I used Greg in the Thousand Oaks area (805-965-1000) to locate a slab leak I had. He was professional, knowledgeable and showed up on time. He was able to mark the areas for my plumber to use and I would not hesitate to use him again. His price was a bit higher than the competition (Pinpoint), but I was confident with his services.

We had a hot water leak in our concrete slab. ALD was one of two companies our insurance company recommended.

Greg, an owner of the company, came within 24 hours of our call. He brought sophisticated heat and sound detection equipment and located the leak within minutes, but he didn't stop there, performing other tests and asking many questions.

Within another day, we had a plumber who rerouted and replaced pipes, needing to remove our vanity and backsplash, breaking into the drywall.

Total cost was $1600, in line with other companies who couldn't respond as quickly.

Minor damage to the drywall was professionally repaired at no additional cost, and Greg noticed very minor scratches (not readily visible) to the floor which he also is insisting on repairing.

From the front office personnel to the owner to the plumber to the Drywaller, our experience was well beyond expectations.

Our out-of-pocket expenses were less than what we would have paid utilizing our insurance, which had we filed a claim, would have resulted in significantly higher premiums.

We were, in two words, extremely satisfied.

Honey STOP THE CAR!! ONLY use THIS company for ANY PLUMBING issues! rates/fees are great! Greg and his team are AMAZING! I know nothing about plumbing so when I called the office ...WOW the woman (sorry didn't get her name) was so understanding, patient, and knowledgeable when I explained my plight! I had a stripped water shutoff valve to my house, and needed info on where my pipes were going into my garage area (getting ready for an ADU conversion), and also asked to check the water pressure and if any leaks were present in my home. All items were taken care of with perfection! Also fixed a small leak in an outdoor faucet without fee! This company is an honest and super knowledgeable crew!
