TRUE REVEIW...they'll make up some BS excuse that will be more lies... Don't go near them go to another company...several to choose from...ALL BETTER

The worse company. Do not use them, the only thing the owner does is take your money. They send people for service calls and IF they show up they don't actually fix anything. They write fraudulent quotes without even opening the AC unit!! Dont use them, they owner us the worst business woman.

With all the heat and humidity here it south Florida it's easy to get yourself worked into a bit of a tizzy when you come home to hot house! I called Atlas and they were here in no time. A nice Army Veteran named Donny was the tech sent to our home my wife swears he's gods gift to women but id say he's more of God's gift to air conditioning! He was knowledgeable and explained everything to us thoroughly and had our house cooling down again in a jiffy. I highly recommend you request him for your next air conditioning emergency!!!
