I was ask to pay additional money for mistake that was American Plumbing Company. I needed an automatic emergency shut down valve installed at my residence. They came out for the estimate and I was informed they located the main valve and they can do the installation. The next time they came to do the work, they discovered that the valve which they installed my unit was not done on the right location after all. I was informed they would need to call the county to see if they can get a map of where my main line was, but I needed to pay because the unit was installed and they would be back to finish. After 2 months later with no updates, I called them. They then told me that the county did not have a record; they would need to charge me additional fees to dig to find the main valve and relocate the unit to the proper location. I am confused when they did my estimate they stated they located the main valve and now I have to pay for their mistake to have my unit actually work as intended. This is super frustrating and the owner does not seem to care about correcting their plumbers mistakes since all they offer was ""discount"" on labor cost instead making things right.

My kitchen sink was backing up to my bathroom basin. I called America's Plumbing at 7 and Leonard was here by 8 AM. He diagnosed the problem and efficiently took care of it, and by 10 my house was back to normal. I can't recommend America's Plumbing highly enough. This was not the first time I've called them and every time my problem has been solved.

Requested service for a leaking drain pipe in kitchen on a Friday afternoon. Garrit (sp?) arrived as promised on Sat morning. Issue repaired within an hour! Great dependable service and cost was very fair. I would not hesitate to use or recommend this company in the future.

I contacted America's plumbing company for an emergency faucet water leak for my elderly father's home. They came out promptly and fixed the emergency job to help our elderly dad's situation. The tech Jorge Morales came out to do the job and he helped us tremendously with the situation and gave excellent advice. He's a top notch plumber and would recommend him and this company. They are really there to help the customer and they are quick, efficient, and honest people. I will definitely use them again as they are reasonably priced and really care about your issue with the goal to resolve the plumbing issue. Would highly recommend!

Was able to make a quick appointment, but my plumber not only could not clear my drain, but had not real solution to do so. He was guessing and his lack of confidence showed he had no idea, but suggested he do the same thing for another hour. I have used America's Plumbing in the past and had no issues, but this technician was definitely lacking the skill set needed to complete the job. That being said, I paid over $200 and I am in the same place I was before I called.

Edit: And this ones a DOOZY - read the history below for context but if you only read one thing - read this! So apparently, they DO have general liability insurance. Do I know that because they gave it to me willingly? NOPE! In fact they instructed their staff to lie to me (they have caller ID) when I called asking for it after being misleadingly told by the owner that I could find it on the SCLB. Their staff told me they do not have any. So, I had a family member fain interest in their services and require it in advance. BOOM a whole copy of a GL certificate with contact info and all! Of course, I filed a claim. What's absolutely hilarious is what happened next. The Owner's Kelly and Bryan provided a blanketed response to the BBB and SCLB - only AFTER their insurance contacted them, but get this - they LIED knowingly and rewrote the entire situation stating that my vanity was already moved away from the wall when Jorge got there and that now my husband helped Jorge move it back. That's not the funny part - the part that just tickles me inside is that they provided their OWN PROOF that they were lying already to me. The report they gave me post service showed before and after images of my plumbing and in both images my vanity was up against the wall. I won my claim they fought so hard for me to even be able to submit and now its going to cost them way more money than it would have if they just worked with me in the first place instead of flat-out denying liability and bullying me. Contract with these folk at your own risk but their services are a dime a dozen and know going into it that the entire staff is corrupt, they will lie to you - their own insurance - and state agencies knowingly and willingly. Jorge apparently wrote and signed an affidavit too - so they are all just big ol' liars.

this company is awesome!! I called and described the issue with my homes sewer lateral the lady was very nice and put me on the phone with a very nice and experienced guy named Tom after I gave tom the details he instantly knew i would need to get in touch with sac county sewer district for repairs so he actually called them with me on the phone and helped create a ticket for emergency services. the fact that after he realized only sac county sewer would be authorized to do the repairs and he still went out of the way to make sure me and my family were taken care of meant a lot to me!! I will definitely be contacting this company for future plumbing service needs. I haven't experienced this level of customer service from any company thanks Tom!
