Extremely satisfied with the service! A/C went out and they had a tech out within 3 hours. Our tech Quoc that did the work was great. Part was not available so they drove to an alternate warehouse across town to pick it up. I verified the price they quoted and it was significantly less than a local competitor. We are on a maintenance contract with them and will continue to use them.

If I could give this company a zero I will. This is a very dishonest company. I went to home depot and accepted an offer for an A/C tune up. The scheduling went well and the tech showed up on time. That's where it ends. The tech looked at the condenser outside and comes back and says there is a cable making contact with each other and they are sparkling. Do you want me to fix it; """"yeah if it is for real I don't want a fire or something worse to happen to the unit, I said"""". Now the tune up is costing me $133. Then he comes into the garage and starts messing with the unit just because we said it was a bit loud; for about 2 hours he plays around with the unit and then leave saying the motor is going. About 30 minutes later the unit became very loud and making loud humming sounds. We shut it off and call them to come back out to fix it because it was working fine before the tech touched it. They come out and said the motor died. It will cost you $785.00 to replace it. Thieves! I was without A/C for about 5 days IN 90 in 90 degree weather before they call me to try to get me to accept them to replace the motor. No, I called another company that replace it for less money. But I say they owe me They rob me of $133.00 and wanted to rob me some more $785.00 for replacing the motor that their own tech broke. HORRIBLE COMPANY; DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. DO NOT HIRE THEM. THEY ARE MANY SMALL AND MEDIUM COMPANIES IN THE TAMPA BAY AREA WITH AFFORDABLE RATES AND HONEST TECHNICIANS.

Had just the A/C unit installed. Was charged $658 to have unit temporarily fixed, then a salesman came out with quotes for a new unit. The quotes were very high starting over $6,000. For medical reasons we jumped the gun and agreed to have the A/C installed. Had no problem with the installers but after talking to other people in our complex and other A/C companies we were totally overcharged!!! Feel like we were taken!!!!

Chaz and Josh are a different type of great. Not only are they good at their job, but they are a funny duo. They definitely know what they are doing. They made me feel comfortable with having strangers in my home by making me laugh and all that they know. After a few hours they didn't feel like your basic installers. They became my friend. They showed me exactly how to check over my equipment and Chaz even took the time to set up the app to control my thermostat. That wasn't part of his job but it's just who he is. Both Josh and Chaz work well together and get the job done. I would definitely recommend them. And their company was smart putting these two together. They work fast and efficient with a dash of humor. They certainly had a big job to do today and they did it with smiles and laughter in this heat. Which then made this process a lot less tedious. I will actually miss them that's how awesome they were. 5 stars all the way around!!!

This has a strong smell of SCAM all over it. I started wondering if I was getting sold an AC unit or a time-share? I requested a free quote for a new HVAC system from Home Depot and the ars company reached out. The were quick enough to schedule a visit and do a quick review of our existing unit. Then the sales person began a presentation with a thick binder. He was right away trying to upsell me with various guarantees and wanted to speak about everything except the unit or units in question. I tried getting a price range but he would not provide one. I then had to stop him and explain that I needed a quote or two, as I was shopping arround. He then stated that he could not provide a quote nor a price range unless I agreed to a 45 minute presentation on their gaurantees and other features. In otherwords, I had to listen to his sales pitch uninterupted for 45 minutes or I was not getting a quote. My time is more important to myself and my family, than to be held hostage in my own home just to get a quote. Clearly their prices do not compte well and their quotes can not be relied on without a 45 minute barrage of corporate propaganda. Buyers beware of this outfit. Take your business elsewhere!

Made an appointment 3 days in advance, call back the day of to confirm appointment. technician was suppose to be here between 2 and 6pm. Well at 6:30pm I give them a call and the lady says that the technician left a message on my phone at 5:30pm and canceled my appointment because I didn't answer. This of course never happen as I have been waiting since 2pm for them to arrive. What a total waste of my day sitting here for nothing. Thanks ARS! Save you money and time, go some where else..

Poor installation and warranty service. I had my $23k worth of new HVAC systems installed in my house because the ones that they installed ~10 years ago were shot. Now, after 4 months, my new systems are breaking down. Incredibly useless customer service. They say they will send a tech out during a 4-hour window, and they have yet to show. You call them back, and they say they will have """"dispatch"""" contact us. They never do. Finally, when they do send out a technician, he needs to learn how to check the voltage. He then told me that he had to order a motherboard for the outdoor unit, which wouldn't happen for a few days. Now, the 2nd system is broken down. The drain overflow switch is bad, and of course, there is no word on the tech.

I called ARS since they are a preferred supplier for air conditioning sales and service through Home Depot. It was the biggest mistake to call them. Home Depot needs to remove them from accessing Home Depot customers: 1) Their price was about $5,000 more than other estimates for a new A/C unit and 2) The salesman who came to my home to assess was to0 pushy of a sales person. I repeatedly told him that I am obtaining quotes yet he tried to overcome that objection and failed miserably. When a customer tells you they will think about it, respect their choice. I went with another company. Buyer beware.

Two years ago we went through Home Depot and hired ARS to replace our AC system and duct work at a cost of $17k. At the time of signing the paperwork, the representative told us that we were to also receive a UV light. Now, 2 years later, ARS comes out to do a $69 inspection of our AC and we are told that there is mold in our duct work and we need to spend $1k to add a UV light. They quickly agreed to reduce the cost to $750. I am amazed that what we were told at the time of purchase, and what we thought we were buying, does not match what we actually received. Fortunately, before the representative could install the expensive UV light, I found out that this was a scam and we cancelled the order. I will never use this company again!!!

A guy at Home Depot talked me into servicing my AC system. In two days time a guy from the company arrived right on time and started servicing my AC. From the very beginning everything seemed a bit off - he needed help to turn off one of the units, wasn't sure about a lot of things but insisted that I stay with him so that he could explain everything that he was doing which wasn't easy 'cause he spoke a kind of garbled English. After a while I left him to himself and he kept on doing something. Eventually he declared everything was tip top but for one small thing - a capacitor had to be replaced because the readings he got were a bit higher than 6% of the rating on the capacitor. I asked him about the price. Being trustful by nature I initially believed what the guy told me - they would give me a rebate on the capacitor """"normally you would pay 309 $ for it, but it's a special price of 249$ for Home Depot clients and 245$ for installation and nobody else would do it for this price"""" and he proceeded with his work. I decided to look it up on the internet and found out that the price of the capacitor was a little over 18$ bucks and you could either replace it yourself (15 min. at the longest) or call in smb to do it for a fair price. The greediest of handymen wouldn't charge more than a hundred for that kind of a job. When I confronted the guy with the information and suggested that it looked like some kind of a primitive scam to me he didn't have much to say but kept on mumbling smth about his company's policies and some kind of a """"special warranty"""" they were ready to give their clients. So I paid for the service (never received an invoice), bought the capacitor and replaced it myself. Frankly it took me longer to write this review. P.S. I don't think people at Home Depot are part of this, I am sure they are just as gullible as myself.
