Called them with gas water heater issue. Mike, the owner I think, told me when they would come and gave me a reasonable price. Jose, the plumber who came right on time, could not have been better. His manner was professional, courteous and perfect. He addressed the problem perfectly and we could not be happier. Keep it up Antelope Valley Plumbing and Thank You!

Saved by Antelope Valley Plumbing once again. Couldn't finish the job myself. Called Mike up he had someone out within the hour. They finished the job that I couldn't. Wouldn't go to any other plumbing company great company and great people.

Mike the owner is super responsive with any questions. They did a whole house repipe with pex and plumbing for a kitchen remodel. Mike Jr and Brian did most of the work. They always showed up on time, glad to be at work and respectful of our house. Being a kitchen remodel they had to come a number of times as the project progressed and they always came within a day of me notifying them I was ready for the next stage in the project.

Its nine ""O"" five in the morning and the plumber was here AT eight o'clock, as promised, and my new toilet is in, the old one is gone. There is nothing that could have been done better. This is the way service is suppose to be and we certainly do recommend this plumbing company from our experience yesterday and today.

I called here after attempting my own repair, replacing a cartridge into my shower valve, and making the leak worse.

I spoke to a lady on the phone, who tried to give me advice on my own repair, then placed Mike on the phone, who also did the same. They were very polite and friendly... Mike's suggestion about what could have happened was spot on. He obviously could not give a accurate answer without looking at it, but still he was correct.... It was leaking behind the cartridge.

I opted to have someone come out, and they sent Frank.

Frank arrived in less than an hour. He was very nice and polite. He was very patient with my curiosity with the work. I know some people don't like that, they just want to do the job.

I was very pleased with the service on the phone and with Frank.

As far as the price goes, I don't know if it was a good pRice or not, as I didn't shop around. Even though I am usually price conscious, my biggest concern was fixing the problem, which it appears was done well.

Thank you Frank, Mike, and the lady who answered the phone (sorry, I didn't catch your name).

Got home from work to find water coming from my meter and running into the street. Called AV Plumbing. Kevin arrived within an hour and identified the source of the problem immediately. Very polite and professional. Fair pricing. Work took about two hours and didn't complete until almost 10 pm. I felt bad that he had to work so late, and of course there was an unexpected problem with my pipes, but Kevin didn't complain. He just kept working until the job was done. There was no extra charge for ""after. Hours"" work.

My rented house needed an emergency propane line repair. I find this company through a Google search and make a cursory check of their previous reviews. I've had no fuel for hot water or the stove for a day and a half and need a repair - stat. I called them up, ask if they worked on propane lines and gave them the landlady's phone number for payment. Later, my landlady sends me a text telling me the appointment time AV Plumbing gave her is 9:00-10:00 AM the next day.

At 8:00 AM in the morning, I decide to call AV Plumbing and double check the appointment time, ""my landlady said it was 9:00-10:00 AM"". No, says their receptionist Sharon, ""it'll be 10:00 AM"". At 10:20 AM when they haven't arrived or called, I call back and she denies telling me ""10:00 AM"", leaving me sitting in my house, waiting like a chump. ""I always give a window, it's 10:00 AM to Noon"" says Sharon. ""No miss, you said ten"", I tell her, ""you did not say 'ten to noon' or I wouldn't be calling you back"". She quickly escalates this insignificant point into a major argument. She can't give me a competent answer so after I ask her ""why would my landlady tell me 9:00 AM? Then you tell me ten? The time keeps changing without explanation - I'll be waiting"". After this call, she cries to her employers like a little schoolyard snitch. Owner Mike Brevington calls me back 5 minutes later to yell at me as if he was under the delusion that I am somehow subordinate to him, insulting me and rudely talking over me without allowing me to respond. This over-heated bully 'bad cop' makes threats; 'I'll call your landlady', refuses to calm down or discuss the misunderstanding rationally before capriciously canceling the service appointment and hanging up on me. My landlady is now calling me and I have no choice but to call back and talk to Mike's wife Cathy, as she superciliously acts out her role as the 'good cop"" holding me hostage over the scheduled repair because her employee screwed up and denied it. Yet inexplicably, this is my fault because I expressed some frustration over the ever-changing ETA of their repairman. UNBELIEVABLE! My landlady finally manages to get a 12 to 2:00 PM appointment time from them but they arrived 25 minutes late anyway. When I didn't greet their smirking technician with smile, he laughed in my face and said '""it wasn't my fault, LOL!"" I can't say whether the work they did is good or bad but that's irrelevant to the upsetting situation they put me in by doing business this way.

Avoid this company unless you possess a masochistic level of tolerance for verbal abuse and passive/aggressive behavior. Cathy and Mike Brevington's good cop/bad cop act on the phone was as transparent as scotch tape and didn't fool me. They are the most condescending, unreasonable, unprofessional people I've had to deal with in a long time. I was born in Los Angelels and lived here my entire life, but having lived in Elizabeth Lake, near the AV for the past 19 years, I've found that some of the most hostile and aggressive people in LA County seem to congregate in Palmdale and having to deal with petty tyrants like Mike Brevington make me glad I'm moving away in a week.

ADDENDUM: After reading some of the other reviews here, I see that Mike Brevington has a habit of yelling at his customers on the phone. Perhaps he should look into some ""anger management"" before he chases away everyone who might want to hire his company for their home repairs.

The guy came on time and installed the water heater but when I asked for my permit I was told I have to pay extra for that.
I should have been told that up front now they want to charge me extra for the permit and they won't tell me how much until after they get it.
I spoke with owner we have come to an agreement so as of now I give them a strong rating due to a misunderstanding and true professionalism on all aspects
I would recommend them for future services

WOW!!!!!!!! They wanted $125!!!!! To soder a fiting that's outside the wall. Don't go here way overpriced.
