They wanted to charge me 2200 bucks for a clogged sink gave me a whole rundown of how they need to cut the drywall and there drain snake will damage the pipes told those assholes to kick rocks got another company they did it for 40 bucks.

Came out to look at clogged drain and said it would be 475 bucks for basic snake service. Same job was 200 bucks elsewhere. Save your money.

They are not as good or knowledgable as they claim. We had stopped toilets on a Sunday with 22 guests coming over. They were the first to respond and show up. Sorry that I had not read the reviews or I NEVER would have had them. After snaking for over an hour, no success. Next day, Monday, they tried high pressure water, again it failed. Then someone with a camera found something, just it was not the problem nor in the area claimed. They then dug up HUGE area, killed bushes, and were 3 feet off from the real problem. The worker, Ruben,did a great job considering he was in wrong area.
Finally got fixed, though I did not know that I had signed disclaimer to not withdraw or cancel within 3 days, they totally misrepresented that.
Finally working though way over priced and over charged. Over charged and under performed!

Had an appointment with them from 12-4pm. I called to confirm if they were coming. Rep says they'll be here. It's 6:15 pm. They never called nor showed up. Will not use them ever. Sorry not sorry.

Charged $99.00 for a quote which was $2,000.00 higher than the company I used. When asked if they would refund me as I'm a senior on a fixed income but they refused.

They bought the company that installed my HVAC and have been hounding me with calls to service my hvac. 7 calls and voicemail messages, daily. Terrible plan for retaining new customers.

I contacted ARS/Rescue Rooter/Tarpy Plumbing to set up an annual maintenance plan for my furnace, A/C unit, and water heater. I was previously on such a plan and was glad for it. Technician Delon Jato arrived on time and examined the furnace, finding a couple of concerns which he addressed in a careful explanation of recommended services. He explained the concerns very well, and showed me photos of the relevant parts of the furnace. He was friendly and business-like throughout the contact, and his explanations were excellent and left me with no doubts about the work that was needed. I signed on for the annual plan and approved and purchased the supplemental work. I could not have been happier with the result.

I am very disappointed with this company. I called for a drain clear with the free camera inspection as advertised on tv for $99. I have used this promo twice before and did not have any trouble. They cleared the clog then another guy showed up with the camera and showed me the inspection. Both times were $99, as advertised. This time they gave me an appt window between 12-4p. At 3p I called to make sure they were still coming. The gal said a tech or dispatch would call me quickly with the eta. At 3:48 Anthony from dispatch calls and says the tech is finishing a job in poway and would be leaving for Ramona in 20 minutes. That would put him close to one hour late. I was irritated. I asked Anthony if the tech had the camera. He said he did not and the camera inspections have a cost to them. I mentioned the tv commercial with the free camera inspection and he said that is only if they need to the camera to clear the clog. I tried to tell him the main reason I went with them was the free camera inspection. I could barely get a sentence out and he talked over me telling me to read the fine print. I got irritated and told him ""to go ahead and talk over me ...FXcker"". I didnt mean for him to hear me but he did. I apologized and he continued to tell me the fine print is what they go with. I cancelled the service. Twice before, camera free, no problem. Now Anthony must be paying for the service himself. Beware of this company, obviously deception is their game.

Damn I should of read the reviews prior to hiring this company. Lesson learned. I'm very aware that every time you hire a company like this you're getting over priced..... but when you have a leak you want to get professionals to inspect and if they find the problem to fix it and do the job right. The plumber that came was nice did the job he quoted $800 after a few ""discounts "" (again we were aware it was over priced) we agreed. He replaced 2 parts in tub; bottom faucet and tub drain.
There was a hole and they needed to be replaced. That's the only issue that he could see that could be causing the leak.
He did it in less than 2 hours. We checked the parts; Plastic cheapest crap $60 worth.
Our original ones were actual metal decent quality. So $800.... that's all the receipt stated. So when I called to request a breakdown on the work done, parts, labor.... I was told that they only give flat rates no breakdown and that I had signed on that.... so yes I didn't read every single thing nor the fine print. I was a bit upset.... the ""Nice"" lady on the phone said ""Next time read what you signed "" .... Actually good advice, the only good thing out of this. Got ripped off, $800 for $60 parts. Unfortunately the problem wasn't fix.
Lesson learned, Never hiring this company again.

Just got a letter that ARS/Rescue Rooter is who has been in charge of Tarpy for almost a year. So I wanted to make sure this review was seen here too.

Used Tarpy, Now ARS/Rescue Rooter, to install my Condenser and HVAC system at my house a couple years ago. At the time I requested what it would cost to move the condenser so I could have the concrete redone. The tech assured me it would be only $350 to do that when I was ready. Since it was a couple years I expected it to be a little more so I was fine with that. They said it was $129 to come out and move over the phone, which I knew couldn't be right but continued. They missed both windows they gave 10-1 and 1-4 and arrived just after 4:00. The tech said it would be a little more as it was 2 trips and they were storing at my house. So I asked him to get me the proposal so we could get going. He worked on it and came back at $6,800 for the moving of the condenser! My condenser cost just less than that new! I was clearly not moving forward at that point so asked he to take off. I am posting this so anyone looking knows to be weary of the promises from the technicians as this wasn't even close and in fact was out right robbery. Bummed I even gave them the business in the first place now.
