Tony gave me free advice over the phone and helped me out. Then I had another leak and they gave me more tips on how to fix it myself. The only thing is upside down soldering isn't my best skill, but it's theirs. On top of the job they came on Veterans Day and killed my leak. So happy.

It is Saturday, 10/24/2015. We had a badly clogged kitchen sink. I called AK Pumbing at 11:13a and it is now 1:30 pm. They were at another job clear on the other side of town when I called. Our sink is unclogged in 2 hours time on a Saturday! We were treated professionally and well. The price was extremely fair and they did quality work. We have had problems with other plumbing cos and even rejected and sent packing yesterday one company that tried to gouge us at nearly triple the price as AK Plumbing did the job. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AK PLUMBING. We dealt with Tony and he was great. This is what dealing with plumbers should be like. Cash or checks only at this time.

Had to have a kitchen an old kitchen faucet , dish washing liquid dispenser and garbage disposal replaced. Work was done very quickly, professionally and at a reasonable price.
What I appreciate above all is that you get a guarantee on the work...If there is a problem you call and they will come back and fix it ...( This is much better than what some contractors offer...The ""tail light guarantee"" (the guarantee last as long as you can see the tail lights of the contractor's truck).

Had a leaking water pipe in the attic and contacted AK Plumbing. These guys were accommodating and very professional. The pipe was copper and required removing the damaged section and soldering in a new piece. They were in and out within 45 minutes and did a great job. They were also reasonably priced compared to other plumbers that I called. Highly recommended.

Getting up in the morning to take a bath I come to find there's no hot water is in it's own right a ""RUDE AWAKING."". After checking the hot water tank I found out why quick enough as water leaked out of the tank. I've always gone to Yelp to research who would come into the house and work and who are efficient. Looking through the reviews I came upon a decision that I would call this company. Upon calling at five minutes before 6 a.m. and explain my situation to the gentleman on the other end of the phone quoted me a price for a complete replacement . They (Andy and Tony) came an hour earlier which was great. Yes, they called first to make sure we were ready for them. They settle my worries and explained everything to me. Plus stayed after the job to give me advice about the water pipes. They are knowledgeable, pleasant, polite and efficient.
