Jonathan came out to help me with an issue I was having when another plumber (different company) installed a tankless water heater for me.

He checked everything and made sure the settings were correct and resolved some of the noise the new tankless was making. He also explained how tankless works and that getting rid of all the noise was nearly impossible but showed me ways to have it only trigger at minimal times.

I was ready to go back to tanked water heater but he calmed me down and explained the tankless lasts longer and will ultimately save me money in the long run. I'm planning on using his services again to install some water conditioning devices.

He mentioned that these could help the noise but mainly would reduce maintenance and ensure water coming out of any house fixture functioned better. That's why I'd recommend ARS and Jonathan in particular because he knows his stuff.

It's no fun hiring 2 plumbers to do one water heater install correctly so don't always go with the cheapest offer at the start like I did. Go with ARS first

I have a maintenance plan with ARS. One of the selling points was priority service appointments. I called the other day to schedule an appointment for today. I was told the first available appointment would be between 1 and 5 today Friday. No problem. At 2:25 I received a call saying it would be closer to between 3 & 5. At 4:52 I called and was told I was next but could not be given a time. Here it is 5:41 it is 95 degrees in my house and I have to leave at 6:30 for a 7:00 appointment. How would you review this business? I'm being generous with one star no lower review available.

I called ARS when my air went out. Not only did they charge my account 14 dollars for homeowners protection after I canceled it the same day, I never got refunded my money. I called them 5 times and all I got was the run around from this company. They over charge and owe me money.. Never call this company!!!

I would give zero stars if that were an option. Had a tech named Ever come into my home today to check out an issue with our AC unit. Well, he completely trashed our attic. My husband & I go into our attic often. We use it as extra storage since our house isn't too large. Everything has a place up there. Ever knocked things over into open insulation, some items were on the opposite side of the attic from where they belong (as if thrown). Totes full of keepsakes knocked over and spilled over into loose insulation and he didn't say a word.... He even left a mess of insulation in my hallway without letting me know. I have a toddler.. what if he would have found all that insulation on the floor before I did? Basically paid $100 to have him come into my home, trash my attic, leave a hazard for my child and give us an outrageous quote. He didn't even put the AC unit in the attic back together. My husband is currently cleaning our attic up and putting the unit back together. It's safe to say that we won't be using this company ever again.

They started out fine. Dependable. Then their quality went down, way down due to this last visit. They installed a new AC unit, compressor and coil, but it did not pass city inspection. The problem was a small leak in a line and an AC vent touching a wooden support in the attic. After a week and a half, problems still not fixed. They keep sending people out who are not qualified to fix these repairs or who were told that the AC is not cooling. I have cancelled all my maintenance contracts with them.

This was the worst experience ever. Rep showed up with only trying to sale me a new A/C. When that didn't work he tried to pressure me into buying parts I didn't need and 2 pounds of Freon at $174 each. I asked him to leave. The next company EJCM came out cleaned the AC and changed the air filter and my AC is working great. I didn't need any of the things the ARS man tried to sell me.

Disorganized, expensive and have stood me up multiple times. Dispatch personnel was extremely rude. Took me off the schedule because I was 5 minutes late calling me back.

With all the choices in Houston for AC repair, I would stay away from ARS.

Company was called out to repair water heater for my neighbor. Walter arrived and backed his truck, jumped a curb and ran into my mailbox. Luckily, I was home to see entire incident. When I asked his what happened he said, oh, I wondered why my truck wouldn't go. Something was stopping me." I immediately, called the corporate relations department in TN and spoke with Keila. She stated that they would look into it and give me a call back. I called the local office and conferences called Keila since they were pointing fingers at each other. The representative at the Houston office was like, it's just a mailbox. I explained it was my property and it's the principal of the situation. Keila, stayed that since it was a corporate issue become I called corporate first. We hung up, Keila called back a few days later and stated that the contractor would call to schedule appointment. I agreed! One week later, no one has reached out! I called yesterday to check on status and was told your case is closed!! Closed, how??? Not one manager has reached out! Not an apology! I wasn't even their customer but after this I will never be!!

If I could give them a zero I would. Called and was told that I could have service between 6 and 10 PM since my toilets were backing uo with sewerage. Got a call at 5 telling me that they could get to me only tomorrow. I told them that that was NOT an option. Rep said that she would check and get back with me soon. More than an hour later she called back and said there would be a plumber out within a half hour. Waited more than 45 minutes later and called them back only to be placed on hold while the dispatcher checked with the plumber about the situation. After 6-7 minutes, after repeated recorded commercials the line disconnected. Called back only to get some woman who dissed me and told me that I would not be able to "raise my voice" at her indignant a**. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH THESE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE!!

Steve just called to cancel my afternoon appointment. This was scheduled for 1-5pm and I took the afternoon off work to meet them. DO NOT USE THEM.
