Answered call and scheduled within 48 hours then received a call they could come earlier. Technician was incredible. Super pleasant, I asked a ton of questions and he was excited to answer them. Clearly loved his job. Found the leak within an hour using a fascinating system. When I dug the hole the leak was EXACTLY where he thought it was. Important to know American Leak finds the leak but doesn't fix it. For the big job to fix it, I was quoted a firm $2800 by a different company. I was able to do dig the hole with a friend in 3 hours on Saturday morning and fixed the leak in a PVC pipe for under $15. Total repair $400 to American Leak and $15 for the repair.

I had an obvious leak in the supply line to my building under the slab. I called American Leak Detection. They had an appointment 3 days out, so I took it. Not happy about 3 more days of water use, but ok I get it everyone is busy. Tech showed up on time and marked an area in the entry way. Seemed a bit off to me, but ok. I am not the expert. I was told that I would get the report in 24 to 48 hours. I was not happy about the wait as it would now be a week of water use. (bill was over $1000) After 3 days I called and left messages. Finally got a call back and was told, that he was too busy to get a report out and just have plumbers call him. Ok Finally have plumbers out and they start to excavate where it was marked. Guess what NO PIPE was found. The next day the plumbers found the leak outside of the building and fixed it.
I only got the report when I got my bill. A full 2 weeks after the leak was fixed. The report just said dig here and call me if there is no leak. I paid $1000 for a late report that was totally wrong and just said call me. It also cost me an extra week of water usage and an extra day of plumbers time.

I would have been much better off not using their service at all.

Wish I could give negative stars. What a rip off. Never again.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I am really impressed with this company! Ben was a true professional, and arrived when he said he would. He found our leak within minutes, and advised us on what we should do next. It's so nice to know that there are still companies that really care about their customer. If we ever need this service again, we will definitely call American Leak Detection!

The City of Monroe notified us of a significant increase in water usage. On the recommendation of a neighboring business, who had had a similar problem, I contacted American Leak Detection (ALD). A telephone call to their office led to a quick and friendly reply. They quickly set up a visit by their technician, who did a thorough search of the building's water lines, for a fixed price, that let to the discovery of a leak under the parking lot outside the building. We hired a contractor to fix the leak that ALD had identified.

The good thing is that ALD is focused on finding leaks, and they do not have an incentive to prolong and increase the cost of fixing the problem.

I had a huge water leak between the meter and my house which is about 100 feet. The water department could not locate it and my bill was over $800 higher. They suggested American Leak Detection out of Seattle. I called them, they came out the next day and located the leak within 4 inches. I could not believe how accurate they were. Fantastic service. I highly recommend them.

My main water line sprung a leak. I only knew about it when I got a huge water bill. I looked on the web and found American Leak Detection and called. They were able to make an appointment the next day. Brandon arrived on time and within 15 minutes he had detected where my water line leak was. He pin pointed the spot and I started digging. Although it was 4 1/2 feet down, he was right on. I was extremely happy with the service I received from American Leak Detection. If they had not been able to detect the location of the water line leak, I would have had to take up a paver patio in order to determine where the water was coming from.. This saved me thousands of dollars to replace the pavers. If there ever is another leak I will definitely call American Leak Detection.
