I launched my company to have more time with my family and to have the ability to drop them to and from school.
I have long operated side gigs even holding full time jobs for others. Once, I balanced two regular jobs and a weekend position for extra income and I also ran a tiny landscaping service that developed to the point that I committed myself to it full-time. Then, I relocated to Slidell and closed the lawn service. I explored snack machines, but it didn't work out. I also tried car sales, but that wasn't successful. I worked in the trucking industry for a few years up until my son was born, but I found it difficult to being absent so often. After that, I sold shrimp in Arkansas on alternate weekends throughout one shrimp season and performed well until the next season when there came many other vendors up there and I learned I was going to have a daughter. So, I founded Anything Assembled. After that, people began wondering if I could to do more services and within 2 years, I renamed the name to Anything Fixed or Assembled.
