The worst plumbing company we've had to deal with. Scheduling issues, they aren't available after 2 for working people. They take a very long time to complete job and they cancel in you last minute. This has happened several times. Dispatch doesn't seem to care much either. Give you money and job to someone else.

Awful company. Total rip off. Do not use. They don't leave messages or give updates upon arrival.
After two weeks they show up and the technician states he needed to put claim. Mind you technician was nice and friendly. Never gave me a report after the sink was seen, never had me sign anything. Just stated needed to replace something and would put in a claim. So I trusted that.

When I called to get an update front desk person of ARK states the report states everything in my sink was working fine. Insane right?!

Couple things: my sink drain is broken. I never received any report after I saw the technician and never signed anything. Just trusted his word of putting in a claim to fix the sink.

Whoever answered the phone is rude. Hung up on me when I asked for her name and the technician name.

This company is a joke. Unprofessional and the technician comes in for two minutes and didn't fix anything.

I am trying to calm myself from the terrible experience I had with this company so far. and they haven't even serviced yet. Called yesterday and easily made appt. 9-10a, cool, I know the deal with contractors., never on time, okie dokie, I'm patient and kind. My one year old is in a terrible state, I rushed home from dropping of my toddler at school, and then waited. Baby needed to sleep, his crib is in the room that needed fixing and so I kept him up. It's almost 10 and no word. I walk the baby around the front complex in the stroller. I receive a call after ten and start rushing back to the house. My partner said they were there and I said tell them Ill be right there. I get there and nobody. its 10:08. I called dispatch and this is the fun part. She proceeded to tell me that my partner said no one was home, no one answered the door, they called everyone on the lease list (me last, even thought I made the appt.) and she said sorry, they left, and it's our fault for not being home. I said, but you showed up late, she said for a 9-10 appt, 10ish isn't late. She then proceeded to talk over me, start raising her voice, and cutting me off, even though I was telling her that calmly that that isn't ok to show up last minute and not wait a sec when we also have valuable time and lives. She then lied to me about all the things my partner had in fact told her, ""she will be right there, hold on a sec, please don't leave!"" she told me, had he said those things, she would have had him stay and they aren't mind readers. My partner told me that she hung up on him twice and was also atrocious to him as well while he was talking, same behavior, raising voice, blaming, hanging up, rude words, told him that they were out of there and they would not wait a sec. This lady was out of control. I am a social worker, and I get drug through the mud by people ten times worse because we aren't helping them in their opinion, we are in there way, and I WOULD NEVER TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY. Take responsibility for your own actions and treat people with respect. But like most businesses, they just wanted our money, and she said I could call to reschedule after they charged us a no show fee first. Oh, so that's what you wanted, my money for no work, because I was outside for a minute trying to calm my baby down after I kept him up for you guys to do your work in the room. awesome. I hope this business closes and she has a lot of issues that result in her seeing that she needs to change her life around. I get service work is hard and people undervalue your time, but I wasn't one of those people, I'm just a thinly spread woman trying to meet everyone's needs too in my day, and you really need to have more compassion in your heart for people and how you talk to them. I'm sure your swiss cheese house of lies feels safe, but it isn't, and it will fall down, no matter how many times you try to fill the holes people poke in your lies and hard heart. People aren't being rude and undervaluing your time because we aren't glued to our phones, we do have lives outside of waiting for plumbers no matter how much we want to be polite and on call, we are wiping butts and tears and putting out our own fires by the moment. I wish we could charge you guys a fee for every time you didn't fulfill your promises to customers.

Absolute garbage company. Been fighting with my home warranty company for months to mark their service as not completed (yes, it's First American Home Warranty). They will not call ahead when they are on the way, so plan on staying home and they pack as many service calls into a single day as they can. I ended up just paying out of pocket to get a plumber to come fix the water heater since the pilot light was out for 6 days and we were at our wits end. Their customer service is 0/5, no question in my mind. I can't imagine they would still be in business if not for FAHW sending their customers here.
I ended up troubleshooting the problem myself, having the manufacturer send me a new piezo igniter assembly, and having someone just come and install it.

Would not recommend, just simply needed my kitchen sink unclogged. After rescheduling our first appointment, their plumber showed up late to the second one. He tried to snake under the sink but was unable to unclog. Next access point would be in our carport, other plumbers have successfully used this access point to unclog before. They just wanted to upsell and install a new access point to make more $$. Honestly, I would not have chosen them, but that's who my warranty company sent. Total waste of a service call fee and 1 weeks time and the sink is still clogged.

