I wish I had read the reviews before I booked them on angies list to come to my house to fix a simple clogged main drain line. I should have done my research. I was given a large timeframe of the day that they would come by starting at 8am till 1 pm. Around 12pm I called to make sure they still had me on the schedule but made the mistake of calling the HVAC side. My honest mistake ended with me being rudely told that they dont know the number to the plumbing side and hanging up on me. I brushed this off in hopes that they would soon be at my house to help with my problem. An hour after their timeslot goes by and I am the one calling them asking if they are coming. another 2 hours and I call again I get told that someone is in the area, and then another hour passes and I call again to find out that they cannot even come that day. And I am the one that has to call. Their communication is terrible and they did not even have a manager available to speak with. Every person I spoke with on the phone treated me like I was an inconvenience to them and saw no issue with the way the day transpired. After I was told they would not come, I reached out to another company and within 45 mins they were at my house and fixed my problem. All I wanted was communcation.

Even one star is being extremely too nice, they deserve a negative. I have been given the run around trying get my heating system fixed since October just after only a month of buying it. I had to leave my home creating more problems for me, do NOT use this company if you know what's best for you!

What can I say nice about this company; """"NOTHING """". The company tech.s that came to service my HVAC where poorly train to diagnose problems, I am saying two came out at different times and diagnosed the problem completely wrong, which would of cost me thousand of dollars, turn out I got another diagnosis from another tech from the company which resulted 1% of that amount that I was quoted, The tech was honest and efficient in detecting and correcting the problem. Also there is another problem that arises concerning there policy on service call payment to be applied to repair quote, did not happen, another thing, tech. did not show up on time, matter fact not at all, receive a phone saying on the way, next call will they be able to enter the building after 5, next call can we reschedule for tomorrow due to missing equipment need for the job, now I have taken off half the day now I got to take off another half to full day do to there negligence and miss diagnosis which I found out to be a bad thermostat not reversing valve which was diagnosis by two technicians from the company, which would cost me dearly . So, beware , get a second opinion before committing to there quote.

I bought a Rheem furnace in December of 2018 and had ARS install it. In November 2019 the furnace would not turn on. I had to pay the ARS to come out and blow water out of the pressure switches. They didn't say why this was happening just told me that the furnace was working now. Come November 2020 we go to turn on the furnace again and it will not turn on. I called ARS out to figure out what the problem was. I paid them again and they told me that the pressure switches had gone bad, keep in mind this is a 22 month old furnace and the cost for replacing the pressure switches is a third of the cost of the entire furnace. The guy said that even though the furnace was less than two years old sometimes """"the pressure switches just go bad in these furnaces"""". I decided that I needed a second opinion because there was clearly something wrong and ARS was either too incompetent or slimy to tell me what the issue was. A second company came out and immediately told me that the furnace has been installed incorrectly. ARS had tied in the flu into my hot water flu. This explains why the pressure switches kept getting filled with water. I called and told ARS what the competent company had uncovered. They sent out a Field supervisor to take a look. The field supervisor said that it had indeed been installed incorrectly in that the flu never should have been connected to the hot water flu. Since then, they refuse to call me back. I cannot get corporate or the branch office to do anything about refunding me for the pressure switches or the diagnostic costs. They say they are going to call me at 7:30 AM, then they don't call, then I called them and reschedule it for the afternoon, then they don't call, then I try and call them back and no one answers. The only reason that I found out that they had been lying to me is because I paid another company to come take a look at the installation. It is now officially an entire month that I have been trying to get this company to fix their mistake. Now I am out money from the two diagnostic tests that they lied about, the real diagnostic test from the other company, and I have a two-year-old furnace that is installed wrong and does not work. For your own sanity, do NOT use this company. They are completely incompetent and have no problem lying to your face about it.

