I wish there was a less than Start to rate!
A vicious woman answers phones, and set appointments. She is a Liar. She insults you. Extremely bad company that can really waste your time.
Unfortunately I was referred to Ark Plumbing by my home warrant, where Ark has a chance to get customers, otherwise nobody should use their service based on what people report on Yelp!
This is a wrong Company and I have advised my home warranty against them.

My home warranty company connected me with this plumbing company and the technician came out and placed a temporary patch on the pin hole in the copper pipe in my ceiling and explained he needed further approval to proceed with the repair. He was on time and friendly. Several days later I received an email from my home warranty company stating I would have out of pocket expenses for the repair for several hundred dollars. When I contacted the plumber I spoke with Alana Montgomery, who stated she is the owner. I have had numerous pin hole leaks in the past repaired by other plumbing companies under my other home warranty company and never had an out of pocket. Alana told me that in order to bring my pipe to ""code"" it was necessary to use a specific material that would not be covered, a flexible pipe and that utilizing a segment of copper with connectors was an incorrect way to repair the leak and if a prior plumber repaired my pipe this way in the past they were doing me a dis-service. Also, if I wanted copper used they would have to replace the entire pipe, this has never been done before with prior repairs. After doing some digging with other plumbers I found out this is incorrect. I called back and requested an email of the ""Code"" as well as what she sent to my warranty company. She refused and then changed her story about it being a requirement of code. She was rude and off putting and we felt like we were being taken advantage of. I would not use this company, please read the other reviews. I will be notifying my home warranty company that this company is terrible and to remove them from their roster if possible.

stay away from this place, i dont think it's even a plumbing company, more like a kids daycare if you ask me. waste of time calling them. if you want your plumbing issue done right, then do not call Ark. i had to call my home warranty to get me another company to come fix the issue. dont know how Ark stays in business.

The worst, rude, unprofessional plumbing company ever.

And will explain why:

1. First time called and lady on the phone was not the most pleasant person over the phone. Not accommodating and not understanding that I have a plumbing emergency.

2. The appointment was scheduled from 10-11 for the technician arrival time. At 11.15 she called and said that technician arrived. They never send a follow up text or email or call that technician is on his way. And you need to seat a home waiting if someone will knock the door without notifying the ETA.

3. Asked her if the tech can wait 10 min because left to pick up the kids. The lady in a rude way said that if in a 5 min you are not there he will leave.

It is their fault that tech is late and did not want to wait 10 min.

Horrible company and unreliable, stay away from them if possible.

Beware! I had my day re arranged for them to come out. They cancelled last minute after the window of arrival. They re scheduled and when they were supposed to come out they called that they would be there within minutes. I told them I asked for a 30 minute notice that I never got. So I had just stepped out and told them my wife was only 10 minutes away but they said they will not come out. This was way within the window of service yet they refused to show up. To make it even worse they said they would have to charge me again to come out forgetting they canceled on me first. Called and emailed but no answer. Yelp reviews show the true colors. Please read it before hiring them.

Worst service I've ever had, if I could give them 0 stars I would. Spoke to Elana who happens to be the manager there and she was very rude and unprofessional. Was told she closed out my claim after calling ""numerous times"" and speaking to a ""young lady,"" however I did not see any missing phone calls ""numerous times"" from their company and do not recall speaking to her at all. Also why would they close out my claim without making sure everything was fixed? They cut open my wall to see the issue and that was still not fixed, so why would they think not to send anyone out? My insurance also said that the claim was still open on their end so they were confused why they closed out their claim. Speaking to them was very frustrating, luckily my insurance was able to find me another technician. I would recommend you do the same. Avoid this company at all costs!!!

An appt was set 3 days prior with a 7-11am window. I received a call at 10:40 am the day of and a woman asked if I still wanted a tech to come by? I said I've been ready since 7 this morning. She claimed a phone message was left yesterday to confirm ""tentative"" appointment. No message was left. I do not recommend

Unfortunately we had a leak where the location was unknown. We went through our Home Warranty company (First American) and the first plumbing company they sent out did not have the tools to detect where the leak was originating from (but confirmed that there was indeed a leak coming from within our Home). I then requested to have ARK Plumbing come out (as they had serviced us several years ago...exceptional all around at the time) to diagnose and address our issue. John initially came out and spent a good deal of time trying to pinpoint the origin of the leak which he did. Next came Juan and Salvatore who worked great as a Team fixing our garage slab leak. The work they did was outstanding (re-piped in copper), they left the areas cleaned including hosing down our driveway from where they worked from. Elana was informative and coordinated our warranty work well. In the end she also knocked down the cost because her guys did the work in less time than anticipated and the scope of the fix was also reduced from what was estimated. I can only speak from our experience with ARK Plumbing over two significant services in the last several years...Exceptional! It is unfortunate to see other less-favorable reviews here, but for me I would not hesitate to call ARK Plumbing back once again (hopefully not soon!).
