After paying hundreds of dollars to a handyman and Sears (I will NEVER use Sears again), Tony and his brother just came in, got the job done and were upfront with the costs. Very impressed. I had a clogged garbage disposal and flushing issues upstairs. I called the night before, was able to get a morning appointment the next day, and they showed promptly. Of course the flushing issue seemed did not show up when they tested it. And they fixed the garbage disposal in about a minute. I felt pretty silly and they were nice enough to not charge me. Who does that in today's day in age. Very good people and they will be my first call the next time we have a plumbing issue.

Tony A. and Andy K. are awesome! ""Your plumbing experts"" indeed! Having a broken water heater and no warm/hot h2o for almost a week was a total nightmare.. Thankfully we found AK Plumbing through Lewis H.! Both Tony and Andy were personable, professional, and efficient. Prices are reasonable and their work is satisfactory! If services are needed again, AK Plumbing will be our first call.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would - they deserve it! Last Friday, I discovered a puddle of water on my kitchen floor and knew that I had a problem with my kitchen sink. I didn't want to deal with it right then, so even though I had company that weekend, we went without the use of the kitchen sink...thank goodness for understanding family members who didn't mind ""Glamping"" for a few days. On Monday morning, I pulled up Yelp! and did my research. I found AK Plumbing and gave them a call. They were perfectly willing to come out that day, but it wasn't convenient for me, so we set up an appointment for this morning at 9:00. Andy and Tony arrived on time, introducted themselves and were very cordial, yet professional. I explained the problem and made sure that they knew that water drained from the sink - no problem there, and I assumed that it there was something wrong with the water line. I just had a huge tree removed from my front yard because it broke the water main (TWICE) and I was a little concerned that this was somehow connected to that problem. I had visions of dollar signs swimming in my head...not pretty! They guys pulled the lower plate off the diswasher to check that area (no problems there) and also pulled out the spray nozzle on the faucet...culprit found! I knew the nozzle had a leak but I didn't associate what I thought was a slow lead with the puddle that was on my floor that Friday. They tightened a fitting on the nozzle and ...wala...problen solved! I was a little embarrased that the fix was so easy, and mad at myself for not trying to fix it myself. The most amazing thing is that these guys didn't even charge me for the visit...how often does that happen?? NEVER! I was fully prepared and offered to pay for a service call, but they refused to charge me anything. After my experience with the tree roots, I figured this little problem would set me back a nice chunk of change, and I can't tell you how pleasantly surprised I am that there was no charge at all. I'm going on a pricey vacation soon and I just knew that resolving this issue was going to cut into my Margarita budget! Tony and Andy refused payment but said I could toast them with a Margarita while I'm laying on the beach...consider it done, guys, and it will be my pleasure to do so!

I can't recommend these guys enough. It's so hard to find a good. HONEST plumber so I'm delighted to have these guys' business card in my rolodex. I've dealt with other plumbing companies in the past and felt like I was taken advantage of because I'm female and not quite as savvy on these things as a guy might be. I didn't feel like that with Andy and Tony at all. I completely trust them and they are now my ""go to"" guys for anything plumbing related...which will make my ""Honey Do"" guy, who inconveniently lives in Reno,quite happy!

Andy and Tony are the nicest guys. I needed my main line replaced. Not the cleanest job nor the easiest to crawl under my house. I called 1 other plumber but didn't hear back when I told them about the crawl space. Not all plumbers are created equal...These guys show up on time, no change orders, and do what they say they are going to do ON TIME. Plus they guarantee their work for a year! It feels good knowing I spent my hard earned money on two honest guys who do not use gimmicks or a sales pitch.

Andy and Tony installed a water heater for our condo. The first day they came we found out the plumbing store had sold us a unit that was not compatible with our gas lines. Andy and Tony came back the following day with a different water heater and redid the installation. They were very helpful and dealt with the plumbing store (Ferguson) for us. The two of them are honest people and experts at their job.

I needed a plumber to see if I could split a gas line for my dryer, and the dryer was going to be delivered within hours. These guys, though they had assessed it properly over the phone, drove all the way across town to confirm it. They educated me about how this stuff works, told me it could technically be done, but wouldn't be efficient or legal, and saved me tons of time and hassle. The charge - free. That's integrity. I hope I need a plumber in the future, Tony and Andy are getting my call.

I had a leak from upstairs that was making a wet spot and stain in my downstairs ceiling. Andy and Tony worked as a team to investigate, one upstairs & one downstairs, and figured out the problem was the o-ring in the toilet just by the sound of the water pattering on the ceiling! It took them only a few minutes! They diagnosed and fixed the problem in under an hour, and they saved me from having my ceiling cut open to find the leak. They were friendly, professional, and offered a 30-day warranty on their service. They even stopped another faucet from leaking with no charge. In a word, they were fantastic!