So after searching for reviews of this company I have decided NOT to use them. I was going to replace our entire HVAC system but after careful consideration and seeing all the negative reviews I am going to err on the side of common sense and just say no. I had a tech come out lst year and he found (supposedly) a weak start/run capacitior. He told me it would be $170 to replace it. I said no thanks I can do that. It cost me $9. It took me a whole 10 minutes to replace but while I was doing that I decided to clean the blower fan and the blades on it...which took me a hour to do. I had asked him about cleaning the blower fan and what it would cost for that and it was $260. So in all I saved myself A LOT of money. Glad I can do this stuff myself. a few weeks back I had them come and check the system. Of course the guy said Oh..your system is 22 years old. Then he does a check and out of the blue the furnace doesn't start the first time. Yea ok...first time in 22 years its done that. Hmmmm. OK then he check my A/C unit...oh your freon is low ..its R22..you cant get that anymore. Well yea you can. ..just need to find someone who still has it. When he disconnects his gauges he releases a bit of freon. DUMB ASS!!! Just do your self a favor...Do NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!

Worst experience ever. This company was referred by Home Depot for my sink and dishwasher. But unfortunately they only connected my sink and not my dishwasher they didn't even tell me. When I found out I called the company, To let them know they didn't complete the job as planned. They said they were gonna come the next day to hook up the dish washer. I waited for my time window from 2-6. They called at the last Minute and said the technician could not come and scheduled me for the next day. Once again I called previously to make sure they came during my time window. They said they were coming from 2-6 and did not show up and I called MYSELF to figure out why they did not show up. I spoke with kedusha and she said HERSELF """"there's nothing I can do for you"""" and she said """"I could go back to Home Depot and figure it out myself """". On Monday November 30th they gave me a time window from 2-6 again because of my bad experience with them I made sure to call at 2:30 to make sure they would come and the lady on the phone assured me that they would come. She called me at 5:10 and said they could not make it again reminding you again this is the 3rd time this has happened. Now they gave me another schedule for tommorow dec 1st 2020. I will update you on how it goes. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED with. I don't recommend this to anyone.

Appointment 11/20 between 12 & 4. No show by 3:45 so called for update. Told Brian was delayed but should arrive by 4:30. Still no show by 5:30 so called again. Was now told arrival by 6. STILL no show by 6:45! Was told Brian apparently decided to go home instead of coming to service my unit. They asked to postpone till Monday with a discount. My response was a flat NO, cancelled the service call, made notes to myself to NEVER use them and will find someone else. They called again Saturday AM (first time THEY called me) offering to get someone out that day with discount. I guess they only cared to call me AFTER I cancelled the service! I again told them NO!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT A GOOD JOB DONE AND GOOD SERVICE. I had two HVAC techs come out to install a new HVAC unit at my home, after they contacted me through the Home Depot website. It was very clear that it was the first day on the job for one of the technicians. 8 hours into the job, he fell through our ceiling, damaging it right before the hurricane hit us so our top floor is very cold right now. It took them 2 days to completely install the HVAC unit when it was originally supposed to take 1. They promised me a contractor would come to fix our ceiling and it's been 8 days since the incident and no one in their office has contacted me. I have called our Sales rep and their main office multiple times during this period.

The response from customer service to my original post is interesting since I have spoken with the same people for more than two weeks. In fact I had a conference call today with two people, including Mattie, the young woman asking me to give her a call so this can be straightened out. I've had conversations with her more than five times in the last two weeks. Not only has the resolution not been found, I was supposed to receive another call from her this afternoon, telling me when they would honor their word concerning my guarantee. The phone has yet to ring.

I hired this company through Home Depot. When given the original quote to have my flooring installed I agreed to have the plumbers come in before and after to uninstall and reconnect a few appliances and three toilets. However, I found out that the original quote from Home Depot only included 1 toilet disconnect and reconnect charge. The additional 2 toilets, gas stove and dishwater ended up being over $900+ for disconnect and reconnect on top of the initial charge from Home Depot In addition, I was not told when ARS would be returning, so when I talked with them early Friday morning, they said a tech would be by the house within a few hours. This was 8 am. I got to the house by 10 AM to wait and ended up waiting until 2 pm. Just a bad experience. Hidden costs, which I wasn't prepared for. And being misinformed and misled on burg pricing and timing. Would not recommend them.
