The guy came out in time within the window they gave me. He was clean and nice. Explained the steps he was doing. Found the issue of where my leak is coming from. I am very happy I had them come out. This saves me a lot of money and trouble. I highly recommend using them. Very professional and reasonable. Thanks guys.

I used them back in April 2019 to find a leak that I was having in my Koi pond. They showed up on time and first did a test to make sure that there was not a leak in the drain or return back to the pond. The told me that there was not a leak in the pipes and that they would have to go in the water and do a dye test to find a crack in the concrete. They spent about 45 minutes in the water and were not able to find the leak. The cost for this was $350.
Even though originally told me to fill up the pond to the intended top level before my appointment, they now told me to let it drain until it stopped leaking so they could investigate further and that I only had 30 days to call them back. Since the pond is 3000 gallons, it took 45 days to drain back to the original spot. I called them but they told me it would cost me another $250 to come out and check again.
I just wanted it fixed so I called them the week after but I never got a call back. I also called the employee who originally came out and he also never called me back.
I decided to put spend $600 and put a coat of Pond Armor myself on the pond since American Leak Detection claimed it was in the concrete, but it continued to leak.
I decided to test the drains myself and ended up doing three tests with a few 2 inch stoppers. I determined that one of the pvc fittings in one of the drain had a 1/4 inch gap. I bought a $5 container of JD Weld epoxy for pvc, and the next day I did not have a leak anymore.
7 months later, I finally fixed my pond but I spent extra money based on American Leak Detection steering me in the wrong direction. The leak was in the drain and that was the first thing they ruled out. I also feel that they charged me even though they never found the leak in the first place. I can't recommend them .

Stop and look elsewhere! Sadly this company doesn't really seem to care about finding leaks only about collecting their money. The technician who came out today didn't even stay a full hour, most of it was spent unloading tools and filling out paper work in his truck which I guess they count as part of the 1 hour. We were then charged for an hour and a half iao $425 only to not have been able to find the source of the leak. They couldn't even begin to tell us where the leak could be and just hypothesized. It would be $195 an hour if he came out again. But at this point we are extremely disappointed. We trusted this company in a desperate effort to find the source of the problem and they only took advantage that.

This place is a TOTAL SCAM and handle themselves embarrassingly unprofessional. DO NOT CALL THEM! I still have a voicemail left by their loser technician calling me a ""pus*y"" and ""f**king asshole"" after showing up to the job stoned and nearly fell into the pool. Their ill-tempered office manager Sheila Busheri called yelling at me that the pool wasn't full enough to check for leaks and ""what part of her instructions didn't I understand."" She tried charging us for the visit after doing NOTHING then hung up on me when I explained the pool was just serviced and cleaned yesterday. In other words, the LEAK COMPANY was pissed that the pool was leaking!??? Awful company and rude staff - STAY AWAY!

Called American Leak Detection and received same day inspection. Paul P. their field field tech showed up o schedule and was friendly, nice and extremely professional. He did a thorough inspection downstairs where water was dripping as well as upstairs bathroom area (shower, tub, toilet, sink) and outside stucco, water heater. We were relieved to know the problem and hope that once report gets drafted and sent to insurance ASAP we will be able to move forward with repairs. No hot water is no fun. But happy we used American Leak Detection.

Ryan Chaffin was the Field Technician that came to my house and assessed the leak and damages. Ryan was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the damages that needed to be repaired. He did a great job and answered all of my questions. I would absolutely recommend Ryan and American Leak Detection to a friend or family member.

Their Field Technician, Paul, came out when it was raining. Did a pressure test. Ran the water; no leak. He then went on the roof and found broken tiles and declared to me that the roof was the source/cause. My solar company's roof subcontractor came out and redid the roof but found no leaks. They stated there were layers of tar paper and composite asphalt shingles under the roofing tiles. 3 months later the same leak is happening again and there has been no rain for 3 months. Turns out it was a copper cold water pressurized pipe. American Leak Detection refused to take responsibility and tried to charge me $350 again to come out.

Very disappointed in their service. Came out 3 times to trace line to tell Plummer which manifold was the problem. We're unable to give us correct info. Had to hire another service to get it right. Had to remove more stucco an d make extra repairs due to their error.
When we asked for money back they say they can only refund half back.
Only reason I give them 2 stars instead of one... they at least responded back in time.

Run, don't walk, away from this company. I have a pool in Agoura Hills. American Leak Detection repaired the ""leak"" in my pool without doing a detection first. $1500 later the pool was still leaking. I had to go with another company who actually stopped a leak that American Leak Detection never found. This ended up in court.

I had American leak detection out today for a pool inspection, they located my leak and explained everything that needed to be done, they arrived on time and their technician was great, I would recommend them to anyone having a pool leak!
