The UV (Ultraviolet) technique for trenchless repairs is a modern technique for addressing subsurface plumbing issues without traditional digging.

With this technique, a flexible liner is inserted into the affected pipe through a pre-existing entry, for example, a cleanout. When the liner is in place, ultraviolet lamps are set along the entire liner. These UV lights emit powerful UV light that reacts with a specific catalyst in the resin.

As the UV lights activate, the resin begins to set quickly within minutes, establishing a new lining inside the damaged pipe. The resin attaches firmly to the interior of the old pipe, resulting in a strong, continuous, and durable lining.
