Can't tell you how much I appreciate their short window of when they said they would come and fix our gas leak. They said between 2 pm and 3 pm and that they would call before they arrived - they did better than that they called and said they could come earlier.

David Perata was our service technician very professional nice and did not mind my badly behaved dog. Quick, prompt and courteous what more could you ask for?

OMG. The Best....Robert Corlee came over cleaned and checked out my heater. What a nice guy. Was polite and on time. I bought my service on Amazon local. I will recommend him to all my friends thanks American plumbing for hiring this great guy. :)

About a month ago, I had American Plumbing come out to look at my AC unit that had stopped working. The repair man told me the compressor had seized and that I would need a brand new unit. The cost would be at least $2200! My unit is only 6 yrs old so I decided to get a second opinion and I'm really glad I did. Another company was able to repair my existing AC unit for under $200. Needless to say I won't be calling American Plumbing again.

No phone call when plumber couldn't show up. Wasted 2 1/2 hours waiting on Saturday afternoon.

I had a mixed experience with American plumbing. My rental condo had a small leak at an outside hose bib. For some reason, the unit did not have its own shut off so the water to the entire complex had to be shut off. I made this abundantly clear to the girl on the phone. On the day of my appointment, I was required to be at the unit and assumed they were there during the appointment time. But I got a call from the plumber 40 minutes past the appointment window telling me his previous job had taken longer than expected and he was just then going to my unit. I explained that the water was due to be turned back on in 15 minutes. He said he would still go to the unit to diagnose the problem. The property management company was really upset that the water would have to be shut off for 200+ units on a second day.

The plumber said he would call the office and have someone call me to set up another appointment. But nobody called. So I called the next morning and explained the problem of the wager having to be shut off again to the whole community. The girl told me she had left me a voice mail over an hour before the scheduled appointment time. I was with my phone all day and didn't get a call. So then I talked to the owner and the girl had told him she left two voice mails! I looked at my cell account and there were no calls at all that morning. I told the owner and sent him my bill so he could see that the girl had lied.

In the end they fixed the leak. But they couldn't get the ground strap off the old pipe. So they shoved the old pip with the ground strap behind the stucco and left it. They called me and told me to fix it. Then they left the drywall mess on the floor. I know they don't fix the drywall but they should clean up after themselves, right?

The good - the plumber was apologetic and friendly. The owner went to the second appointment with the plumber to make sure there would be no problems causing the water to have to be shut off a third time.

The bad - they lied about calling me, they missed an appointment causing 200+ people to be without water on two days instead of one, they couldn't fix the ground strap, they didn't clean up the drywall.

I would not use this company again.

Also, I have another plumber going out to fix the ground strap. This company said they would never leave the pipes the way American Plumbing did.

I recently took on a bathroom remodel project in our new home and unfortunately discovered old, leaky plumbing that needed to be updated. Being new to the area, I searched yelp for a plumber and based on the reviews I read, decided to try American Plumbing. I was pleasantly surprised when I called, spoke to a very warm and friendly receptionist (sorry, I can't remember her name!) and got an appointment that same day! Armando arrived in the earlier part of the two hour window they gave me, called just prior to arrival, like I'd requested (I had a baby sleeping, and two dogs I wanted to get outside before he came in) and he was awesome. Right away he diagnosed the problem, explained what he would do, and gave me very direct, exact pricing for the job, which I felt was fair and honest. He had to run to the store for a few parts but had the whole job done in about an hour and a half (including the trip to the store). He was very polite about asking if/when I was ready for the water to be shut off. All in all, he did a great job on fixing the leak and installing my new faucet. Side note: my remodel looks great! Armando even took extra time to discuss some other concerns I have with the new house, and at no extra charge. He was very personable and polite and I felt very confident that I could trust him, his company, and his work. I will definitely be calling American Plumbing again when it comes time to tackle those projects. Thank you Armando for fixing my sink before the downstairs flooded!! And for helping me finish my bathroom in time to surprise my husband ; )

The central air heater was not coming on and it was starting to get into the cold months ""November"". I found American Plumbing on Yelp and decided to give a call. The tech was out to my house exactly on time and was very friendly as well as knowledgeable and professional! It turned out to be a bad circuit board and was back with the new the next day. He also went the extra mile and saw some areas in the heater that needed to be sealed up. He did not charge us for the sealing. The price for the repair was very reasonable. I would call them again. Great service!!!!

I use American Plumbing Heating & Air a few times a month to fix issues at properties that I manage (both plumbing and heating/AC) and they always do a great job. I'm able to give them a quick call or email and they take care of the rest. Staff is great and if I ever need something quick, they make it happen. All good!
