We have a home warranty, and they contacted American Plumbing Solutions to fix our water heater. Before the repairman- which is one of the owners the lady answering the phone said, showed up, my husband talked to him, explained the problem, told him what type of water heater we had- a Bradford white, and sent him a screenshot of the serial number and brand. He showed up on time, went down to the basement, looked at the water heater then came back up. He said, he needed to get a part, and he was going to check the plumbing supply down the street and said he'd be right back. He asked me for the home warranty co-pay which was 85.00 and I wrote a check. The home warranty called and said the plumber doesn't work on our brand of water heater. What? So he knew before he came what brand it is, and he physically saw what brand it is- and after he receives payment- and lies saying he was going to plumbing store, decides he doesn't work on that brand? So this company is a scammer. When my husband talked to him, he was rude, and when we suggested we would just cancel the check, he said he'd call the police. Of course, the police could do nothing, it's a civil matter. The fact of the matter is, he could not provide the service, he knew he could not provide the service, lied to me ( and my daughter in law witnessed this as she was here) , and demanded payment anyway. He ripped off us and the warranty company- because when a new plumber comes out we won't have to pay the deductible again. Dishonest, and a rip off. UPDATE: They did return my money.

After filing a work order through our home warranty provider I was passed along to multiple plumbing employers that either no showed multiple appointments or would not return my calls. I reached out to our home warranty company one last time and was directed to American Plumbing Solutions. I was weary after reading a few negative customer reviews. My experience with them could not have been better, however. They were responsive, professional, arrived when they said they would, and fixed our issue the same day.

I would happily trust them again with any future plumbing needs and will recommend them to family and friends.

This plumbing company is a scam. It contracts with a home warranty company. It sends out a lazy, rude plumber. He does a perfunctory check of the plumbing hardware. He says he leaving to get the faucet; will be back in an hour. Six hours later the warranty company calls and states the plumber said the eighteen year old faucet, corroded and rusted in the inside was broken not through normal wear and tear but by negligence. American Plumbing Solution then offers to repair the problem for $500. (The home warranty
company charge$40 per month and only $125 for service calls.) This is the home of my 90 year old mother. I have contacted the circuit attorney's office. I advise everyone dealing with company to do the same. This company must be stopped. PS: I brought the facet part to Home Depot and one of its representatives certified the broken faucet was from normal wear and tear.

I had a leak out of my property, and they said they would come out and work on it. They would say a day and each time I would call they would act like they have never heard from me before. I was without water for a week, waiting on them. Then the just stopped taking my calls. These people are horrible, and everybody should listen to the bad reviews that everyone is posting about them. Companies like them should not be in business so other people like me will not have to put up with this crap.

If I could give zero stars I would but I can't. Came out for a home warranty on a leak in our stack. Warranty company said to expect them between 11-1 and the ""technician"" showed up at 10:28 a.m. and it would have been awesome if they actually called me in advance before just showing up. Tech had no tools of his own. Actually left multiple times to go buy tools to use. Cut a giant hole in my nursery room wall and as he was cutting into the wall cut into TWO water pipes. Made a comment before he said he cut the pipes saying ""I should have stayed home."" MADE THE LEAK WORSE!!!! Kept huffing as he was ""working"" as if this was an inconvenience. After he cut into the wall, said he couldn't fix anything today and that the company would call me back Monday to let me know when. Oh AND told me he ""doesn't repair the sheet rock. I'm only a plumber."" And that I would have to call the warranty company to have someone fix the hole.... Here I am 5 hours later after he was here for 2.5 hours and didn't do a dang thing and my toilet is now leaking!!!! Along with the original leak. I have a lot more negative things to say that he did but I'll save it. Not to mention the fact that I'm 8 months pregnant and have to figure out what the hell I'm suppose to do with a giant hole in my baby's nursery.

Absolutely horrid. No courtesy call in advance. Plumber came in with no tools, absolutely nothing. He was supposed to diagnose a water heater issue. I reported them to BBB for misconduct and fraud. That's what they are!

Terrible experience. We have a leaking hot water heater and the tech from American Plumbing Solutions was extremely rude and unprofessional. Showed up without notice, become aggravated when asked for ID, took one look at the hot water heater and left without providing further information. After calling the home warranty for clarification, we were told American Plumbing Solutions ""doesn't replace hot water heaters in two-story buildings,"" which is an interesting comment when we live in a 3 story building and they were in my home for less than 5 minutes. Completely unprofessional and couldn't recommend less. I could've paid a cat to do a better job

Was assigned to this company through my home warranty. Scheduled and appt. for 1-3p.m. Get a phone call from the plumber at 11:40am wanting to start early. This was not possible for me so I said no. Set up for my grandmother to be there. She arrived at 1:20. Yes, that was late. But when I called the plumbing company to see why the plumber didn't call me before he left. The owner gets on the phone and tells me his guy was there from 12:30pm to 1:25pm and that he did call me. (LIE!) And that he doesn't pay his guy to sit and that they REFUSE TO SERVICE MY HOME NOW. Like I did something wrong??
According to the timeline my Home Warranty company called me at 1:17pm and I spoke to them they had stated the guy called me and knocked on the door and no one was home. (He never called me, I have phone records to prove it) if he had I would have told him my grandma was right there. She had arrived at 1:19 according to my ring video and her text to me stating she was there at 1:20 (the window was from 1-3 and he was gone by 1:17 according to my home warranty company) But he can call me to get started and hour early and sit there for 40 minutes before my appt. started? I have ring video records to prove he was not there at 1:25. The owner was extremely rude to me and just sided with his guy. In my experience with customer service the customer is always right. They are completely unprofessional! I was blown away!
The home warranty company called them to try and re-schedule and they still refused to service my home. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise! Now I am waiting for the new company to schedule me.

Horrible vendor through my home warranty. They came out to fix an easy ""blockage"" on my sink but they weren't here for 5 minutes before stating that lead was disintegrating the pipes and they'd have to go through the wall to replace them. My warranty company reached out to them several times for 2 WEEKS and couldn't get a diagnosis from them to get the work started. The woman who answers their phone line would also never give me a straight answer and would say ""I'll call you back in 30 minutes"" and would never call back. I finally called my home warranty company and told them to refuse this vendor for my home. I now have a ""stoppage"" tech coming out within days to fix the real problem---a stoppage. This company is very shady. Beware!

Terrible!!! If I could give them zero stars I would! We had a reoccurring problem with our tub leaking into our kitchen area. They were the company sent by our warranty company 2-10. Seems to be a theme on here.. Problem fixed incorrectly the first time which has caused damage to our ceiling. The owner ""Ken"" refused to take any responsibility and said, and I quote, ""A lot can happen over a couple of months.. your house could have moved..."" Not to mention it took three days for anyone from American Plumbing to call me back. I've contacted 2-10 and they have offered to make it right. If you have a warranty with 2-10 and need a plumber, make sure you ask for someone else if you're assigned these slackers.
