I had both warranty service done on my 7 month old Rheem water heater and replacement of whole house water regulator. Ted came out and did a fantastic job!! He was so informative and personable, so I learned a lot.. I also dealt with Tanya in the office who was always polite, efficient and really knowledgeable too. I will definitely be calling them with any future plumbing needs
There are 2 persons that involved during ""Rheem Water Heater"" warranty work/repair at my home.
Tonya did a good job to schedule service to my water heater issue (Part defected after 1 year) and she also called the warranty company for the parts coverage.Tonya help scheduled the installation in a proactive manner.
The information needed by them was communicated clearly. She is very nice and tentative to the issue that I had.
Ted provided an excellent service! He did diagnostics for our ""water heater"" and found the issue/problem and explained to me all the process. He was awesome and professionally installed a new parts on my warranty water heater and also made sure that my gas pressure was met the minimum specs so my water heater could run efficiently!
Ted is very friendly, his service job is above and beyond!
He did found small leak on top of my water heater and caused by the washer. He did replace the washer + the new Gas valve at small reasonable fee.
Thank you for giving me hot water again!!!
I give 10 out of 10 for their services!!!
I'm very pleased with Amor Plumbing! Highly recommend this company!
This is 5 START Company for Plumbing/Water Heater related work!
Loc Nguyen (San Jose)
We had multiple problems with our new heat pump hybrid water heater. The manufacturer (Rheem) made multiple attempts to diagnose it and failed. They had Amor Plumbing come out to evaluate it.
Ted did a thorough and complete assessment, while Tonya worked with the manufacturer (Rheem) on parts and warranty coverage.
Ted's skill is like that of a surgeon: careful, analytical, detailed and accurate. His competence, knowledge and experience are amazing. He has an outstanding level of commitment.
Amor was able to navigate all the nuances, identify each problem and get the unit fixed.
I cannot recommend these folks highly enough.
These guys are awesome! They came out to perform a warranty water heater replacement, but discovered I had leaky pipes behind it. They showed me what was going on, explained what needed to be done, and took care of it right away! They obviously knew what they were doing, and did an excellent job. And they cleaned up after themselves! Highly recommend!
Completely irresponsible and not untrustworthy. Surprised they are still in business. No show and no follow up for an appointment. Called multiple times. Not even able to track the record. Same BS answer that they would call back, then nothing happened.
Outstanding service!!
When my tenant was unable to re-light the pilot light on a State Industries water heater, I discovered that the heater model was under a recall. Customer service at State recommended a few State-licensed plumbing services in my area, and Amor Plumbing was the first company that was available to help. Tonya at Amor Plumbing was very knowledgeable; she contacted State in order to obtain the correct parts for my water heater (gas control valve and burner assembly), and pushed for getting the parts delivered via UPS Next Day Air. On the day that the parts arrived, she arranged for a technician to replace the parts that afternoon and described about how long the repair would take. She contacted me when the technician arrived, and when the repair was completed. She also provided details about what the technician observed about the old, replaced parts. I really appreciate Tonya's attention to detail and being thorough.
I highly recommend Amor Plumbing for your water heater repairs!
Pepe B.TL;DR: Outstanding water heater company. Knowledgeable and professional.
My water heater started to leak and needed to be replaced. I called another certified installer to perform the setup. The provider conned me: installed wrong burner unit, made five fake appointments and later tried to bill me for the appointments even though my tank was still under the warranty and all repairs would have been covered by the manufacturer. This has been going on for five months.
Out of the desperation I called my tank's manufacturer , State Waterheaters, A.O. Smith Company. They recommended AMOR. AMOR quickly diagnosed the problem, and repaired the problem. I couldn't be happier with AMOR, their professionalism, technical expertise and responsiveness.
The technicians Jerry and Alex are very professional and friendly. Problem fixed perfectly.
Sumeet G.I called them on 11/15 to schedule an appointment to install Aquasana whole house water filter. They said they will get back to me within a day. After not hearing anything, I called them on 11/17. They said they will get back to me within a day. It is 11/24 and no word from them. You guys may be busy, but you need to make sure that you get back to your customers on time.
Edit - I read some other reviews and some other people had similar complaints. Amor's response was that ""you connected to our live answering machine"". In my case, I talked to two different REAL persons on two different occasions.
Julien P.On Tuesday early morning, one of the two water heaters in my house - the larger 75 gallon model - started leaking. I shut it off. When I woke up, I noticed on the label that the manufacturing date was 1/13/2016. I called AO Smith to inquire about warranty. It turns out the unit had a 6-year warranty, and it was just 3 months short of that. AO Smith referred me to two plumbers. One of them didn't accept calls. The other was Amor Plumbing.
Amor was able to make the determination that the unit had failed, and was eligible for a free warranty replacement. I know that they spent a lot of time dealing with AO Smith to process the claim. Amor had availability the next morning. Out of 5 labor plumber quotes for picking up the new unit, hauling it off, and installing the new one, Amor came in on the high end, but one of the others was at the same number. I chose to go with Amor because it was easier as they had a direct line to the manufacturer.
They showed up right on time the next day. There were 3 men initially. They did some code upgrades. They were in and out in less than 3 hours. My husband and I both took showers in our upstairs master bathroom today.
I hope the replacement water heater will last at least as long as the old one. Unfortunately, even though it has a manufacturing date of 9/17/2021, the unit warranty does not start over, it still expires on 1/13/2022. The labor is warrantied for one year by Amor. My next water heater probably won't be an AO Smith, but I hope that's a long ways off.
