Company Overview

Residential plumbing for new builds, rough-in, top-out, and finishing touches, installation of underground gas lines, excavating underground services, service and upkeep for plumbing, residential and commercial plumbing renovations, cleaning clogged sewer lines, plumbing in crawl spaces or attics, excavation work for home plumbing, plus any additional plumbing services for homes.

We began operations in 2022. Following my time at a local plumbing company in Red Bluff for eight and a half years, I decided to go independent. I never intended to compete with my mentor, but he billed $185 an hour plus parts. After eight years, I was paid a mere $20. I learned everything I could before I decided to run my own business. The name Ask Ryan Plumbing came about because friends in various trades often ask me for advice. What sets us apart is that I will be the one to address your plumbing needs and I won’t overcharge you.

I’ve been a resident of Red Bluff for two decades. I went through middle and high school in this town. I was uncertain about my future in high school. Not knowing what to pursue, I looked for a trade. I started working at a local plumbing firm, DW Plumbing. I began by digging ditches, cleaning job sites, and assisting with demolition. I occasionally helped other trades. Eventually, I moved on to service calls and remodel projects. I spent two years learning from a skilled mentor. I then graduated to PGE jobs, where I earned a prevailing wage. I frequently traveled for work. When the trainers left the company, I saw them go without retirement or benefits. This left me pondering my future. The day came when I asked for a raise, but he couldn’t provide it. So, I took matters into my own hands and gave myself a raise. I’m able to cover my own benefits and set aside money for retirement. Interestingly enough, my father, who has passed, was also in plumbing. I should have realized it sooner.
