Recommended Customer Reviews

We purchased an AC unit from them in 2020. Our first issue just occurred so was great service until now. The AC unit was not working and some one come to fix it. Cost $400 and advised would bring back a filter. Well, within a week no filter and the unit went out again. Contacted on Sunday and advised would have someone out the next day and received a confirmation. No one has came out and it now Wednesday. Have been going back and forth and now saying they will have someone come out on July 16th. It is the 12th and been without air in 90+ degree weather since the 9th. There customer service is terrible and key incorrect information and is not understanding to the issue and the urgency that is needed for service that their employee has caused about not fixing the service. Do not do service with them unless you are willing to wait weeks and deal with a company that has zero empathy for your issues.

I had 9 missed calls from this company. Called me on a holiday and I did set up an appointment the next day for a quote. Guy on phone said 9 am-10am my email said 9am-1pm. I called to cancel and the person who I needed to talk with was not there. I asked them to send a message to them, and was told I will try. You have to go through so many people. I had a bad feeling about this. Glad I canceled by looking at reviews. I usually check reviews first. Glad I stopped this in time!

I am very disappointed in the services I received from ARS (who was contracted with Lowes at the time of the installation) (1) Installation of the incorrect HVAC system: Sold on Carrier HVAC system; a dual unit and a new furnace and air handler. Rheem brand HVAC and furnace and air handle, single motor unit was installed. This took several calls to address. Once the installation team arrived to replace the HVAC with the Carrier brand with dual motor, we were informed the installers were missing parts. Upon installation of the correct HVAC (Carrier brand), that evening the air conditioner stopped working - it wouldn't cool down. We called out to ARS to take a look and we were informed there were issues with the installation that required additional intervention. One week later after the supposed """"fixing"""" of the issue, the air conditioner is not working again and there was condensation on one of the air vents. We called ARS and a technician came out who did not properly fix the issue. When calling ARS back to get another technician out, the """"supervisor"""" that addressed the call was not helpful in getting a technician out. The manager called us back to explain we would be getting a more experienced senior technician the next day to re-assess the issue. The senior technician arrived today and spent hours triaging the issue. A new thermostat was placed and he found that the brand new air handler that was installed was broken (Cool air was not being pushed to the rest of the floor). They must now order a new blower from the manufacturer which will take additional time and the air conditioner currently does not work anymore. (2) Multiple calls were placed into fixing the black box that was installed improperly as no notes were left on my file regarding the initial installation issues. One technician l came out and duck taped it together which was not okay given the exposure of the wiring inside presented a fire hazard. After talking with several upper management, we finally got someone out to replace the box.

I can't believe I fell for this scam through Home Depot. $109 and they will clean and make any repairs that may be needed. All you get is somebody come out and tell you that you should pay them 14k for a 6k new system install without doing any testing.

The guys who came to our house to replace our HVAC unit were great, except they took some parts with them that they should have left behind for the insurance adjuster. However, the guy who came out to diagnose the problem apparently lied through his teeth, according to our insurance company. We didn't need a brand new unit at all. We just needed a new electrical part that would have cost a few hundred dollars, as opposed to the several thousand that we paid for a new unit. This was in June 2022. They have never been able to explain why their sales guy lied. I wish we'd seen the reviews from other people with the same problem, but many of them happened after our unit was replaced. I guess that's what we get for being desperate for relief from the 95°F temps inside our house. They also promised thermostats that could be controlled via an app on our phones, but that's not what they installed. We had to call back several times to get the thermostats we were promised.

BUYER BEWARE We called ARS to come and take a look at our upstairs air conditioner and in less than 10 minutes the technician came down and told me that the circuit control board was blown but given that our unit was 10 years old he would recommend that swap out the complete unit. He said it would cost $2000.00 for a new controller but for $9750.00 I should go on and get a new system because he felt my existing system would continue to malfunction. Something did not feel right so I decided to get a second opinion. Invited Peachtree Air and HVAC to take a look. Like the first technician, he too came down within 10 minutes, but instead of him telling me that my controller was bad and recommending that I get a new system. He replaced the fuse in the upstairs unit and replaced something called a Definite Purpose Contactor in less than an hour my system was blowing cold again. Total cost $207.00. So ARS either incompetent or SCAMMERS. I will let you decide.

Repulsive price gouging. Don't even bother with them. They installed our downstairs HVAC system completely new with a Rheem system in 2019 via Home Depot. The fan motor went out and still under warranty. The technician came out a day late and quoted us $1250 for the labor + the $89 for the service call. I spoke with his superior or whatever and they said there was nothing they could do, it was the national average. Welp, ARS are liars and price gougers. Upon further research you can easily see the national average for replacing a fan motor to be around $300-$500 if it's under warranty.

initially received great customer service prior to committing to ARS. I had a new HVAC unit installed last year of November. Last year, my water heater was not lit due to the location of where the water heater and HVAC unit is located. Because of the installation, the tech did not turn the water heater back on (which was less than a year old at the time). I called another company to come out to fix the water heater and I had to pay $200 for them to relight it as there were no issues with the water heater otherwise.I was informed by customer service to leave a voicemail to their manager and I did several times and never received a follow up call. Be aware that the technicians may mess with other things that should not be messed with and they will not fix it on site and leave it up to you to pay for their mistakes.

Should be zero stars. Ruben came to my home to give me a quote on a new hvac system. Started at $ 11,979 then I called another service provider while he was at my home. He was telling my significant other I'm rude for calling this other company ( which I asked him if it's ok..but it's my home btw). Got quote from the other company for same exact installation for $6k , almost 6 thousand less than these clowns at ARS. He said he'd match it but honestly I was repulsed by this guy and the high pressure sales tactics... I don't want to do biz w him. Then he leaves and I learn he told my spouse that he should look for a new spouse. Yes, ladies and gentlemen...you read that correctly. Worst experience with a service provider in my entire life. Epic waste of our time

They deserve a zero. Their units are way too much to be having the issues I have been havingbfor an enotre year. Now, I need to look into legal options. Has anyone had to sue them? I wish I saw these reviews before I purchased.
