I began this business for the purpose of having more time with my kids and so I could take them to and from their school.
I have long managed side gigs while having regular jobs for others. Previously, I managed two regular jobs and a secondary job for extra income and I also managed a small lawn care operation that expanded to the point that I dedicated myself to it exclusively. Then, I moved to Slidell and sold the grass cutting operation. I explored snack machines, but it didn't work out. I also ventured into automobile sales, but that wasn't successful. I worked as a truck driver for a few years up until my son was born, but I struggled with being absent so frequently. Subsequently, I sold shrimp in Arkansas on alternate weekends for one shrimp season and performed well until the next season when there appeared many other sellers up there and I learned I was going to have a daughter. So, I founded Anything Assembled. Then, people continued wondering if I could to do more services and in 2 years, I renamed the name to Anything Fixed or Assembled.
