Great job with the leak destruction and slab repair. 50+ year old Eichler, hot water pipe leak. They were able to detect the leak spot on through the hardwood floor and slab. Repair was efficient. There was a slight clog in the hot water line at the kitchen but I was able to DIY fix.

Our smart meter detected a leak (~1 gallon per minute) and after some investigation I narrowed it down to the main water line underground between the meter and the home. The problem is that it is at a fair distance, in somewhat steep terrain.

Contacting a couple of local plumbing companies but they could not come out for days. I contacted ALD (great phone service BTW) and, although initially scheduled for the next day, they were able to squeeze me in the same day.

Nicholas did an excellent job locating the leak (a very small hole) using professional equipment and gas. He was so good, I decided to also have them repair it, which they did.

The work was excellent and professional and the cost was, I think, reasonable given the circumstances.

Separately, I also endorse my Flume Water Monitoring device. Alerted me right away and probably saved me thousands if I had to wait until the next bill from the water company.

ALD from this site was hired to repair our pool skimmer due to a leak. We paid $3485 total for all the work done in 2015. Warrantee was for 2 years.
There has been a measurable leak again for many recent months and we finally decided to ask ALD to check it. When we called, we were told that they had a note in our file ""not to return to this customer"". No reason was given and we are baffled as to why they are blackballing us. We paid every bill in full and were happy with the work. We hired another company and learned that the repairs done by ALD were sub-par (""skimmer was resting on a bed of sand""). Also should have lasted longer than five years (around 15 yrs. average). Repairs have been done to the tune of another $2900 and not one drop of water has leaked since. We are not pool experts and trusted ALD to do the right thing, so my advice is to steer clear of them if you can't spare another several thousand dollars of repairs.

Didn't find any leak or cause of moisture issue, but helped eliminate a lot of potential causes. Very thorough, professional. Gave me some peace of mind at least. Oh and they scheduled and showed up very quickly after I called!

This company did such a great job. Took a great intake, sent someone who squeezed me in. The technician was fantastic. Found the leak quickly and wrote a report detailing the whole thing. Probably no one wants to call for a leak, but these people were professional, kind and extremely competent. Wish I could give another star. Kathie

It's NEVER fun to get a leak. But if you have one this is the place to call. This is the second time I've used ALD and, once again, they surpassed my expectations. This is a two step process. 1) Finding the leak which is hardly ever easy and 2) providing a quote to fix it.

This particular job entailed finding a leak underneath a concrete slab for the PVC pipes that run my irrigation system. Mike came out and spent well over an hour just finding the leak and quoting a price to fix it. I got other quotes to repair this and in the end I used ALD as Mike was already very familiar with it and there price was very reasonable.

Mike came back a few days later and it took pretty much all day to fix it after running into complications with roots and old pipes all jumbled together. But he got it all sorted out, tested it and patched the hole in the concrete.

As I said, getting a leak is never fun but with ALD on the job you know everything will be fine.

We called out ALD to detect a leak in our home. They requested $400 for the first two hours. They finished within half an hour and gave us the incorrection location of the leak. We tore out our walls to fix this leak only to learn out water heater was the source of the leak.

Despite this egregious mistake we were still charged the $400. Would not recommend to anyone.
