I began my company to spend additional time with my kids and to have the ability to bring them to and from school.
I've always managed side gigs even working full-time employment for others. At one point, I balanced two full time roles and a secondary job on weekends and I also ran a tiny lawn care business that expanded to the point that I focused myself to it exclusively. After that, I moved to Slidell and sold the lawn service. I tried vending machines, but it failed. Additionally, I explored car sales, but that wasn't successful. I spent time as a truck driver for a few years until my son was born, but I couldn't handle being absent so frequently. After that, I distributed shrimp in northwest Arkansas every other weekend throughout one shrimp season and performed well until the next season at which point there appeared many other vendors up there and I learned I was going to have a daughter. So, I started Anything Assembled. Then, people continued inquiring if I could to handle more services and in 2 years, I rebranded the name to Anything Fixed or Assembled.
