Residential plumbing for new builds, rough-in, top-out, and set-finish, installation of underground gas lines, excavating underground services, maintenance and repair of plumbing, plumbing remodels for homes and businesses, sewer line cleaning, plumbing in crawl spaces or attics, excavation work for home plumbing, and all other residential plumbing requirements.

Our company started in 2022. Having worked for a Red Bluff plumbing company for eight and a half years, I opted to establish my own business. I never intended to compete with my mentor, yet his charges were $185 an hour plus materials. After eight years, my pay was only $20. I absorbed as much knowledge as I could before taking the leap to be my own boss. The name Ask Ryan Plumbing came about because friends in various trades often ask me for advice. Our uniqueness lies in the fact that I personally take care of your plumbing needs and I ensure fair pricing.

For twenty years, I’ve called Red Bluff home. I completed my middle and high school education here. I was uncertain about my future in high school. Unsure of my path, I sought a trade to learn. I started working at a local plumbing firm, DW Plumbing. I began by digging ditches, cleaning job sites, and assisting with demolition. I occasionally helped other trades. I advanced to handling service calls and remodeling tasks. I spent two years learning from a skilled mentor. After that, I transitioned to PGE jobs, making a good wage. I frequently traveled for work. I watched as my mentors departed the company without retirement or benefits. This made me question my future. The day came when I asked for a raise, but he couldn’t provide it. So, I took matters into my own hands and gave myself a raise. I’m able to cover my own benefits and set aside money for retirement. Interestingly, my late father was also a plumber. I should have seen it coming.
