Residential plumbing for new builds, rough-in, top-out, and finishing touches, underground gas line installation, digging for underground utilities, plumbing repairs and maintenance, plumbing remodels for homes and businesses, cleaning clogged sewer lines, plumbing in crawl spaces or attics, excavation work for home plumbing, plus any additional plumbing services for homes.

We launched our business in 2022. Following my time at a local plumbing company in Red Bluff for eight and a half years, I decided to go independent. Competing with my mentor was not my goal, but his rates were high at $185 an hour plus parts. After eight years, I was paid a mere $20. I gathered all the knowledge I could before I decided to run my own business. I chose the name Ask Ryan Plumbing since various friends in trades call me for help. We stand out because I personally take care of your plumbing needs and I keep my rates reasonable.

I’ve been a resident of Red Bluff for two decades. I went through middle and high school in this town. I didn’t have a clear dream during high school. Unsure of my path, I sought a trade to learn. I found employment with a local plumbing company called DW Plumbing. I initially dug ditches, cleaned up job sites, and assisted in demolition. I sometimes assisted different trades. I advanced to handling service calls and remodeling tasks. For two years, I learned under a knowledgeable mentor. Then I moved on to PGE jobs, earning a prevailing wage. I was often away from home for work. I witnessed my trainers leave the company without any retirement or benefits. This made me question my future. The moment arrived when I sought a raise, but he couldn’t accommodate me. So, I decided to give myself that raise. I can now pay for my own benefits and save for retirement. Interestingly, my late father was also a plumber. I should have seen it coming.
