They came out to replace a sump pump (I had the replacement pump). They charged $109 to give me an estimate of $500 to replace it. They agreed it was less than a 1 hour job so their rate is $500/hour!!! I paid the $109 and didn't have them do the job.

Plumbers did not follow written instructions from their co-worker and did not clean and prep the area prior to performing hot work and started a fire in our home. I'll update this review for better or worse once the insurance claim is complete and our home is repaired.

Was prompt in responding and thorough in all the work they did. Got us up and running quickly as we moved to Peoria about a month ago. Might be a bit pricey, but we felt we got good value for the money we spent. Have them coming back to do additional work this week. Also communication was excellent from beginning to end! Very satisfied!

I needed some plumbing work in the middle of a big, stressful move and this company took a big weight off my shoulders. The service while scheduling ( it was no problem to do the work on short notice) was excellent and the plumber, Robert, also provided top notch service. Robert arrived -on time- was not only very knowledgable but very polite and pleasant to deal with. He showed me diagrams and explained options and the did the job quickly with no fuss.
I'm taking the time to write this review because I
wasted TWO WEEKS on HomeAdvisor and Angie's List waiting just to get a call or email from plumbers they picked. No one called I dug deeper into reviews and saw lots of complaints about plumbers not showing for appointments etc.
I am extremely happy with the excellent, professional service I received from Arnold Plumbing, Robert, the customer service department and will call them first in the future.

I called for a leaky appliance. The office was very pleasant and professional on the phone and scheduled a plumber for the following day. He came an hour before the 2 hour window they scheduled which was fine. He was also very pleasant and professional. I asked about a leaky faucet and a toilet that continually runs and they wanted an add'l $237 for each of those jobs so I passed. Unfortunately the job they performed was not completed and the next day we had water all over the kitchen floor from the same leaky appliance that the plumber worked on. Again, the office was very pleasant and professional and had the same plumber out the next day. He was an hour early before his scheduled window again and fixed the leak. They had already cashed out check from the previous day's visit. The appliance stopped working and he offered a full refund for our troubles or the option of half a refund now and we could pay the other half if we called them to install a new appliance when we bought one-I thought that was very nice and agreed. I sent an email to the office person that I spoke with the previous two times and she confirmed that a refund would be sent. A few days went by and then one of the owners called and yelled at me for about 15 minutes telling me neither the plumber or office manager had the authority to have refunds sent. He said he would talk to the plumber and confirm that the plumber committed to the refund and call me back that afternoon. He never did, and the office did not reply to 3 follow up emails. I would have called them for installation of the new appliance or any other future plumbing work if I needed it but after unprofessional treatment from one of the owners and lack of response I cannot recommend them.

On the surface, they provide good customer service. I called at 8:00AM and had someone out that afternoon. However, for a simple clogged kitchen sink where they snaked it out they charged $371 for less than an hour's worth of work. To me, this is unacceptable. Of course, my wife was the one home instead of me, so she wrote them a check for it, but it's safe to say I will find another plumbing service in the future. I did call to inquire about what I felt was an excessive charge but never received the promised callback from the Service Manager. Other reviewers on other sites have also commented on what they believe to be exorbitant charges for reasonably simple tasks, so I know this situation is not unique to me.

Pretty incredible company from the first call to the repair. I had a major leak from an upstairs bathroom and they came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The prices are fair and the customer service and crews are A++++. I can't say enough good things about their business model other than if I owned a business, I would hope to be this good!

Please, if you can't provide 24/7 service, don't advertise that way to give false hope. I called the answering service last night at 11:00 and it is 7:24, still nothing.

Horrible customer service! I called because the igniter on my water heater was broken. The pilot went out and I didn't want to attempt lighting it by hand. The technician was polite. But he told me they didn't have igniter parts. He said the water heater was shot and I needed to pay $1300 to replace it. When I asked if he could light it by hand he asked me if I had a long lighter. I did not. So I paid $89 for him to leave. I then called and spoke to a manager who got defensive with me before I even told her why I was calling. Horrible experience! They said that they would give me half of my fee back after arguing with me for 15 minutes. We'll see. Overall I would never use or recommend this company to anyone.
