Although we remain known for our wide range of repair parts and faucets, we have broadened our offerings to encompass HVAC components and services, sewer and rooter solutions, plumbing and heating installations, appliance parts and repairs, in-store repair services, hardware, lawn and garden supplies, electrical products, and an impressive plumbing and heating showroom.

Aranda's serves as Santa Fe's ultimate one-stop shop for plumbing and heating supplies. NEVER have these guys work on your plumbing. I was charged $393 to unplug my toilet. And doing his ""work"" the plumber messed up the line to my kitchen sink. This was confirmed by another plumber who charged me $100 to fix the plugged line most likely caused by Hawk Mechanical.

We made an offer on a house and had some concerns about the radiant heating system. We called Hawk Mechanical to inspect it. They were 3 hours late in showing up for the inspection, but it was well worth the wait! Richard showed up and did a thorough inspection and test of the system. He patiently explained everything to us. And he suggested ways the system could be improved. I would definitely use these guys again.

Excellent service and superior knowledge of radiant floor heating systems. We supposedly had our boiler properly adjusted when we switched from propane to natural gas. Not only were the settings wrong, but dangerously so. Recommend these guys as they do the job right the first time.

I had a broken water pipe under my house. I called at 8:20 am thursday morning and was told a man would come that afternoon. NO SHOW, NO CALL. I called 8:00 am Friday morning. I was told that they had forgot to tell me their men were out on a large job the day before, but the office lady spoke with her serviceman, Julian, and he would definitely be out in the afternoon. Well, it's 5:15 pm on Friday evening and again, NO SHOW, NO CALL. I double checked my cell # with them so I would not be missed. I am appalled that they never even bothered to call and tell me they were not showing, again. So disappointed in this company and their lack of professionalism. I gave a second chance and they even flaked on that one. Would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Hawk Mechanical has worked on my boiler a couple of times for different reasons. The diagnosis of both problems were accurate and reasonable. Their response was quick. While not cheap (what tradesman is) the cost was fair and inline with my experience as a Registered Professional Engineer overseeing this type of work at large industrial facility. I highly recommend them

These guys are total scam artists , I called for a service call to fix a broken pipe and got a bill for over 2k a few weeks later. When i questioned the bill they threatened to put a lien on my property if I didn't pay it . When i asked what they did for over 2k they said it was a minimal repair with a 30 day warranty. Watch out !!!!!

I wish I could give these a-holes negative stars. Terrible. Had to deal with them on behalf of my landlord once. Water heater (which is also the source of heat for the house) was broken and after waiting on parts, not getting called back, it took TWO FULL WEEKS to get the heat back on in the dead of winter... and this was after being promised it would be repaired in 3-4 days. In fairness, the technicians were very nice, but office staff, especially the woman answering the phone and the owner were extremely rude, callous, and the OWNER actually yelled at AND HUNG UP ON my landlord because she (the landlord) was sick of waiting for them to call her back, and said something about it. Plenty of other games in town, so make these clowns your last choice.

We live in Santa Fe and have used Universal for a number of years. It is a high end home with with our own water well and water purification system. Universal has always been prompt, professional and dependable when we call. I am super picky about maintenance and repairs and they have always been great. As for cost, you get what you pay for and it's really hard to find reliable and dependable people of any sort in Santa Fe.

Universal Plumbing has been my choice of plumbers for over 20 years. I live in Las Campanas and unfortunately I've met a lot of plumbers who are not very good plumbers and other plumbers who were very disappointing. Universal Plumbing always performs for me, on time, dependable, reliable and they price their work very fairly. I highly recommend them.

I have been using Universal plumbing for a number of years. I have been on the whole satisfied with their work. However, I have had to call back about pricing when an apprentice was sent out on two different occasions with Paul, and my bill increased commensurately (half as much again, bringing their hourly rate to $165) even though the same amount of work was done in the same amount of time as on previous occasions (without the apprentice).
Another time, Paul was fixing the plumbing inside the cistern and the cistern broke. It was not an old toilet. Universal wanted me to pay the full price for the replacement toilet. In the end after talking with them, I paid 50%.
I felt there was a hostile attitude on their part when I questioned the above issues. I felt I was being taken advantage of financially in these instances and told them so. They were not happy. Brenda accused me of being a complainer (not true) and suggested I take my business elsewhere in the future.
I think this was unnecessary and not good business practice on their part. I have always paid my bills immediately and recommended them to friends. It is my right, I think, to question them when I feel I am being unfairly charged. I did not expect this kind of treatment.
I will be happy to take my business elsewhere. Jill C.
