Highly recommend! Below is my story.

Did a bathroom remodel that involved removing a tub deck and replacing it with a freestanding tub. About half way through the project the plumber I hired (not American Plumbing) stopped returning my calls and I was left with a half finished bathroom with plumbing lines sticking out of the wall. It was a bad situation to say the least.

I called American Plumbing. They came out within a few days. The estimator was extremely nice but honest that he wasn't sure about how my tub/drain situation was gonna work given how the job had been started. He decided to have his colleague come out and look the next day.

The next day I got a call from Eric who wanted to try and understand the situation. I explained and he sent Josh out that day.

Josh came out assessed the situation gave me a fair estimate, and explained what he'd do to fix things and give me a functional tub and tub spout. He and his colleague Beau came out a week later. The did a fantastic job and explained to me what they were doing and made sure to get my input on tub/spout positioning.

We are VERY happy about how things turned out. Will definitely use their services and highly recommend them to friends and family. Appreciate their willingness to take on a job that was complicated and do it well.

We had an urgent problem with a faucet in our house. Rob, a technician from American Plumbing, repaired the problem within about 3.5 hours of me making a phone call to the company. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and friendly, and Rob was especially professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and in a manner that didn't make me feel stupid for asking a question. He educated me about the situation so that should another faucet have the same problem occur, I will be able to prevent excessive water loss and save money on the water bill, until a tech can make the repair. The cost was quite reasonable given the urgency of the matter. Overall, my experience with American Plumbing was calming and very impressive - Kudos to Rob! I would highly recommend American Plumbing!!

I called in reference to a recall on my water heater. While the plumber was on his way I discovered my garbage disposal was leaking. I reconnected with American and was told they could handle both. Jose made quick work of both jobs and was very professional. I just found me a new plumber!

Yet the owner of American Plumbing was kind enough to reach to me with nothing but professionalism, so I went back to see how I could make such an error and realized I have the wrong company the review. I apologize to American Plumbing and appreciate your Do diligence

If I could, I'd give 6 stars to American Plumbing for their flexibility and scheduling when we had an issue with our water heater. Most of all, it was Rob, who deserves kudos for a job well done, his professionalism, and sharing his wealth of knowledge. There aren't enough positive comments I could say that would accurately portray our gratefulness and satisfaction.

I live in the outer part of Oakley, so it's $165 for a visit. But if you have to have repair they may wrap it into your bill. They were quick to make an appointment and the service was professional and well done and explained everything. I didn't feel I was overcharged for getting my water heater going again...

A little disappointed! Normally I would rate American Plumbing with five stars but..... We noticed our kitchen sink was leaking underneath at 8:30 in the evening! Ugggg! We turned the knobs under the sink for immediate shut off but the hot water was still leaking at a good rate so I called American Plumbing since they are 24/7. When the technician finally called me about 40 minutes later, he tried to talk me out of having him come. He walked me through the steps that we had already tried and ended up telling me to just put a bucket under the sink and call first thing in the morning.
We were willing to pay but seems like he just didn't want to come out. Ended up calling our local handyman and he gladly came out and charged much less!

Our washer decided to go out on Saturday and when we disconnected it the hot water line did not want to turn all the way off no matter what we did. We spent hours going to Home Depot etc.... My husband finally was able to get the water all the way off and this morning I called American Plumbing and they were at my home within 1 hour and repaired at a VERY RESONABLE COST.
THANK YOU SO MUCH AMERICAN PLUMBING. I will absolutely recommend you to anyone needed plumbing service.

American Plumbing is the only company who gets the weird workings of my building's pipe system. I had a clogged sink, and John was able to come out same day to check it out. He seemed genuinely disappointed that he couldn't resolve the blockage, and scheduled a follow up appointment to try and access the pipes through the wall. Amazingly, he managed to snag the clog with a longer cable, sparing my innocent living room wall and saving me money on drywall. Quick, friendly, and competent. A+!
