Really appreciate Jim's honesty. Light bulb went out in the garage. Changed one but still not working. Jim came and found out that I just had 2 bad light bulbs. Didn't charge me a cent. Very nice. Guess who I'm going to call next time when I need work done around the house...

I sent Jim a message through Yelp about a pendant light that I was having problems with. He made a suggestion as to what the problem was, and I was able to fix it myself. Turned out to be a very simple fix. Thank you!!

I can't say enough about Jim. He's come out to help me out three times now; once a while back at a rental where the landlord refused to help with a roof leak when his guy couldn't figure it out (Jim diagnosed the problem), and twice now at my new home to help with ceiling fans, appliance install, and electrical issues. Not only does he do great work, quickly, but he's also a genuinely good guy.
An example of the latter point: Jim and I had agreed on a price ahead of time for some work we had discussed on the previous trip. He came out (on-time), did his thing, and then when it came time to settle up, he refused to take all of the money we'd agreed upon because he felt the time he spent didn't warrant the original price, even though all the work we'd discussed was completed. How often does that happen?
If you're looking for help with projects or repairs around your house, don't look any further - Jim's the man! I certainly won't be calling anyone else for any future needs...

I like to give credit where credit is due...we hired Jim again for our rental in El Sobrante...and again top notch work! Jim is great, no-nonsense, quick, efficient, knowledgeable, and reasonable. Highly, highly recommend.

Jim was great - I called him when my newly purchased oven wouldn't fit. He came over the very next day, and made what I had work with a simple and effective solution. Professional, friendly, and a can-do perso

Great job Jim came earlier than expected did the job quickly and professionally. Would use him again.

Jim was absolutely fabulous! And I don't say that lightly. But praises are due when they're due! Jim came out on the same day we called, looked at all of the things we needed done - a broken sink, a broken back door latch, a non-working porch light, a non-working hall light and a jammed wall outlet and made all of them good as new in an hour! That's right an hour. No hassling, no haggling and no nonsense. I think probably the most remarkable thing (aside from the awesomely quick and expertly done work) was the price! We called another handyman and after waiting days for a quote we received a $565 monstrosity to fix the five things we asked to be repaired. And that was just for the labor! Parts were an additional fee! Jim's price - parts and labor was 80% less!! That right ... 80%!! That means we can take a plane ride to LA, go out to dinner, get a massage, and spend the night in a nice hotel with all of the money we saved! Parents weekend get-a-way and the house is fixed up!Thank you Jim!!!! Will we call Jim again for any handyman needs? Definitely! Should you call Jim today? Most Certainly!!!

Called Jim last Friday for an electrical problem. He scheduled an appointment to come by that evening. He no showed and didn't even have the courtesy call. I was without power in half my house the whole weekend. Today a very nice handyman came and fixed the problem. Bad way to do business.

Professional and highly recommended. I had a number of jobs that required plumbing, electrical and door replacement which went above my skill levels. Jim came right on time and knew right away what to do for each. Jim and his helper worked hard the entire time and resolved everything that I had issues with. My house is older so you tend to run into issues from former remodels and foundation settling but none of that phased him. Won't hesitate to use him again.

I had a situation where everything in the garage were totally out but the rest of the house were fine. I checked everything and could not figure this out. I called Jim and I believed that it was him answering the call. Instead of coming over and charged me money for something probably simple, he told me what to look for. and he was right. It turned out to be a simple CFGI outlet got tripped.
Jim is a good guy. thanks Jim
