The roots of Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air trace back to four companies founded by Mary Jean Anderson.
2018 marked our 40th anniversary serving the San Diego community. To commemorate this milestone, we expanded our Anderson Random Acts of Plumbing, Heating & Air initiative. We provided 40 gifts of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services and equipment at no charge to 40 randomly selected San Diego residents.
The Anderson Career Builder Institute was founded in 2017. This was our answer to the urgent need for qualified workers in the skilled trades.
In 2006, we unified our companies under a single name, forming a cohesive and exceptional team. We focus on providing only the highest quality products while ensuring excellent customer service.
Mary Jean Anderson, our President, acquired her partner's share in Walter Anderson Plumbing in 2003. Since that time, she has expanded by acquiring more businesses in the industry and bringing in skilled staff who are still with us.

I had Anderson out to replace the water heater in my ADU on November 8, 2024. They charged me $4,500. Today, March 15, 2024, my tenant has no hot water. I call Anderson and they tell me, well, the water pressure wasn't perfect when they installed it, so they might have to charge you to fix it, and I have to be within 30 minutes of being home at any given moment on a Saturday to meet a technician. Mind you, I paid $200 extra for maintenance and their invoice says satisfaction guaranteed. I told them that I personally replaced it in 2011 for $450 dollars with no plumbing experience and it lasted 13 years with nary a problem and that I was very disappointed and frustrated with the service based on the amount I paid. I will never use them again. I paid that much to NEVER have to worry about that water heater. 5 months later there are problems. I troubleshot it on the internet and fixed it in 30 seconds. Word of advice, talk to your neighbors and find a local guy. These big companies aren't worth it.

I've been using Anderson Plumbing for years and have always been very happy with the service! Shout out to Cameron Brinkley for a job well done!!! It's nice to be in hot water again Nice and New!

total cheats. I've never done a yelp review before, but I can't pass on this one. I called
because the water in my back bathroom wasn't getting hot. I was told I had a bad fixture in the shower and a bad pump in the water heater. They wanted over $4000 to fix the two problems. As it turned out, there was nothing wrong with my bathroom fixture or the pump in the water heater. what was wrong? there was a water circulation timer that was not functioning properly. All that was required was to remove the timer and the problem was solved. The worst of it was the man who came out tried to high-pressure me to signing a contract on the spot that called for , the $4000 plus repair. This place is like one of those auto mechanics that tells you you need an engine replacement when all you have is dirty spark plugs. Call anyone but them.

Two weeks ago, I called because my heat wasn't working. A technician came out and said the circuit board was bad and would need to be replaced. He also said my blower motor needed cleaning, which I agreed to after the furnace was fixed.
Two weeks later, Anderson called to say the supplier forgot to order the circuit board. I was frustrated because my house had been cold for weeks. Anderson called back shortly after and said they found a board and would install it the next day.
When the technician came the next day, he realized the part was wrong. He told me I had three options: 1) Find the part myself on eBay, 2) Pay $2,500 for a new blower unit, or 3) Buy a new furnace. He then charged me $500 to clean the blower, which still wasn't fixed.
This feels like taking my car to a mechanic, having them unable to fix it, but still charging me for cleaning a part they couldn't fix. The technician should have tried to find the part first and then told me the blower cleaning wasn't necessary.
I'm very disappointed with Anderson. My house is still cold, and I'm out $500. I regret ever calling them.

The guy was a nice guy but did not find the leak in our water system. He thought he heard a water leak by listening to through a wall. He never found a leak, charged 500 bucks and wanted to come back and replace lines for 5 to 7 thousand dollars plus removing Sheetrock with no idea where it was leaking.

I needed a gas pipe re routed for my new dryer. Anderson is prompt, knowledgeable, professional, and customer service oriented. You pay something extra for that level of professionalism, but for me it's worth it to feel secure that the work is safe and correct on a critical system like gas lines.

Excellent customer service! Tony, Levi and John went above and beyond to fix our ""old house"" plumbing issue. They showed up on time a very well prepared. Friendly and knowledgeable. Not to mention a great value. We will for sure use them again!

Reggie was excellent, knowledgeable, and patient. He noticed that the regulator I purchased last year was missing. He also gave me some suggestions for future improvements.

Cristina Castillo was on time, courteous, precise, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed having her and appreciate her suggestions to improve our plumbing issues. She's a top of the line employee and we will request her in the future. Thank you for a quality service. Bev and Angie

Reggie De Leon is a rock star. Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Provided service to our tankless water heater and while onsite inspected the balance of our plumbing and heating.
Anderson Plumbing continues to provide good service and great service technician.