Be warned! Do not shop here. This company is a fraud and a joke. The owner does not care much about its customers and is very rude. I wasted almost two weeks and now have to seek a new company to repair my shower. I cannot believe this company has a license to operate. Dont be a victim!

I totally can relate to all the HORRIBLE reviews this company has! I was so leery having to use them through my Home warranty contract in the first place after reading all the negative experiences customers had with them. But because I was having an immediate issue with getting a leak in my children's bathtub resolved I went ahead and scheduled with them. It took almost a week for the technician to come out. His personality sucked, and had that attitude that he hated his job. I explained the issue, he looks in the access door and moves a pipe around. Then says ""well that broke right off so don't use the tub! It would've probably broke anyway."" Then tells me they'll have to cut the ceiling away from the bathroom below to access it. I asked him how long before I would hear back and he says he would submit the claim before he even leaves the driveway. So this is a Tuesday, Friday comes around and I call them. They say they haven't heard back from the warranty company but will let me know when they do. So I call the warranty company. They said they barely got the claim 20 minutes prior! Probably right after they hung up the phone with me. So the warranty company reviews it and says there is a $500 out of pocket for expanding and rerouting a pipe and that's not covered under the contract. So I call ARK plumbing and ask what everything is that they are doing. And I also asked about the pipe the tech broke. And then I asked if this included the initial service fee. I was told that she would reach out to the tech and get back to me. Nobody ever called. So I call back after the weekend and the lady on the phone is rude when I told her that nobody ever called me back. She says what do you need to know? So I ask everything again. She puts me on hold and then comes back and says that yes everything is included. She said that the pipe and drain had to be expanded and rerouted. At this point, I need the bathtub back working for my kids. So I schedule. The technician comes out and does the job in half the time as quoted without having to cut into the ceiling and working from below, which the initial guy said would have to be done and would be a nightmare. The access door is literally 18"" square so it's not like he would have had much room to go in and do some crazy rerouting of the pipe, so I really think they were just trying to make it sound like a bigger job than it was. He also said there was a loose gasket that he tightened. That technician was very nice but the rest of the company really lack customer service. Now, months later I get an invoice from the warranty company saying that I owe the service fee because the plumbers did not collect it. And I called ARK right away and the lady says there was no way that I was told that the fee was included. I asked twice! I was told they would find out about all the questions I had and have someone call me back, which they never did. They dropped the ball and didn't even submit the claim when the tech said he would do it ""before he left my driveway!"" So obviously their word doesn't mean much. And when I also brought up the fact that her technician broke the pipe and I had to pay to have it fixed, she just shrugged me off that it probably was old. And I also told her that not only did I have to pay all this money out of pocket for an issue her tech probably created or potentially made worse, but the ceiling didn't need to be cut and the job ended up being a lot less invasive than previously thought. But I still paid the same amount even though the job was less complicated and didn't complain then. But really I felt I should have. Why not pass the savings of the costs of labor on to your customers? Because they lack customer service. So when I mentioned this on the phone right now she laughs and says it's a set price for a job even if it's less work. Sure it makes sense, but to me, not having to cut into a ceiling and getting the job done in half the time would be a bit of a different story. And she insists that I was never told that the service fee was included. When I spoke to them back in April, the girl was clearly all over the place because she didn't know what was going on, told me I'd get a call back, and I never did and then still didn't have any answers when I had to follow up!
Now I have to pay out even MORE money because it's not their protocol to collect the service fee (this is what she said, even though I was told differently and the warranty company also said I could pay it with them because I didn't have a credit card on me when initially filing the claim). I didn't renew my contract with First American Home warranty company based solely on my experience with ARK Plumbing. If they would be the only company able to service my plumbing issues than it totally wouldn't be worth it for me!

PLEASE, look at all the negative reviews for Ark Plumbing. I've read many and had the same experience. One of the most unprofessional business I have ever worked with. Left me without hot water and new water heater for over 45 days and they could quite frankly care less. This was a First American referral and like the other reviews indicate, must be the only way they are staying in business. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Thank you ARK! I had a nightmare of an experience trying to make a home warranty claim after discovering a leak at my home only a few weeks after purchasing it. ARK was the second contractor to come out after the first refused to complete the work. ARK was able to assess the issue and fix it in no time at all. I really appreciate the extra effort and time ARK took to make it happen. I will use them again.
