I began my company to have more time with my family and to be able to drop them to school.
I have consistently managed side businesses while having full time positions for others. At one point, I balanced 2 full-time roles and a part-time position for extra income and I also operated a small grass cutting business that expanded to the point that I dedicated myself to it entirely. Then, I relocated to Slidell and ended the grass cutting operation. I explored vending, but it didn't work out. I also explored car sales, but that didn't work out. I spent time in truck driving for a few years up until my son was born, but I struggled with being gone so often. After that, I sold shrimp in northwest Arkansas every other weekend throughout one shrimp season and did pretty well until the next season at which point there appeared many other vendors up there and I learned I was going to have a daughter. That’s when, I launched Anything Assembled. Then, people began asking if I was able to do more services and in 2 years, I renamed the name to Anything Fixed or Assembled.
