I called the number posted on yelp and there is a guy called Vince picked up the call 20 min ago. He was not patient at all. Very rude and aggressive when I tried to offer more information about the leak I had recently. He kept talking on top of me. When I asked him to stop being rude to me, he argued and became more aggressive. This was the first time I have ever encountered situation like this in my area. This guy doesn't represent this company and should be fired right away.

We had a leak that our usual plumber could not locate so he recommended American Leak Detection. They got me an appointment like two days out which I thought was great, they found the leak within minutes. They gave me a quote for the repair and I called them later and they got me an appointment 2 weeks out. Which they moved up 12 days to make it two days out which I also thought was amazing.
Trevor came out this morning and he was great! Very friendly and professional and kept me informed throughout the job. He did a fantastic job fixing the problem and went above and beyond as far as I'm concerned!
I would without a doubt 100% recommend American Leak Detection to anyone looking for help with locating and fixing any plumbing leak you have! If all their employees are as friendly and professional as Trevor was they are in very good shape! Thank you again Trevor for the great work you did and thank you American Leak Detection for being so prompt and fair with your pricing!

I had a leak in an irrigation pipe running under a slab, I can identify the general location but Andrew from American Leak detection came and using his listening equipment and using a gas, he managed to pin point the leak and mark it down. Once we removed the concrete and revealed the pipe leak. It was within 4"" from Andrew's mark. This was pretty impressive!

Initially left a one star rating for this business. But I had a follow up call from them and they were very caring and sent a tech to fix the problem they created during the first visit. They did not locate the leak but clarified that they only find leaks in the plumbing and not the waterfall structure. They offered partial refund and settled the matter amicably.

We had a huge water bill last month and knew we had a leak but saw no visible evidence of water. Most plumbers don't do leak detection so we reached out to American Leak Detection. Their team responded immediately and sent someone out first thing the next morning. The employee was so knowledgeable and passionate about the work. He explained the process, confirmed we had a leak, and gave us the leak's precise location. Our insurance ended up covering the cost of their service so it's worthwhile to check your coverage!

While I hope you never need a leak detection company, it is reassuring to have a company like this when you need help! Highly recommend!

Today, I had my first experience working with North Bay & Peninsula American Leak Detection, after we suspected a water leak. The technician came on time, quickly realized we were looking at the wrong meter, and explained to us there's no leak. In addition, he also turned on the sprinkler system and asked us to flush all the toilets in the house to make sure nothing is leaking there. He was very helpful and courteous, and the whole service experience was very pleasant. Next time, if, god forbid, we have a real water leak, they'll be the first company we call

These guys are real pros. Not inexpensive, but they know what they're doing. I used them years ago (another branch) and remembered how good they were. When i discovered that I had a small leak in my irrigation system recently, I called them and they quickly responded and found it. Well done.

Horrible service. They come for a visit and claimed to find a leak and made a patch. It completely did not work. We were travelling out of the country and it was raining so we did not follow up immediately afterwards. They refuse to come back to recheck for free and want to charge $695 for a recheck.
Save your $695 and look for someone more reliable and responsible

I am writing this review in response to a call from a person from American Leak Detection (ALD) who read my review about my dissatisfaction and the result of the ALD visit and the charge that I paid. The person (lady's name I do not have) was honestly concerned that I was not happy. She then did something that I considered exception for a business today. She offered a refund of over half of the charge I paid -- and I see she did indeed credit my charge card. Kudos to you Ms. ???. I think that says positive ""volumes"" about her company and her concern for the reputation of ALD. If you ask me would I call upon them again, my answer would be YES. Now to increase the concern that ALD has for the property they visit, I would suggest that when a ALD worker enters the house, they put protective booties on their shoes. That shows, in my opinion, that the company is a class act and respects their client's property. The best to you Ms. ???, and ADL.
