HVAC tech did not show on appointment date. Customer service did not care. I would not recommend this company.

Joe at Rescue Rooter installed two toilets and was very nice. He looked at some other things in the house plumbing related and offered advice. He went above and beyond what he was there to do. It's hard to find people that are willing to go above what they are being paid for. He had to cut the tanks off the toilets because they were so old they had rusted. It took extra time and he had a great attitude about it and a great sense of humor. I will be calling him when I need a plumber with personality skill and persistence!

I, like other reviewers, wish it could be zero stars. Not a single person was rude to me. However, no one cared either. I was referred by our home warranty company. I think b/c this is a guaranteed appointment and service fee they don't offer the same customer service they would if they had to earn your business. They told me they could fit me into the early part of their guaranteed window and it wouldn't be a problem. When it was I was told that wasn't their policy and no one would have told me that. Needing to reschedule put me waiting 5 more days for someone to fix our leaks. Then b/c we didn't catch their call - the first time - they canelled our guaranteed appointment window. Now I can reschedule again (no way) or wait another 5 hours, they might get to me sometime today. I was never, ever, informed of that policy either. Both an associate and the supervisor said that everyone in the office knows that and it is their policy to tell everyone that when the appointment is made. Nope!!! I would never willingly hire this company and I will never recommend to anyone.

Referred to ARS by our home warranty company. Experienced scheduling misunderstandings and then our claim was denied because the tech indicated the part broken was due to misuse/physical damage of a part in our toilet that they indicated would be """"very, very hard to break"""". I asserted I knew it was due to normal use and we didn't break it. ARS provided a quote to replace the part for $230. I declined replacement outside of the warranty but they did get the $75 deductible for the very short visit since it was through the home warranty, and I still have an inoperable toilet. Later in the day, I called the manufacturer of the toilet (Flushmate). They cover the part for free and they are shipping it to me complementary. There are simple directions to repair ourselves. Update- we installed the part that Flushmate sent us at no charge. It took very little time for us to install it and the toilet worked well, even after being tested during an event of 40+ people at our home.

I had two furnaces fitted two year ago the guy did a great job, I decided to have a contract with them maintenance contract with them they always reschedule the appointments now this is the fourth time they have rescheduled my appointment,I wish I would have gone with another company.....

Shane did a fabulous job in replacing defective water line components and re-routing approximately 15 feet of gas line and connecting to an outdoor grill. He spent a good portion of the day completing these jobs, checked in with us appropriately and explained what he was doing as he went. He completed both jobs with great attention to detail and exceptional professionalism. Once completed, he conducted a thorough walk through and answered all questions. 5 stars well deserved!

Exceptiohnal service from Shane C. today replacing my water heater. He was punctual, thorough, professional, knowleageable and went above and beyond by ensuring that I understood all of the steps to the process and what caused my damage, which he was not required to do. Very pleasant attitude and I could not be more pleased. Will specifically request ARS and Shane through my warranty service in the future. Thanks, Shane!

I am very pleased with the service Kevin provided. I had an issue with my shower, the water would not turn off. He investigated the issue and determined I needed a part, however once he reviewed the issue further a new part was not needed, only some adjustment. He was professional and very knowledgeable. I was concerned the problem may occur again, however he answered all my questions. I would definitely request Kevin again for servicing.

Kevin was the consummate professional. He was thorough and timely. I had an issue with the heating elements in my hot water unit and Kevin, replaced the bad one and in a move to be more proactive and save money, he replaced both. That is the most trustworthy action that I've encounter with any contractor ever, in my home. Kevin was AWESOME.. Thank you Rescue Rooter for sending Kevin to my home.

I have to second the other review 0 stars is not an option, these guys are crooks and want to deal the insurance companies only. I would never recommend for anyone to call these guys. The 'owner' came out to our service call and was manipulative and dishonest. STAY AWAY - you have been warned
