If I could give zero stars I would. These guys did a shoddy job replacing a leaky valve in my bathtub faucet last year. The first issue was right away I noticed the knobs were really hard to turn on or off, and when I told the plumber he said that was normal with a new faucet. Then just the other day after my sons bath, I turned the water off, but now there was a steady leak. No matter how hard I turned the knobs, couldn't stop it. So I called them and they said they only support their work for 90 days and we were out of that time, so they wouldn't support the faulty install. The receptionist said I should've said something at the time when I noticed that knobs and I told her I had; to which she had nothing to respond with. Now i'm going to have to end up paying twice for a bath tub faucet within a year...Thanks for a crappy job and for not supporting your crappy work A Dos Amigos. Be assured you will never get my business again and i'll make sure to tell everyone I know that dealing with you is as annoying as a dripping faucet!

I was absolutely apprehensive when I was given this as my contact for my water heater issue, but I cannot rave enough about their work! Ryan came over on a weekday and diagnosed the problem almost immediately. He told me that I would need to replace the water heater, but that he needed to speak to my warranty company to see what was covered. Turns out everything was covered, and I was scheduled within 3 days to get a new water heater (delays were because of me). Ryan came at the time he said he would show up and worked so hard to get it fixed. It took him five hours because of all the upgrades that needed to occur to get it in compliance. He was awesome and loved his work. Water Heater works great. I can't complain - they rocked!

It feels very strange giving this many stars for a place that has such bad reviews but I really did have a pleasant experience.
Put in a claim with my home warranty that a few of our faucets weren't getting hot water and we had a different plumber come out and say it was likely because of the age of our water heater (it was almost 20 years old) and so at that point we figured we would contact home warranty.
They sent out A Dos Amigos Plumbing and they stated that we definitely needed a new water heater (phew!) and that our home warranty would cover everything except for about $113 of parts. We were fine with that. They were able to come out just a few days later with the new water heater, they installed it and that was that. No hassle - no scam - just a new water heater properly installed.
I'm sorry so many others had a bad experience with them. I was fully prepared to have a bad experience as well and then...well...didn't.

I would give this incompetent company zero stars as well. This company was assigned by my home warranty. My water heater went out last Sunday and I had their 1st tech come out on Thursday. The tech did his troubleshooting and concluded the safety mechanism needed to be replaced. The tech called GE (brand of my water heater) to have the part shipped overnight. The next day, I called the company when the part arrived. Two different techs were dispatched. After their own troubleshooting, they inform me the previous tech should have ordered the entire burner, not just the safety mechanism. They also inform me I have water damage which my home warranty might not cover. I was surprised because the previous tech made no remark of water damage in his notes. At this point, I just wanted my water heater fixed, so I didn't argue. They told me that GE was overnighting the part. I asked for a tracking or confirmation number to stay on top of it, but the tech had nothing. At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, the part had not come in, so I decided to call GE myself to see if I could track the part. I gave GE my case number and it turned out the part was never shipped because it was out of stock. I am pretty sure the techs knew this, but kept me in the dark. It made no sense that GE would inform me and not them about the part being out of stock. Fortunately, GE gave me the option to return my water heater to Home Depot for a new. I went with this option since I had zero confidence in A Dos Amigos Plumbing at this point. I ended up installing it myself. If you are looking for company that is dishonest and has zero urgency when it comes to providing customer service, A Dos Amigos Plumbing is your company.

If I could give zero stars I would. This company was assigned to us by our home owners insurance plan when we purchased our home (Allied, also a JOKE.)
Came out 2x to fix a leaky toilet didn't do ANYTHING but charge me a fee that our insurance company wouldn't pay (surprise, surprise). Told me it would be $2,000 to get the work done that I needed. They seemed SUPER lazy but sure were quick on their toes to cash the check I gave them for the "service fee".
Needless to say we havent done nothing about the issue until today because we didn't have $2,000 to drop on a toilet repair when we have an additional toilet upstairs. Called out ARS who we've been using for AC/heat repair after ALSO getting. scammed by Allied on and the guy tells me it will be $620 to fix everything we need.
A-Dos Amigos are a bunch of crooks! I wouldn't send them to the home of my worst enemy.

I confess I was concerned about the negative reviews when this company was assigned to my warranty repair as my usual go-to guy was on vacation. Maybe I was lucky but Danny and two of his colleagues replaced the attic mounted water heater with a minimum of fuss, cleaned up after themselves and were as polite as can be. They say you're only as good as your last job, but these guys earned it.

This company was assigned by a home warranty service to clear a drain line & repair handles on two toilets. I'd read the poor reviews on them nd was skeptical, but when they arrived I was very happy with the work performed.
John & Ryan were very courteous, professional...you could not ask for more. No hidden charges, just good work!!

These guys are crooks. They were dispatched by my home warranty vendor and wanted to charge $1200 to replace a 40 gallon electric water heater. They planned to charge the home warranty company the max of $750 and me the remainder. I told them to jump in a lake! Then went down to Home Depot, purchased a heater for $227 and installed it myself.
Steer clear of these guys.

I have used this company more than once and they have been efficient, knowledgable, respectful of my home and have saved me money with their free advise. They are now my go-to pumbing company!!!

Stay away from doing business with these people. I had to go through my insurance company to replace my water heater and had the most horrible experience in my life. I wasn't getting any hot water and was needing to relight the pilot every time we took a shower so I got them out to "diagnose" the problem. My small problem became a bigger problem when the plumber (John) came out and somehow made it impossible for me to relight the pilot or even get water in my shower for that matter. It took a few days for my insurance company to order a new water heater and when John came back out to install it, not only did he not show up at the time that he promised but he also said that he "just had a huge lunch" and being the "old man that he was," he needed to use our restroom. There was also a HUGE gouge on the side of the new water heater from top to bottom that he admitted to doing when he loaded it up. When my husband tried to take photos of it for the insurance company, John got irritated and told his helper to load it back into the truck and they speed off. I finally encouraged my insurance company to replace them with another plumbing company and so I am happy not to be finishing up my business with them.
Addition to this review: I made arrangements today for another plumber to install a water heater tomorrow and thought I was finally over this stressful situation. I came home today and was anticipating on a nice home cooked meal with my husband after a long day of work and a week of showering at different people's houses... boy did I thought wrong! I started to wash the vegetables in the kitchen sink while my husband was out in the garage area cleaning the BBQ pit... water spewing EVERYWHERE! Whatever John did, when I turn on the water in my house, water would flow like a geyser out of the water heater... from no hot water... to no water in the shower... to no water in my house at all!!! I AM FOLLOWING UP THIS COMPLAINT WITH ONE TO THE BBB.
A Dos Amigos... you are no amigo of mine!!!
