Now the story-
My washer had been leaking water for the last 1-2 loads. And I had been looking for help. I had identified the issue to an extent, but was unable to fix it, because I have fractures on my back.
So I 'YELPED' for help, and looking at the best reviews, I called up Raheb. Even though he was away from work on Personal family event, he took time to answer my call, and later messaged me an appointment time for Sunday.
He came right on time, and looked at the problem. Helped fix it, and checked it again. I was already impressed at his work.
I was expecting some labor cost, but he did not take a single penny from me, saying 'I did nothing'. He did this free.

Now Raheb becomes my go to guy for all the plumbing work.

I was looking for a quote to have my bathroom piping reworked and tried a few local services. In the end I went with American home Plumbing - good choice.

Raheb came round for the initial quote within 24hrs. After some haggling he undercut the best alternative quote. The job he did was amazing. Note only did Raheb rework the plumbing, he installed the bath tub which was not part of the original quote. Moreover, during the day he was very patient when I had to go and by additional components - my bath tub required some whacky non-standard overflow pipe assembly. On completion of the work he offered to come back free of charge and fit the tap/shower attachments once I had completed the tiling.

As he spent many more hours than I anticipated the work would take, I offered Raheb more money for the job - he did not accept.

I cannot recommend this company enough.

Raheb was willing to come out on a weekend to install our water filter. He also services outside of San Jose. Some plumbers don't work weekends or only service a certain area, so this was a great convenience. Raheb came on time, gave us a quote and got to work. 3.5 hrs later, filter was installed. He even used a snake camera to show me that there was no leak from the new fittings. The whole time he answered my questions and I learned a few things for myself. Overall, pretty good. Recommended!!!

I called and Rahib said he'd try to work me in on New Year's Eve, which sounded great especially on short notice. Unfortunately he wasn't able to because of another job, so he said that he could show up at 8:30 AM on the day after New Year's instead. In light of the holiday and my difficulty in finding someone else, that sounded okay. This morning he didn't show up, didn't call, his voice mailbox is full, and he did not respond to a text message. I can respect that on short notice, someone may not be able to fit me into the schedule. If they tell me as much, that's no big deal; I can find another plumber to help me out. But when someone does give me a specific time they're going to show up, I expect them to be there. This experience did not impress me at all.

I found Rahib from American Home plumbing on Yelp and was very pleased with his service. He was professional, his quote was reasonable and most importantly did the job well.

I'd strongly recommend him if you're looking for a plumber.

When my usual go-to plumber did not respond to my voice message after more than a day, I called American Home Plumbing based on the great reviews here. SO glad I did!

Raheb answered my call and said he could come over by 4:30 the same day, and instead he arrived around 2:30, just a couple of hours after my call. There was a leak under my sink which he could easily fix. I also explained that I had a couple of other problems that I've been wanting to take care of for a long time but just hadn't gotten around to them. I thought he'd have to come back another day to take care of those things but said he could fix all of it at the same time and gave me a quote. He was able to not only stop the leak but fix the other problems within a couple hours, and even charged me less than he quoted (unheard of, right?).

I would definitely recommend Raheb, especially for those who have a plumbing job that needs immediate attention.

Rahib is as good as it gets. Arrived promptly, professional, friendly, solution oriented plumber.

I needed a kitchen faucet hooked up along with a garbage disposal and an under the sink reverse osmosis water filtration system.

At first, I was looking for a best quote from multiple plumbers and Rahib was onsite for an estimate. He did not pressure me to do the work even after matching my best quote. In fact, he said we can schedule something for the next day and that will give me time to find a better quote if I choose. Rahib was the guy for this job!

He took time to make sure everything was functioning properly. That water filtration was a finicky one and he took care of it with precision and care. In fact, there were two parts he got (one from his truck and another from a store) that he did not charge me for.

And there's one more, he helped install two outlets to match my kitchen countertops because I had the parts there. He did not charge.

An honest plumber who knows his work depends on word of mouth. I will be referring business his way.

Maybe I'll help create a marketing slogan for him, he does service with a smile.

You have to at least give American Home Plumbing Service a call.

I agree with all of these reviews. Rahib was phenomenal. I called in the morning..45 minutes later he was here to evaluate the issue. I needed a new water heater (mine was way past it's prime). He came back in the afternoon and not only installed a new water heater but also noticed an issue with my washing machine and fixed that as well. It was very hot outside and all the parts around my water heater were old, but he did an impeccable job. He told me 'he works on his customer's homes as if it were his own.' It's true and it's rare to get that kind of service these days. Highly recommend American Home Plumbing Service.
