Home & Business Pipe Specialists in the Palmdale for three decades 30+ years!

Antelope Valley Plumbing was established in the year 1991 by the Bevingtons. They believed that the Antelope Valley was the perfect spot to create a small pipe company and deliver fair service to the people in their area. Our office manager oversees the office, alongside her dedicated assistant. Our founder manages the group of plumbers. We constantly endeavor to expand our expertise and understanding in the water industry to remain informed with the most recent advancements in plumbing. It brings us joy to say that the majority of our customers are returning clients who have trusted Antelope Valley Plumbing for an extended period and have recommended our company to family. Moreover, we offer a discount to all of our new clients. Antelope Valley Plumbing is well-regarded throughout the community for offering fair, skilled service, just as the founders set out to do in 1991.

Mike began his water journey in Denver as an trainee. Afterward obtained his Journeyman's credential and then his master certification in the field. In the year 1987, Mike and his family transferred to the Antelope Valley where he served for a pipe company in the nearby area and joined the California plumbing union. Mike after that earned his Pipe & Trade, Los Angeles City Plumbing License, and California Contractor's License. In the year 1991, Mike and Cathy created Antelope Valley Plumbing from their residence while nurturing their two young kids. Cathy Bevington has continued to refine the operational processes and Mike has enhanced his expertise in the trade and earned credentials in various water fields including: PEX installation, Trac Gas systems, leak detection technology, sewer line inspection, Home Improvement, and maintenance of conventional and on-demand hot water systems. Our founders are incredibly proud to have assisted the local community for 30 years!

Though it was not by my choice to hire AVP, they did complete a rush job of re-routing a propane line in an efficient amount of time. A payment demand phone call was placed to me by Kathy who works in some administrative capacity at AVP around 4 pm, about 15 to 20 mins after the job was complete. However, AVP (Kathy) never sent me a job acceptance email or placed a call to me earlier to verify that I approve of the estimate before beginning the work, nor did they (Kathy) send me an invoice when the job was complete so I had nothing to reference during our conversation, yet the tone that Kathy chose to use with me was unprofessional and ""thug-like"" in aggression (AVP threatened have the work ""ripped out"" if I didn't pay immediately). Perhaps she is coached and required to communicate this way with customers, so in that case, she did her job to the standards of the owners of the AVP. Typically, I never pay for services without receiving a detailed invoice. After doing some research on AVP it seems that other customers have had similar unsatisfactory encounters with Kathy, and about 33% of the former customers report sub-par work and overcharges. I'm not disputing the cost of my job as it was a rush request, but I will note that I live in West Los Angeles and the price for this rush job would probably be estimated for less given the type of installation it was. And I include that my contractor who chose AVP, said that the job was done to his satisfaction - so I do not fault Kevin, the technician from AVP. My contractor had little time to research other plumbing companies and ask for more than one bid before accepting AVP.
AVP may not be accustomed to working with professional clients like me in a business-like manner or perhaps they have never had clients from Los Angeles since they are located in the Antelope Valley. Never-the-less it would seem that approaching all customers with a fair, professional and business-friendly approach would elevate their company far above and beyond their competitors. I hope they take my review as an opportunity to rise as it was written with that in mind. P.S. The payment for this job was guaranteed through escrow and payment sent upon receipt of invoice.
Have a very successful year and make it a great day, AVP!

We had a leak under our stairs with a copper pipe. We called AV Plumbing and Mike came over. He was fast, professional and the cost was reasonable. Within a half-hour, we had water again. I will definitely use these guys in the future. I give them five stars!

This company continues to exceed my expectations. I recently had them out for a huge job! I bought a new house and my water heater was in my master closet so we upgraded to a tankless and moved it to the garage. I also had a ton of small odds and ends (leaky pipe, replace kitchen faucet, etc.). Kevin especially is so helpful he goes above and beyond to ensure that he doesn't just do the job but that if there's a way to improve something along the way, then take the extra time and care to do it! Overly impressed with their professionalism and family feel. Thank you all so much!!

when they say customer service is their priority, they mean it. we had an issue with our tub installation. talked to Mike about it. they corrected the issue right away. and more importantly, with no attitude. he, and the guys that came to the house to do the work, were very nice and polite. highly recommend them! will definitely use them for any/all our future plumbing needs. thanks guys!

I called AV Plumbing due to a leak on the side of my home. They were able to come out and see me within a couple of hours. The technician they sent (Travis) did an awesome job and the work was done quickly. I didn't do comparative shopping because I could see the tally on my water bill increasing by the minute. If I could give the tech a different rating he would get a 5. The fix was fairly simple and I did like the fact that he explained the problem to me in layman's terms. There was a section of PVC that need to be replaced, but the fix was a tad bit expensive. All in all I appreciate the work and the expeditious fix. Had to rate it a 3 because of the cost.

Needed a plumber to repair our kitchen faucet. It only needed a small part replaced that costs about $30.00. The faucet itself was worth over $250.00. Travis, the plumber arrived and without checking it said we needed to replace the faucet. He said it would cost more to repair the faucet than to replace it. The faucet he was going to replace it with was cheap. Later at the store I saw it for a price of $49.00. He said his charge to take our $250.00 faucet and replace it with a new cheap faucet was going to be $350.00. He cut the supply lines that came with our faucet then told us that it would cost us another $20.00. He indicated he made a mistake. I told him to just take his things and leave. We did not want the cheap faucet. So he packed up and left charging us $88.00. He could not even repair a bathroom drain stopper because he did not carry the $5.00 part. He also took our $250.00 faucet and did not return it. I called the office to try to get them to return the faucet, but Travis answered the phone and was very rude. I asked to talk to the manager and he said he would have to have him call me back. I am still waiting for the call. I purchased a new faucet at Home Depot and installed it myself. I am out the $88.00 service call and the $250.00 cost of the faucet he took and did not return. I will not be calling Antelope Valley Plumbing for any services in the future.

Short & sweet ... doesn't show up for scheduled appointments, no call to say they are running late or can't make the appointment, phone calls not returned. Not a way to run a business.

I was glad that the plumber could come out quickly, however it was costly.! $250.00 for two angle stops and a supply line. And a hours work. Overpriced, but hopefully it will work and the job was done well. After going on to a site that rates charges AV Plumbing was in the price range that was fair. If the work was done well I will be happy.

Thanks Mike. Needed a plumber fast to diagnose several leaks in my house. Had an appt with a different plumber & was disappointed & left hanging. Called, was told a tech would come out in less than 2 hours & tech, Kevin, called saying can he come early since he finished the last job.
Slipped my mind that we've used their services for my water heater.
AWESOME!!!! Kevin & Travis were polite, efficient & honest. What I thought was a slab leak wasn't...thank goodness. Fixed several leaks in no time. They even cleaned up after so nicely.
Will definitely hang on to this number & call again for my plumbing needs.
