The UV (Ultraviolet) technique for trenchless repairs is a non-invasive approach for addressing subsurface plumbing issues without traditional digging.

During this method, a specially designed liner is inserted into the affected pipe through an existing access point, such as a cleanout. After the liner is set, specialized UV lamps are positioned throughout the entire liner. These UV lights generate intense UV rays that interacts with a specific catalyst in the resin.

When the UV lamps are turned on, the resin cures quickly within a short time, creating a new pipe within the old one. The resin adheres swiftly to the interior of the old pipe, resulting in a solid, uninterrupted, and reliable lining.

The UV curing process provides several advantages for trenchless repairs:

1. Fast and effective: The UV method is quick, lasting only a brief period, based on the pipe's size and state. This allows for fast repairs and reduced interference to surrounding areas.

2. Strong and enduring solution: The hardened resin forms a strong lining that can extend the pipe's lifespan by many years. It resists issues like corrosion, cracking, root invasion, and chemical damage.

3. Reduced excavation necessary: Because this method is trenchless, it needs very little excavation, lessening the need for disruptive digging.
