Following several years in various supervisory roles within the home improvement sector, Tammy decided to focus on kitchen remodeling in the San Antonio area. Tammy partnered with Louis Garcia to establish ASAP Renovating Solutions. Together, their experience in home repair is unparalleled. Before, there was an idea. During the building boom in San Antonio, Tammy observed that newly built homes were made with subpar materials and poor workmanship; this was not the only issue. This left the community in want of home repairs in the region. She had a driven spirit and was actively participating in design and home aesthetics, realizing that the people she met needed improvements done quickly. He was able to execute all the home improvement tasks swiftly. This realization led her to understand they were onto something. As a result, ASAP was created.

Louis Garcia, Co-Founder and Vice President, armed with a degree from Texas A&M, spent a significant time in executive management for the food industry. However, his true passion in design. While serving in the US Army, Louis was part of the 584th Engineer Company. In his youth, he was employed by his stepfather, developing skills in building custom decks and handyman trades as a part-time endeavor for 20+ years. Louis collaborated with other home improvement companies, conducting total home renovations and building custom decks on houses that were up for resale. He too witnessed firsthand how the quality of home renovation experts and qualified home improvement services had declined. Thus, he partnered with Tammy G Shockey in 1998 to establish ASAP Renovating Solutions, delivering not just a handyman service but total home improvement in the area.
