Recommended Customer Reviews

I came home one evening last week to find that my water heater had decided it was no longer for this world, and I had water all over my garage floor.
After calling a few plumbing companies (to get prices & availability), I contacted American Home Water & Air (they have an emergency number). I spoke with Tom, who said he could have someone out to my place the next day. He gave me a 2-hour window for arrival time, but said they would call if they could come out earlier. He also gave me a quote over the phone for replacement of the water heater, and their pricing was lower than the other companies I had contacted.
The next morning I was contacted by Angel, who said he could be at my home around 9am- and he showed up promptly! He was professional, took the time to answer my questions and advise me on how to maintain my new water heater, and cleaned up everything when he was finished.
Andgel did an excellent job, the price was just as quoted (even though the job took awhile), and I can confidentally give this company (and Angel) a 2-thumbs up!

I called a bunch of companies looking for water heater replacement and installation. The quotes were all over the map from over $1100.00 to $640.00. I liked all the reviews on American so I gave them a try and they were the best price. They came out the same day and Angel was the installer. Our old water heater stand was bolted to the wall which we didn't know, so Angel had to saw off the bolts by hand. What a job. It took him a while but we were so grateful that he stuck with it and did the job without complaining. Really went beyond what was expected of him. I don't know about the quality of the actual water heater, but the installation was fabulous.

Quick and easy RO filter change service. The tech arrived timely (next day appointment), was professional, knowledgeable, and finished very quickly. I'm happy with the service, but there are two things worth mentioning feedback wise. First, I had to ask for them to test my water quality coming out of the RO. I'm surprised that as a completely new client with a 8 year old unit they wouldn't test the water to see if my RO system was performing as it should. It only takes seconds. The tech did test it after I requested that he do so. Second, I'm a bit disappointed that they don't bleach out/flush the system to give it a good cleaning. Perhaps that's unnecessary, but I like the peace of mind of that killing/disinfecting anything potentially growing in the system as something that runs and stores purified (no chlorine) water 24/7. In addition, it is something most of the manufacturers recommend. After mentioning it, the tech stated that in my area they don't generally do that because it's unnecessary. I've had those two services performed automatically with other companies. My 10 minute service cost about $100 (including filters but not membrane). This isn't a bad price, I'm just used to additional service during these filter changes.

Highly recommended.
My old A/C unit was 22 years old but started failing in August. Darrin came out on a courtesy call and helped me get it fixed up enough to limp through the summer. Darrin and the sales team measured and walked me through my options which was very good comparative to others and they put the cost of parts from my previous repair against the purchase.
Darrin and the installation team were professional and got the installation done in the proper time frame and Darrin checked back later in the day to make sure everything was running well. In the winter, I had a minor issue with the settings when I first turned the furnace on. Darrin came over and helped adjust it.
I'm very pleased so far with the unit and the customer service. A/C problems can be a major pain and the cost to replace can be a roadblock. American Home Water and Air was extremely accommodating and helped me get my A/C unit updated in a way that fit my budget.

We are very please with this AHWA company. They're a great team every one of the workman was nice and they'll answer all your questions, after we have installed the AC System, ours house really have a clean smelling air, my husband and I was very surprised, we both were very happy, it's just we don't have any pet in home but you still can tell the air was different from before, you can tell it right the way, we will recommend to all ours friend and to whoever reading these reviews! Thank you to AHWA giving us such a great confidence to their job, by the way they're on time to be at your front door as they said they would! They're trust worthy company, so far so good we are pleased with their work!

Very Professional.A little expensive, but I think they offer you excellent service. We picked patriot water softener since it is a little cheaper than President, but Tom assured me that Patriot is as good as President. They offer great warranty, no trip charges, nothing. They truly deserve 5 star reviews.

I had a 50 gallon gas water heater that had failed and also caused some water damage. I called these guys at 10 in the morning and they were able to get to my house by 1 PM a little earlier than promised. They replaced my old water heater and fixed the water damage, replaced a shutoff valve, and still honored their originally quoted price. The replacement water heater had better controls than the one they replaced. There technician was professional, friendly and quick. I am very happy with the work that was done.

A breath of fresh air.....
The guys in the office were professional and made service a priority. We called late in the after noon and asked for services they do not normally perform and still gave an they still gave us an accurate quote.
Higinio was a great tech.
Lightning fast and quality work. Answered all our questions in a pro and caring way.
We plan to call on these guys in the future when needed... Thanks

Eight years of horrible noise and vibration from the HVAC system. After we unfortunately had a new unit installed by a cousin eight years ago (NEVER mix business and family!), it made such a huge vibration that it could be heard throughout the house, and one bedroom was so noisy it could not be slept in, even with ear plugs. We honestly didn't know how we could sell or rent the house this way. We had two AC companies out long ago, both of which said they improved the situation, liars! I was reluctant to call AHWA because I mostly saw excellent reviews about water treatment systems and I needed a real HVAC EXPERT to get to the bottom of this problem. But this was our only opportunity to work on it so I called. They explained that there would be a $90 service charge no matter what. I hate hearing that when you know there's a good chance they can't fix it. Darrin came out and went up on the roof to see what was going on. He was up there for quite a while. Came back down and said he fixed it. We turned on the AC and ...NO NOISE!!! It did turn out to be an installation problem (stupid cousin!) that took an expert to diagnose. Sooooo glad we called AHWA. Oh, and the final bill, $90!

I am a realtor and have use this company not only for myself but have clients who have used them as well. The nice thing is you can buy your tank and install it yourself or have handyman do it as well. Hot water tanks are a common problem in the valley because of our hard water here they tend to need to be replaced every 8 to 10 years. BEST PRICES I HAVE SEEN!
