I have the same bad experience as the review below. My Whirlpool water heater stopped working. A.O.Smith customer support referred this service to me. I called them and I was told that they would call me back to schedule an appointment. But it never happens!!!

By the way, you can search for A. O. Smith service providers from their Web site. Do not waste your time on this one.

If I could give a zero star, I would. After being referred to them by the A.O. Smith recall customer service team, I called and talked to the receptionist two times. Both times she said that he could give me a call to schedule an appointment. Yet, nothing happened! Not even a phone call to say that they are overwhelmed by the volume of service calls and can't service my hot water heater! If they aren't calling people back, why take down the information to give false hope that someone will contact you? Just a simple ""We are sorry but we can't help you"" would be nice so I don't have to keep on waiting. I could just move on to call the next plumber. It's a common courtesy!

I would like to give 0 Star! I was refered by AO smith, my water heater still under warranty. Call them early in the morning and later afternoon on 12/12,12/13,12/14.total FIVE times, every time I got the same answer,'I took message for you, will call you back to set up the appointment. ' but I never get any call back.If they are too busy to take care of my water heater, why not tell me earlier? No hot water for 3 days, I can't wait anymore!

Im very pleased with Amor Plumbing! Ted serviced our 2 year old water heater that was under recall. It was making popping noises. Fortunately it was part of the recall from A O Smith Company so I only paid for the gas line upgrade. The other parts were covered (approx. $600) He is an expert in his business, proficient, knowledgeable, and very helpful in answering our questions. He took the time to inspect each aspect of the water heater. The company is very busy with service calls so be patient with the scheduling. You will eventually be acknowledged. Had them repair a water heater today. They called with a 20 minute advance arrival time, arrived in the time period that we had scheduled and the water heater tech was nice and professional. My water heater was still under warranty with AO Smith and I needed to use an AO Smith authorized repair company. They changed the thermometer. They did up-sell me on a larger drain pipe thing to easily remove the sediment $130.

Lesson learned San Jose has hard water and I really did need to flush my water heater twice per year as good routine maintenance. The tech showed me the giant rock sized sediment in my 4year old water heater.

The only downfall was I couldn't get same day service but they did schedule me for next day. Highly recommend this company.

Ted from Amor Plumbing does excellent work!!! He came and did some warranty work on my water heater for me and also made sure that my gas pressure was met the minimum specs so my water heater could run efficiently!!! Thank you
