Wow, here we are 2 days from Christmas and my rental house's hot water heater craps out. Once Tony saw that our house was on the way home to his holiday party he decided to repair the heater issue at that time. Can't express enough how straight up his terms and professionalism stood out in this situation. Will be keeping his number on speed dial.

AK plumbing is one of the best in the area.
There was a clog in the sewer drain, and as a result, our toilet was clogged and started flooding. Tony showed up in 30 min. When he couldn't find the sewer opening anywhere outside my house, he went around in the neighborhood checking with neighbors who owned similar house. No one knew either. Finally with more searching, he was able to find it hidden under the landscape.
I can't thank him enough for his effort to save us money and mess.

Been a homeowner for about 4 months now and through some googling discovered I had a clogged main sewer line on Monday. Called a couple places with no response or openings and got put on stand by for one. I found AK Plumbing and they were there about an hour after I called.

I got asked about a clean out and I had zero clue where it was located. There was nothing visible in front of the house. Luckily I live in a development with similar houses and Tony looked where clean outs were on other house. He searched and dug, not giving up for a good 15-20 mins to find it- saving me money (since if he didn't find one, he would have had to take the toilet off).

After locating the clean out, he successfully removed the clog (those dang ""flushable"" wet wipes) and came back in to ensure everything was back to normal operations.

Tony from AK Plumbing comes to the rescue any time I think I can do my own plumbing repairs and eff them up. I called and he was here within 30 minutes. He quoted me the rate over the phone and also gave me some things I could try to do on my own to fix it without having to have him come out (and save me the $150). I mean, who does that?!?

He fixed the issue in 5 minutes and then asked if I had anything else that needed looking at because he felt bad charging me the $150 when it was so quickly solved. He checked out an issue with my downstairs toilet, fixed that too and all for the price he quoted.Less than an hour later, he was out the door to rescue the next person with a plumbing issue.

Cordial, kind, patient with my DIY plumbing attempts and he gets it done right! I'd write more but I have some water to mop up from my ""incident"" and some towels to get in the laundry.

I came home from a week long vacation to find my kitchen sink backing up with dirty water. I'm lucky it didn't flood! I tried to fix the problem myself by plunging the sink and looking for clogs in the pipes below but nothing worked. I called several plumbers looking for someone to come out asap. I was finally able to reach Tony with AK Plumbing and was grateful that he could come out within 2 hours! He showed up with his business partner and snaked the drain. He was able to fix the problem quickly and made sure the water was running smoothly before leaving. Great service! Their work comes with a 30 day guarantee which is nice. If the same problem happens within 30 days, they will come back out for no additional charge. Make sure you have cash or a check to pay as they do not accept credit cards.

Andy and Tony are as good as it gets!!! Excellent service, prompt responses, great workmanship and just great guys. We've been relying on them for all of our plumbing needs since 2013 or 2014. In the years we've used their services, they have:

1. Replaced our main drain line under the kitchen (a huge project that involved crawling under our raised foundation)
2. Came out at 8 am on a Saturday morning to fix a geyser in our backyard after a water line broke (we were flying out of state that day at 11 am and they came out specially so we didn't have to worry!)
3. Fixed our garbage disposal
4. Fixed our kitchen sink when it wouldn't drain
5. Fixed our garage utility sink when it was backed up and we exploded it using drain-o
6. Replaced our utility sink faucet
7. Snaked our sewer line a couple of times when our toilet were slow and gurgling

Andy and Tony are so nice, and really work with your schedule and life to be available. You can see by this Yelp page what good work they do, and somehow they always are able to respond to a call or text within an hour or so (usually within minutes) and come out the next day if you need them to. They always make me feel like I'm their most important customer, even though I know they have a ton!

When you have a plumbing emergency, you are kind of frantic -- you can't use the bathroom, or run water or something is spilling everywhere -- you are in distress!! And that is when Andy and Tony are there for you, every time.

Once again, Andy and Tony saved the day! These guys are the absolute best. I met them many years ago when I had an issue at one of the rental properties I managed and continue to use them to this day. They are responsive; honest; and they know what they're doing. I've used other plumbing firms but after getting ripped off by other ""reputable plumbers"" I don't even look around - AK Plumbing is the only plumbing company in my contacts list and will remain that way forever. I've used them for little jobs as well as big ones, and have referred them to my other management friends and my neighbors. I am currently deployed to Texas to assist with the Hurricane Harvey relief mission when my wife called at midnight (10 pm California time) on a Monday (Labor Day Holiday, of all things) to tell me the water was overflowing in the toilets in our house. Not a good thing to hear when so far away.
