In a nutshell;

1. Had to reschedule 2 times, 1st time didn't show, 2nd time were late.

2. Rude customer phone service.

3. They try to up sale you. They tried to sell me a basic quarter turn valve replacement ($20) with a water heater Anode rod ($40) for $470 !! Oh that includes labor. Oh I forgot to add the $49 for the hot water heater flush.

Never again will I use ARS......

I had a mystery problem in my garage and Francisco was dispatched the same day . He spent endless time trying to resolve the issue, no stone was left un-turned to try to find the source. Francisco was patient, professional and kind and we were able to pin-point the problem. It's the second time I've used this company and I highly recommend them.

Eric the lead technician came to my home and was very helpful and honest. He give a new a quote for a new AC and Heating system I couldn't let expire. The installation crew which consists of Miguel, Victor and Andres were very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. T he y answered all the questions my husband and O asked during the installation process. We are very satisfied with our new HVAC purchase.

would not recommend this company to anyone,beware.....called to get a toilet unclogged, they came out and told us we have major issues with our main drain and that their camera shows the snake going through the pipe and they would have to replace a section
$ 15,000 for repair........when I refused to believe them,they were very rude........I purchased a new plunger and cleared both toilets in ten minutes.....these guys prey on the elderly and woman, totally unfair and should loose their license to service our community.....

Unbelievable lack of ethics. Miguel offered to fix the chain to the flapper that came off the lever for $288. $4 part. He said ""They're a business and deserve to make a profit""I would run from these guys!

true story sarah was so helpful and john really went out of his way to help us we had a serious sink leak and they arrived on time in fact much sooner and it was fixed in 25 min we will call them again bravo ars thank you for caring about people

I am livid right now! Have a leak on the tankless water heater. We called around 1:00 and the representative confirmed someone who was certified to work on tankless water heaters would be here between 4-7 and would work with our home warranty company. They did call to say they would be late and showed up around 8:00. First the technician said they could not work on it because they didn't install it, but could sell us a new one. I showed him a receipt for $1400 where their company reinstalled it 4 years ago because the tech refused to work on it because it was ""not up to code"" (too close to the wall). He quickly shined his light on the receipt and said he was going to take pictures and get someone here to work on it. Sorry.....I thought that's what he was here for!!!! I shared what was told to us when we set the appointment and he said he was only the night supervisor and couldn't work on it, there was no way anyone could repair it tonight since parts would need to be ordered. This company used to be good. The last few visits they did nothing but try to up sell and after tonight IM DONE.

I'm a real estate broker who has been in business in San Diego since 2006. I always strive to have a great pool of different tradespeople available to recommend to my clients. People who are honest, ethical and care about the best interests of my clients, rather than themselves. I learned that a friend of mine had their Air Conditioning break at their rented condo. They called their landlord who asked them to arrange a quote. ARS was the company who came to take a look, after my friend contacted The Home Depot looking for a referral. ARS said there was ""an electrical problem"" and the entire unit needed to be replaced. They quoted tiered costs of $12,000, $16,000 and $19,000, depending on the quality and volume of the unit being purchased. I should also add that my friend is a woman and it seems very possible, though I can't know with certainty that a male rep from ARS was seeking to take advantage of her financially. Anyhow, the landlord, like many people couldn't afford those prices. My friend obviously wasn't going to pay that amount to replace an air-conditioning unit at a property she didn't own. I referred her to my best AC vendor. He's a nice man, he is scrupulously honest and is hardwired to innately look out for the interests of others rather than himself. He came out to inspect the situation and found that a transformer had gone bad. He replaced it for $180, and now the system works great, just as it did previously. That's a savings of up to $18,820 or over 99.4%! ARS is either incompetent or predatory and neither of those are acceptable. Now, you're well-informed. Isn't that awesome? Oh, and if you want a real estate broker cut from the same cloth as my air-conditioning guy, just Google my name and add the words San Diego Real Estate. But the very primary purpose of this review is to call out ARS. What they tried to do was shameful.

Don't bother. We made an HVAC appointment with them a week in advance. They called on the DAY OF the appointment - an hour AFTER they were scheduled to arrive - to ""reschedule"" for the following week! When I told them how unprofessional this was and how I had rearranged my schedule for this, they transferred me to a supervisor who started with, ""what had happened was..."" Needless to say, I cancelled altogether. To the company: DONT @ me.

I am only giving 3 stars because problem was not solved, my air conditioner was leaking and Justin came and vacuumed and cleaned drain, he was very professional and hard working gentleman, he tried everything and since the original AC was 10 yrs old and we had huge water damage, he cold not find out where the water is still leaking. I truly appreciate his patient. We have to wait and figure out what we have to do but he did his best, i am hoping to find another company to fix it.
