We were told by another company that we had a main water line break. Because the repair was going to be so expensive, we were in the process of gathering a few estimates of the cost to repair it.

Applewood wasn't the first company we called but they were the first that showed up. They were able to identify another possible reason for the increase in our water bill, made a simple adjustment, and told us to just watch and see what the next water bill amount is before we do any sewer line repairs. It's been over a month since the sewer inspection now, and we believe they were correct!

There are so many plumbing companies out there that would have taken advantage of our situation in order to get the job. But these guys were so professional and honest. We will recommend this company to everyone we know and we plan to use them in the future when we need plumbing services.

I had a Whirlpool water heater that was starting to leak - it was 4 1/2 years old (with a 9 year warranty). Given the cost of replacing it with a no-charge tank and its reputation I decided to get quotes on just installing a whole new water heater.

Brady from Applewood came out and checked the current water heater and gave me a quote. He explained the various brands of water heaters and their reputations and his recommendation. After some research I choose a Rheem and called Applewood back to setup the time for the install. They worked around my schedule, Brady showed up on time and installed my new water heater in just a few hours.

Brady replaced our very old garbage disposal. There were some issues with the pipe configuration, and he very efficiently and throughly repaired and replaced that as well.

There are so many good thing to list about Brady it's hard to choose just a few!! This is the second time we have used him; the first was to install a tankless water heater. He is courteous, friendly, prompt, fair and an overall pleasure to do business with. We finally feel like we have a plumber that we can trust.....I won't use anyone else. :)

Applewood first did a sewer inspection by running a camera down the main sewer line to street. Found many areas where roots were clogging and growing down my sewer pipe (clay pipe). The Technician (Brady) explained to me why we could not do pipe lining or pipe bursting due to ""bellies"" or sags in my pipe that ruled this procedure out. He also determined that we could just dig from the house to the sidewalk, instead of going all the way to the street which would cost quite a bit more. I did not have root issues in the street. He provided me with a DVD of his camera sewer inspection for any further review. This was on a Friday and Brady provided me with a formal quote first thing Monday morning. We scheduled the work to be done On that Friday. 

Applewood arrived as scheduled on Friday with impressive equipment and knowledgeable people. They took great care putting down many sheets of plywood on the yard so they would not make a huge mess with the dirt removed. The backhoe operator (I can't remember his name) ran that thing with surgical precision as I watched almost every dig with awe. These guys didn't waste any time and completed the sewer line repair in unreal time. THEY WORKED HARD AND SMART And were very polite. I would hire this company in a second. GREAT JOB!!

After taking a shower I noticed water was still dripping from the showerhead. After several failed attempts by myself to get the leaking to stop I finally shut off the water which had me in a panic since we have guests staying with us and we wanted to stay home in the a/c (out of the heat). Applewood Plumbing was the third plumber on my call list; the first two had no one to send out today for a service call and repair, and they both seemed unconcerned with the dilemma I was facing. Applewood Plumbing answered my questions and concerns professionally and said they could send a rep out within 30 mins. They called when they had a plumber in route to me, explained the work they were doing, showed me why the shower was leaking, and gave me an estimate of $185.00 for labor and parts (to replace the cartridge in shower handle). They cleaned up the area, turned the water back on, and went on their way. I highly recommend this company!

It worked out good. I was late coming home from work so the plumber actually showed up at my house before I got home and waited for me to get there, which I thought was pretty cool. Since my water heater was still under warranty, all I had to pay for was the labor on them installing the new one. I would use them again

Main water line was leaking into the house through the basement wall at the point where the line enters the house. Mark chipped the concrete from around the line where it enters the house. We discovered that the leak was located in the concrete wall. This was caused by prior failure to protect the copper tubing from contact with the concrete. The contact had caused failure of the copper through a chemical reaction between the concrete and the copper He did the copper repiping and replaced the damaged tubing. I ended up repairing the wall myself to save on some labor cost. The main water shut off valve was leaking and so he replaced that as well.

Applewood installed a tankless water heater for us over the weekend.  The plumber that came out was a cool dude. At first, they didn't have the water heater I wanted so he went out and looked for one. I thought the price was fair considering the price of the water heater and the installation as well as the warranty.
