I had an excellent experience with Anctil Plumbing today. I recently received an unusually high water bill. The city checked my meter and confirmed it was accurate and the dial was spinning, despite having no faucets on inside of my home. I eliminated everything within the house and determined that it was an underground leak between the street meter and the shut-off valve in the garage. I called one company and they were going to send out someone to detect the leak for $300+ for the first hour. Then they would send out someone else to repair it for an additional charge. I decided to call one more company to compare prices. I called Anctil and Mark answered the phone. He asked me a few questions about my problem, including ""Do you have irrigation?"" I told him I did and he asked me to shut the main irrigation valve. Sure enough, the dial on the meter stopped turning. Now I can repair the irrigation system at my leisure, and it won't cost me hundreds of dollars. I now have a new plumber for any future plumbing needs. Thanks you Mark and Anctil!

We had Anctil Plumbing replace the hose bib faucet pipe in the front of our house. According to plumber we know, should have been about 15 minutes at most even if problematic. The Anctil plumber kept dragging it on, not able to get the pipe to supposedly screwed into the old pipe in the wall properly. I finally called a plumber we know and asked them what to do to get him to finish. I was instructed get down and shine a flash light in the hole to see where the pipe is and once I did that, well then all of a sudden MIRACULOUSLY the plumber had no trouble screwing the new pipe into the old pipe in the wall after fooling around with it for 40 minutes.

The next item, installing the shut off valve in the basement ceiling, wide open area, no wall, nothing in the way, reach up, cut, install and he was done with that in about 5 minutes as he should have been.

We were billed for an hour and a half, even though the plumber was not here that long and we were told it would be done in an hour prior to having them out.

We will never use them again and will not recommend them.

Well thank you so much for not returning my phone call for service. I've waited for 2 days now and am moving on to a different company. You should really consider hiring a secretary if you are too busy to answer or return calls.

If communication and being able to count on a company are important to you, don't waste your time with Anctil. They don't return phone calls. After wasting several months trying to follow up with them after they gave an initial consultation, I had to call another company. However, I am SO glad I went with a different company, because they gave a much more thorough assessment and identified some pretty major issues that Anctil completely missed.

We were in a pickle. We tried to replace the kitchen faucet ourselves, but once we were 1/2 way into it, we didn't have the right tools. Bill came out the same day I called, and fixed it for us, and removed some old plumbing bits and things that needed to go. Highly recommend them.

Bill and his team were wonderful to work with. Our project hit some snags and they were super flexible and got us on the schedule again quickly knowing we were on a tight schedule. Pricing was fair and communication was great. Will definitely be using them again.

After having a great experience and writing a terrific review my next experience has been abysmal. After servicing my toilet and replacing a defective flush mechanism, the toilet had an intermittent problem. About every 3rd flush, the mechanism would stick open allowing the water to run endlessly. 4 Calls to Anctil and 4 promises of ""we are sending the plumber who did your job back to investigate"" no one ever came. Not only did it worsen during this time, but I was also notified by the water dept. of increased usage. My water bill was more than double. I explained this to anctil on my last call and still no response. I will never use them again for my older house and I suggest you do not either,

Have had 2 visits from Anctil Plumbing due to some leaking pipes in a new house my Wife and I recently bought. Have had a phenomenal experience and no complaints about the services they provided. They fixed my problem, showed up when they said they would, and were very nice. I would highly recommend them to any one!
