It is incredible that this company is still in business. We have had the same bad experience with this company that everybody else who has given it a low rating. They schedule, then don't show up; when you call to hear to fix the situation, they are immediately defensive and rude, definitely not a 'the customer is always right' company. They send the wrong people for the job so it has to be rescheduled with someone who can do it and then the same person shows up the next time! and yet again you have to wait for the right one. In our case we needed a new toilet installed and in the end the guy who 'fixed' it broke the flange and didn't place the vax gasket properly. Needles to say the newly installed toilet began to leak in a few days and we had a different plummer fix it documenting his findings by photos. We contacted the Home Depot through whom we had contracted with these guys and they forwarded the complain to the company. Since they could not argue against the photo documention they offered us a refund if we signed off our right to speak up against them. We didn't because because this in any possible way irresponsible company should be out of business. At the time of this writing I don't know if the Home Depot has broken their ties with them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, IT IS INCOMPETENT AND CROOKED.

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were the worst company to deal with. They have been to our house 4 out of the 8 times they said. Always cancel on us and still have not finished the issue. I think the ladies name is Cassie who is a manager. She was so rude to us. We are getting another company to come out and fix the issue and the 12 inch hole we have now. Please never use them.

Note a good experience. Recommended by my home warranty company, American Home Shield. With the portion AHS paid and my portion, they tried to get away with charging me $2700 for a 50 gallons gas water heater. Calls to the Marietta office got me nowhere. I also sent a certified letter. Still no response. Then I called the corporate office and spoke with Ms. Mc Gregory. Initially she called Cassie, the manager at the Marietta branch. She later tried to tell me that the prices were in line with the work done. I faxed her copy of the letter I sent the Marietta branch outlining the over exaggerated price for parts and installation showing prices from Hone Depot and Apex Plumbing. Twice I was charged for parts that came with the water heater. She called again and said that Cassie would give me a 15% customer satisfaction discount. I refused and told her I was contacting the Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs. The attitude changed immediately. I was then quoted a money back guarantee that if I were not satisfied. ARS would send a tech to uninstall and they would give me a complete refund. I told them to come get it. Ms. Gregory made another call to ARS-Marietta. All of a sudden they could and refunded my credit card $765. Beware. Know the usual and customary cost of any services they provide. Make them quote you an overall cost for the job. They came out to look at my furnace. Said basically that it was not reparable and that I needed a new furnace. When I said I would check around they said that if they could find a control board that might help for now. The technician Tobias was twenty or so minutes in his truck before coming back to the door to tell me he had found one one and could install it it for $970.00 that it would work for awhile but I would still need a new furnace. With the help of my son we found a local heating and plumbing company who had the board in stock, came out the next day and installed it for $400. And said my furnace was fine. I cannot begin to tell you my relief. I would never do business with ARS Rooter again.

My experience with this company has been nothing short of awesome. The tech who came to my house name is Robert. What an AMAZING bright young man, he is, very RESPECTABLE, smart, and very handsome if I may add lol. He was also really friendly he smiled the entire time he was there I told him """"I can tell you like what you do"""" He educated me well on how to maintain my household plumbing and things I need to do starting from the septic tank... These people are the most ridiculous and unprofessional group of morons I've ever encountered. I had an appt for 1-6. I sat at home as I work 1 hour away and can't get home in the 30-45 minutes they give you before they arrive. I got a call at 4:02, and returned the call at 4:12, and sat on hold for 5 minutes. The ignorant woman on the line informed me that they would not be coming again, as I missed their call. I explained to her, I called back in 10 minutes. I have other responsibilities than sitting on the phone. I also informed this woman how this was not explained before hand. They took their $75 fee for my home warranty deductible and now they are just full of ****. So, if you don't hear your phone ringing, you will not be serviced and they will tell you they are moving on to another client and will not put you back on the list today. The lady was soooooo nonchalant. I should have known, because while I was on """"hold"""" I heard another woman in the background telling people how their plumber was coming today either. These people are the worst. I shouldn't have trust the home warranty group's recommendation. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS TACKY, UNRELIABLE, NONCHALANT """"business"""". Run, don't walk, run in the other direction. Your money has more worth than what you will get from this """"business"""".

Not long after I published my review, ARS replied and asked me to contact them so they could """"address this situation further"""". I did. They didn't. It's been two weeks with no response. As you probably already guessed, they only put those """"please contact us so we can resolve this"""" responses to try to make themselves look like they care. They don't. Please avoid them.

Can't comment on their work, because no one would every show up. I had an 8 - 12 o'clock appointment scheduled. At 12 I called asking about their arrival. They said their technicians were currently unavailable, but someone would come out as soon as possible. A few hours late I received a call to reschedule, because they could not fulfill their schedule. I was told I was to be the first call when they came back out. Fast forward to the second day I cleared my schedule for them. I called multiple times throughout the morning asking what time someone would show up. The third time I called was at 11, and they could still not tell me when because none of their technicians would pick up the phone for them. Two days wasted waiting on them, and no one ever showed up.
