Had a "tune up" done of my furnace after being pressured to at home depot. So a guy comes out and looks all over my unit telling me this and that works and this and that needs to be fixed. He gives me astronomical quotes for repairs and does his best to upsell crap on me. I did not have anyone come out to get a quote I thought I was getting a tune up. Very poor advertising. Then to boot he was so worried trying to sell me his thing to clear allergens out of my ducts he left the furnace cover open!

We made a appointment two days ago saying they would be here between 9am to 1pm my husband called because no one showed up and the woman said she woukd be here at 3pm well its 3:30pm and no one is still here. This is a very unreliable business and were not giving our money or our business to this company.

Worst service ever. NOT RELIABLE.

Moral of the story - ARS has horrible customer service and they leave people stranded without use of their plumbing. Don't use them!!!!!!

All plumbing in our home was clogged so we called ARS. They came out between 10-2 as promised but then were unable to do anything because they "had to come back tomorrow between 10-2 to snake our lines. We will call when we are on our way."

The next day, we were home bound all day waiting for the plumber to show back up. No one came between 10-2. At 245p, we called in and asked for an updated. They said dispatch would call us with an ETA but someone would be there that day. 445p - no call. 450p, we call back in, report the problem and lack of service. The operator said they ask dispatch what was going on but dispatch could be not be reached but supposedly a message was left with the plumbing manager to call us. I explained to them that I was 6 months pregnant, vomiting often due to pregnancy and severely needed use of my bathroom. I even asked if someone wasn't able to come out, to let me know ASAP and I would get a hotel. We were promised, again, that someone would be out to our home that day. 7p - no calls from anyone. No word from anyone ever.

Next day - no calls or show up. We called another plumber who was there in 2 hours and fixed the issue in 15 minutes.

Their advertisements are lies. The company is not at all reliable. I scheduled an appointment several days ago and they called me later to cancel and tell me it had to be rescheduled because the technician was unable to come out. I rescheduled for tonight, 12/15/2017, and they told me it would be between 6 PM and 10 PM. I have waited all of this time and it is now 10 PM and nobody showed up. This is ridiculous. And none of theircustomer service reps or dispatch seems to know what the heck is going on.

As an update, I called back at 11 pm on 12/15/2017 to get an explanation. The dispatch women said shed check into why no one showed and call me back. I never heard from her again. I called at 10 am the next day and asked for a manager. I was told the plumbing manager was not there so I asked for any manager. I was then told that the manager that was there was not in the warehouse and would call me back. That was 3 days ago. The only thing I've heard from this company was what they posted today, 12/19/2017, in response to my negative review.

Let me tell you about this company. I called on Thursday, scheduled an appointment for Friday between 4-8, gave all of my info and made the appointment. On Friday I left work EARLY to be home in case they were coming early. I waited, and waited and no call. Finally I called them. They had no record of my calling at all, and no appointment scheduled. The CSR was very rude and basically said "what do you want me to do about this." Then I had a supervisor call me back and apologize, she said she found my call from the previous day and was not sure why the appointment was never entered. I said fine, can you come out tomorrow, she said yes. She set me up for an "appointment" (I use that term very loosely) for Saturday between 2-6. I had a Christmas lunch but I NEED this issue resolved so I left my Christmas lunch EARLY (again) to head home by 2 so if they called I would be home and available. I get a call at 5pm from them and they said "I see that you requested service today but we don't have a technician available to come by would you like me to schedule you for tomorrow." To which I responded, no. Because honestly, what is the flipping point. You make an appointment and they don't seem to mean much in the grand scheme of things. I won't use this company again. This review is consistent with the reviews below. I don't know what their business model is, whether they are merely an answering service that contracts independent contractors and maybe they take appointments without confirming availability of technicians. Regardless, this isn't how I work, this is not how the service industry should work. I would avoid these people unless you have all of the time in the world for reschedules etc.

Horrible! Communication is key! I was provided a window of 8am-12pm. I called 3 times and was told he was 30min away, 15min away, and finally he is running behind. Then I was told the 8am -12pm window is not a guaranteed time??? No one mentioned that and the dispatcher acted as if I was wrong and should know better? I even reminded them or communicated that they are not being honest. Horrible horrible horrible-I had another appointment accross town and will more than likely not make it at 3pm based on their 4 hour window of arrival time. It is 1:15pm and they are still not here. Annoyed with poor customer service and lack of communication.

Worst experience ever with an install. I ended up with them as a contractor for home depot (Which I will add under home depot review as well since they didn't have any other options). Hot water heater installers never showed up. I took off work because the window of 10-2 was such a huge gap of the day.They weren't even apologetic.
I was so upset I called hone depot to make a complaint. This contractor was rude and unprofessional from start to finish. The killing part was I called to get an estimate and they couldn't tell me. They said it depends. I just wanted high end to low end kind of estimate but I said Ok well let me call a few more people and I'll get back with y'all. They called back 20 minutes later on my work direct line which I never gave them and doesn't show up on caller I'd. This means they called the operator on the main number and got transferred. Then didn't want to get off the phone when I said I was in the middle of something and I'll call back. They kept saying it will only take a minute. Well I wasn't alone in the office and didn't want everybody to hear my business so I insisted that they let me call back. I asked what the callback number was and the woman had the audacity to say "the same one you called on", Well I didn't have the number because I just dialed the number from the website and thought it would be easier for her just to give me the number. They did all this harassment and didn't even call or show up. I called them at 130p on the day of the install to see how far out the tech was. They said they don't come in to College Station on Tuesdays. I asked why hadn't someone called and told me they made a mistake. They should have saw on a calendar or through dispatch thar I was scheduled wrong. The answer to my question was "I don't know". I asked for a manager. He got on the phone and let me ecplain what happened. His response "that is correct we dont come to College Station on Tuesdays and I dont know why they didnt call you". No apology for wasting my time, nothing. They didnt care whatsoever. Never again.

No call no show. Took half day off from work. 12-4 window. I called them at 3:45. Crew was a couple miles away per dispatcher. I called back at 4:45. Their crew just cleared a job and were getting ready to go to Home Depot to get my products for the install. Cancelled install. Called Home Depot next. Cancelled order. Both lost $400. I lost a half day's pay. No apologies from either. Won't ever use either one again.

How would you like to spend $300 for a plumbing repair that leaked after the tech left? I had to find and install the drain piece on the garbage disposal before we had a working sink. I'm sure it was broken during the repair but they claimed otherwise.

ARS advertises $69 to clean out a drain. It cost us $300 to get our kitchen sink drain unclogged. They advertise the lowest service possible but $231 is a huge difference.
