I started my venture for the purpose of having extra time with my family and so I could take them to and from their school.
I have consistently managed additional ventures throughout having regular positions for others. At one point, I juggled 2 full time roles and a weekend role for extra income and I also managed a tiny grass cutting service that grew to the point that I focused myself to it full-time. Subsequently, I relocated to Slidell and closed the grass cutting operation. I explored snack machines, but it failed. Additionally, I tried car sales, but that wasn't successful. I worked in truck driving for a few years before my son was born, but I struggled with being absent so frequently. After that, I distributed shrimp in northwest Arkansas bi-weekly throughout one shrimp season and did pretty well until the next season when there were several other suppliers up there and I found out I was going to have a daughter. So, I started Anything Assembled. After that, people started inquiring if I was able to handle more services and after 2 years, I changed the name to Anything Fixed or Assembled.
