The trenchless UV (Ultraviolet) method is a modern technique for repairing sewer lines without the need for excavation.

In this process, a specially designed liner is introduced into the damaged pipe through a current access point, for example, a cleanout. When the liner is in place, ultraviolet lamps are arranged along the full length of the liner. The ultraviolet lamps emit powerful UV light that reacts with a specialized catalyst in the resin.

As the UV lights activate, the resin hardens rapidly within a short time, forming a new pipe inside the existing one. The resin adheres swiftly to the sides of the damaged pipe, resulting in a solid, uninterrupted, and reliable lining.

UV curing offers numerous benefits for trenchless repairs:

1. Quick and efficient: The UV method is quick, taking only a short time, depending on the pipe's length and conditions. This enables quick fixes and reduced interference to surrounding areas.

2. Strong and enduring solution: The hardened resin forms a strong lining that can increase the longevity of the pipe by decades. It resists corrosion, cracks, root intrusions, and chemical deterioration.

3. Reduced excavation necessary: Since the UV method is trenchless, it needs very little excavation, minimizing the disturbance from excavation.
