Company Overview

New construction plumbing for residences, rough-in, top-out, and set-finish, gas line installation below ground, excavation for underground services, maintenance and repair of plumbing, residential and commercial plumbing renovations, cleaning clogged sewer lines, plumbing services for attics and crawl spaces, excavations for home services, and all other residential plumbing requirements.

We launched our business in 2022. Having worked for a Red Bluff plumbing company for eight and a half years, I chose to start my own venture. Competing with my mentor was not my goal, but he billed $185 an hour plus parts. After eight years, I was paid a mere $20. I gathered all the knowledge I could before I decided to run my own business. The name Ask Ryan Plumbing came about because my friends in different trades frequently seek my advice. Our uniqueness lies in the fact that the owner personally handles your plumbing needs and I won’t overcharge you.

I’ve been a resident of Red Bluff for two decades. I completed my middle and high school education here. I lacked a specific dream in high school. With uncertainty about my future, I decided to find a trade. I found employment with a local plumbing company called DW Plumbing. I started out digging ditches, tidying up job sites, and helping with demolition. I occasionally helped other trades. I advanced to handling service calls and remodeling tasks. I spent two years learning from a skilled mentor. After that, I transitioned to PGE jobs, making a good wage. I often worked out of town. I watched as my mentors departed the company without retirement or benefits. This caused me to reflect on my future. Eventually, I requested a raise, but he was unable to offer one. Thus, I decided to grant myself that raise. Now I can afford my own benefits and save for retirement. It’s worth noting that my late father was a plumber too. I should have seen it coming.
