Called for a laundry basin installation and was told they could have it all done Friday morning. On Friday, I got a call informing me that they could only do an inspection and estimate that day, but they would make an appointment for 9am the following Wednesday (today). The plumber didn't show up and I called the office at 9:30, only to be told there was no appointment.

These guys need to get their acts together and get a new secretary! I have too much to do to have my time wasted like that.

Edit 2- About 2 months after their mistake, they rectified it. I received multiple calls from the president of ASP apologizing and explaining how they would make it right. I received a refund, and a complimentary heating tune up. From my perspective, they fully corrected their mistake, and that's all you can ask for.

CHOOSE A DIFFERENT COMPANY! TLDR: They knocked out my heat in the middle of winter and charged me $200 to turn it back on. I hired a plumber to verify that the tankless boiler in our new construction house was converted properly to use propane. The plumber left without turning the gas back on, which caused the unit to get an error code and stop working. This knocked out our hot water and our heat. I didn't notice immediately that the heat was knocked out because it's radiant in-floor heat, which takes a very long time to cool down/heat up. I spent 30 minutes or so on the phone with the plumber to clear an error code (004) on the unit, which was caused by it trying to start with no gas supply (recall he left the gas off when he left the job!). Finally, after clearing the error code, we have residential hot water- little did I know that the code also had to be cleared on the radiant side of the unit, so my heat was still out. I became certain that my heat was not working about 36 hours after the plumber knocked it out. They sent a different person, an HVAC guy, out to see what the problem was and determine if it was their fault. Even though he had to clear the exact same error code (004) on the radiant side of the unit, he said it was not their fault, he cleaned an ignitor, and had to charge me $200. I paid him after a little bit of arguing because I realized I shouldn't waste his time with it. I called the office to explain the situation to them. The office lady insisted it was not their fault, she could not refund my money, but I would receive a call from the department manager. It has now been 3 weeks and I have not received a call. This whole fiasco was created by a plumber not verifying his work- he left without turning the gas back on! So he obviously could not have verified the system was working when he left. Making mistakes is fine- everyone makes mistakes. But to charge your customer $200 to fix your company's mistake? Despicable!

ASP came to Dallas Texas after our winter storm to help with plumbing issues caused by the storm. I scheduled an afternoon appointment, no one showed up or called. At 6 pm I called them not to come that evening because I had to go to work, I called them back in 2 days to reschedule my appointment. I scheduled for Saturday 2/27/21 at 4:30. Rory text message me AT 2:26 wanting to come at 3:00 pm. I did not see message until almost 5:30 pm. By that time I had spoken to Trevor who stated that Rory had told him it was a bad neighborhood and he was afraid to get out of their car. I informed Trevor nobody had been here. Trevor said he would ask another tech to come on Sunday or Monday or he himself would come. On Monday my calls went to voice message without a return call.
Monday around 10:20 I called Rory, again he repeated he did not feel safe. After talking to him I got a text message from him saying he could not talk because he had just had oral surgery.

Dallas Texas beware if you do not live in a rich white area of Dallas ASP will not do the plumbing work for you.

I am now a super fan of ASP. Smart, fast, and modern outfit. I specifically worked with Caleb across a range of projects. ASP was busy but were able to manage their team effectively to get to my projects in a way that felt well managed and considered my situation. The work was professional, detailed, and thoughtful. It was easy to understand options and costs, and they have online estimate approvals and payments that makes managing all of that easy. Great communication all the way through. I have worked with many contractors and will hire ASP every time I have a need for plumbing, HVAC, etc as it is a well run business that does excellent work, and the crew was full of very nice people that are fun to work with which is always a bonus.

So, after having them in to diagnosis the problem we were told that it was our pressure tank. After replacing the pressure tank the issue that we were having was still there. We then had to call a well company that knew within 10 minutes of being here what the problem was. Within 30 minutes had the issue resolved and was back out the door. To say the least it has been 2 months since this happened and I finally received the bill. After talking to the manager about the misdiagnosis they were not willing to do anything to help compensate the bill or pay for the price of the pressure tank that we replaced on their advice. I would not suggest this company to anyone.

I used ASP for a new house build. Numerous mistakes (toilet plumbing placed in the garage instead of the bathroom). Leaking toilet connection (of brand new toilet install) flooded the bathroom and ran under the wall into the adjacent room ruining all the new flooring. Water lines ran outside the studs. When management questioned they stated it was hard to find good help. WOW- really? $15,000 for plumbing and I had to pay another contractor to fix the mistakes.

My contractor brought in ASP Plumbing to rough plumb a new kitchen, laundry, and bathroom for a small addition to my home. It thought these guys were great. They came in and immediately started by reviewing the work scope with me. Then they got right to work, with no fooling around, and were completely done in just a day and a half. The plumbers were kind and respectful and did good clean work. These are the guys I'll be calling in the future when I need a plumber.

Terrible to work with. Used them for a simple service on furnace and water heater. After the work I have water left on my basement floor. Next morning more water. Did did come out again but want to replace my heater for $2000. Not willing to take any responsibility. I did visit them at the office and asked for a compromise, no help. I will look for some legal help today.

We had Summit Mechanical come to our home in the beginning of May to give us an estimate regarding the installation of a semi-split air conditioning system. The sales person said they would send us quote by the end of the week. On the Monday following, this was the email I received:

""Thank for having Summit out to look at you A/C project at this time Summit will not be providing an estimate.""

That's it. When I responded and stated that I had never heard of such a thing and asked why - no reply.

Their email was incredibly unprofessional. I will never do business with Summit Mechanical company and cannot and will not recommend them to our friends. We had Carlson Duluth instead. Two days, beautiful job, wonderful people, highly recommend Carlson Duluth.

I originally called another plumber who clearly didn't want the job. These guys showed up on time and got twice the amount done at the same price the original plumber quoted me. They worked quick and did the job right. Great work !
