Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air originated from four businesses owned by Mary Jean Anderson.
In 2018, we celebrated 40 years of service in San Diego. As part of our celebration, we enhanced our Anderson Random Acts of Plumbing, Heating & Air program. We gifted plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services and equipment to 40 randomly chosen residents in San Diego.
2017 saw the establishment of the Anderson Career Builder Institute. This initiative was a response to the nationwide shortage of skilled trade professionals.
We combined our companies in 2006, creating a unified and outstanding team. Our commitment is to offer top-tier products and exceptional customer service.
In 2003, Mary Jean Anderson, our President, took full ownership of Walter Anderson Plumbing by buying out her partner. Since that time, she has expanded by acquiring more businesses in the industry and bringing in skilled staff who are still with us.

This morning we noticed that our toilet was not flushing. As it turned out none of our toilets were working. Looked online and found Anderson Heating and Plumbing. called them up and was able to get someone out within a few hours. Michael was our tech. He was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Took care of our problem right away. I will call them first for any plumbing repair we need in the future.

Art was excellent in assessing a smell in our laundry room and has a plan of action. He was knowledgeable, on time, courteous and efficient. I have used Anderson's before and definitely will us again. Thx

First, I when I called, I didn't get on an endless circle of ""press 1"", which was a relief. The communication with the woman who took my request and with my plumber, Loren, was excellent. I felt confident in Loren and he did not disappoint. He was friendly and professional and explained everything to me in detail in words I could understand. Thanks so much.

Mike our tech was. On time, courteous. Knowledgeable about our plumbing situatuon and well as future needs with out being. Aggressive.

This rating is for Tim with plumbing. We also used Anderson for HVAC and they were great. We worked with another guy also and until we get other quotes for his project. He was professional but job isn't done due to mitigation ( dry out of water leak) So lets focus on Tim.
Tim was honest and great communicator. He explained things clearly and had to return the following day ( my husband broke off the water valve and no one had part) and Tim showed up first thing in morning as promised. Tim treated our home w respect and we would have him back anytime.
My complaint about Anderson is regarding phone center/management process because we had to have 3 visits to complete clog and camera work. ( This doesn't include the return visit due to broken valve my husband caused or the extra proposed work to correct slope in master bath estimate at $3500)
So management issue: We call and tell them our upstairs toilet leaked into shower and immediately started raining in our downstairs and of course fan was on so it was flung dark water around the room. We are told we would have someone show between 9 and 12 next day ( yay!! ) someone shows at 1 pm and tells us we need the clog and camera division so he stays 5 min and leaves. (Not happy, he said it was call center or wrong information given to call center -blames customer . But if this was the only issue i would give it the benefit of the doubt but...) Then we wait to get a call to schedule someone else to come out, maybe today or tomorrow. Im not happy. I already waiting all morning to have someone show an hour late. Thankfully Tim shows up at the end of the day but unable to fix toilet because my husband grabs the water switch to toilet and breaks it right in front of us. So Tim says he can come back w part tomorrow but my husband says he get it and fix it. Tim return the next day exactly as promised ( yay! Tim) but we are told a camera person has to show after he clears the clog. Oh ok. Thankfully the camera guy an hour later ( 1st guy made it sound like the guy who cleared the drain and camera was same guy and not two different guys ). Why not explain that) Again this isnt Tim fault but more of a company process. Thankfully we are not changed by the hour and only $49 but this company needs to look at their process. Would i use them again. For Tim definitely and hvac. But i would be very clear that i dont want 12 hours process for 3 hrs of work. Again , Tim was amazing but Anderson needs some work with scheduling. If you didn't work from home and had to take two days off because of their process, I would be really upset. Its one thing if the work took that time but it didn't. I will update review once we confirm bid for slope repair is reasonable and completed properly and timely.

Mike was amazing! Totally professional and very pleasant. He actually found the service wasn't even required up front and offered a no charge visit. Having had some roots a few years back we opted for a preventative snake. $63. Will always call Andersen and hope to see Mike, a wonderful human!!

An absolute robbery of a company! Charged 714 dollars for a toilet that was purchased by myself to be installed. 35 minutes of work to charge a client 714 dollars. Guess I'm in the wrong business and should become a plumber for that hourly rate. On a positive note, the technician Ron could not have been any better. It's a shame a quality worker like Ron has to be put in these situations from your absolute Robbery of a business you run.
