I have been meaning to write about the service I received. I thought it was time to clean out my sewer line to the street with a water jet. I called ARS/ Rescue Rooter Houston and they came out the same day. Before charging me to clean my line they ran a camera cable through the line to see if it was clogged. They said it was very clean and did not need to be water jetted. They did not charge me anything. It was a pleasure dealing with an honest company. This is how a company develops customer loyalty.

I took half a day off to wait for the tech who was scheduled to come within a 4 hour window. After more than 5 hours and two calls to dispatch the guy said he would be there in 30 min. I requested the tech to call me and he never did. What a waste of time. I should have known what to expect with a company with 2 star rating. The tech could have at least called me.

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. They overcharged us for a job, did it incorrectly and had to have a team come out several times to correct it. 4 months later and we discover they messed up on it and it's STILL wrong and is leaking! I've had an appointment that no one showed up for and "customer service" was zero help. All they did was "make a note". RUN, don't walk away from this company. Their work was shoddy, their billing was bad and their customer service is atrocious

We had a Moen faucet installed by this company. Cost was 623.00 for faucet and installation. . (Said he gave me a discount of 67.00, original price was 675.00). Price for faucet at Home Depot is 220.00. Garbage disposal did not work after repairman left. Called him and he said motor was probably bad in disposal. Purchased new one and had installed by another company who discovered after installation that previous man had re- plugged the disposal into dead socket after installing the faucet. Did not need garbage disposal. After about 950.00 spent, I have new faucet and garbage disposal. Please check around before using this company.

well, they couldn't tell me what their price per pound was over the phone and charge a 79$ visit fee, which is waived should you use them... however, if you find they are over priced, well you wont know till they come out. That alone tells me its a shady company, coupled with other folks reviews here id say its safe to avoid these guys. ARS, suck it!!!! :D

I had a clogged kitchen drain that keeps getting clogged frequently. I have unclogged it a few times myself so I called ARS to schedule a camera line inspection for $69. The technician shows up 2 hours late from my window appointment, and he doesn't have a camera equipment because "it's too expensive for them so only supervisors have access". My appointment which I specifically asked for was for the camera line inspection. He convinced me to do the drain unclogging for $250, and says that the camera line inspection will be done by a supervisor later at "no charge". I called ARS after 2 business days to schedule the camera line viewing. Now they tell me that the drain line has to be completely clear of debris or anything else before they do the camera line inspection. To clear the line completely they have to do their Hydro Blast service for $375. At this point, it feels like I am being scammed by a professional. This service call went from $69 camera line inspection, to a $250 drain unclog, to a potential $375 hydro blast. This is very unprofessional of a company that I thought had a good reputation. I will not be calling them again for anything.

Liars and dishonest! These people are inconsiderate and unprofessional each step of the way. They have no qualms canceling appointments. They lie and keep customers hanging before they cancel appointments and don't even show up. How can anyone trust a company that doesn't keep its word about basic matters. Then when they show up they're sloppy and careless. All the negative reviews are a good measure of this company. Stay away from them them and protect yourself.

I have depended on ARS to reliably and fairly keep my HVAC system working. I schedule regular maintenance and have kept past systems for many years. My newest system is a Carrier installed several years ago. I have had at least 2 major issues with the system that have cost 100s. The repair and install teams have come promptly, but they have left a mess after each visit.
ARS and Carrier have failed me.

I called about getting my sinks unclogged and was told the plumber would be arriving between 2:30pm to 6:30pm. I received a call at 5:06pm and was informed that they would not be able to come out today because they didn't have a plumber. I told him that was unacceptable that I had been waiting all day for them and questioned why they waited to call and hour and half away from them arriving to let me know they didn't have a plumber. How did they not have a plumber when they give those kind of time windows. He said they could do it tomorrow but could not give me a time frame. I told them that it was not good business to have people waiting all day and He then stated that they were not the right company for me. I guess I should have read reviews instead of falling for the stupid ad!

I just had my full system replaced. Compressor, furnace, evaporator coil and all. Those vans don't come out for a $300.00 fix. Those technicians sole mission is to up sell and install full systems nothing else nothing more. And when the smaller company will charge $5000.00 ARS or John Moore will charge you double that amount. On the other hand if you can't afford the system they do offer financing! I choose to use the smaller family owned business and stay clear from ARS or John Moore. You have been warned ......
