Connie ( business owner) is an absolute professional, knowledgeable and thorough. She and her assistant arrived as scheduled, assessed our problem ( unidentified leak as tagged by golden state water company) and provided a comprehensive assessment , solution and costs. ( we had a previous plumbing company assess the problem without crawling under the house and quoting thousands of dollars for the repair ). We are so pleased to have found her company. Wow! I'm completely floored by the professionalism, courtesy, and expertise provided by Connie and Lalo.

We had a crack in our sewage line and other plumbers recommended a simple replacement of that section. However, Lalo recommended a replacement of the whole segment of cast iron to ABS. He let me know that cracks are usually not isolated and that this would ensure we don't run into any other problems.

Though it was slightly more expensive than what others quoted, I'm so glad I listened to him! Lalo was able to come out the next day with a colleague and they ripped out about 20' of old cast iron pipe. The excavated pipe was corroded and completely cracked throughout; replacing the segment, on the other plumbers recommendation, would have only caused the problem to happen again. Also, Lalo went above and beyond to replace our old clean-out with a two-way one!

Overall, I'd highly recommend American Drain Works! They're my go-to contact now for my plumbing needs.

Lalo installed my extremely heavy new one piece toilet in no time at all and left my bathroom cleaner than when he arrived. Will definitely use again when this old house gives up on something else

I am so happy to discover this company! My garbage disposal stopped working - Connie sent Lalo right out, he installed a new disposal. There was some leaking a few days later; he came right back as soon as I contacted them and fixed the problem with no charge. Another time, I wasn't sure about a problem, and Connie walked me through on the phone how to fix it myself. They're honest, they respond quickly, and they're good people.

This review comes after several months of multiple plumbers and service workers who have attempted to diagnose the problem to no avail. 4 months later, I patiently scrolled 5 star plumbers, immediately located Ms. Connie with American Drain Works and Plumbing. I phoned the number listed in google. Ms. Connie extensively took her time to assess/troubleshoot the main concern. Ms. Connie was warm, supportive and very knowledgeable. I was quoted by other companies thousands of dollars which was so disappointing and scary. Ms. Connie referred her appliance specialist Mr. Larry who has successfully been in business for over 20 years in the Los Angeles and West LA area. Mr. Larry arrived on time with a very professional demeanor and incredibly knowledgeable. Mr. Larry diagnosed and completely solved my months long problem (not being able to use my kitchen for months due to scared of water damage. A few hundred bucks later, I have full access to my kitchen again. I will forever refer Ms. Connie and her team. Mr. Larry also may be able to repair my tripped dryer issues. Thank you again Ms. Connie.

twice this year our family home had plumbing issues and hot water heater issues and we were saved by Connie and American Drain Works. Excellent trouble shooting on the phone, excellent people they send to help, excellent follow up and true caring. Quick effective action and at a reasonable cost. Woke up this morning to the sound of water spraying under the house and called up Connie before they even opened. Immediately received a response from Michael who coordinated beautifully with me for a same day fix. From the initial panic call early today, to the repair by Lalo, whom we've had the pleasure to work with before, to the follow-up call just now, the process and repair have been seamless.

The crawl space under the house is super tight and Lalo crawled in there emerging every time with a bright attitude and thorough explanation. The plumber we hired to fix this years ago used a clamp, not a real fix, so it's nice knowing there are people like Lalo and Michael and Connie doing business the honest way.

Connie and Michael were wonderful! They responded to my Yelp inquiry in under 10 minutes, and when I spoke to Michael he asked great questions about my aunt's issue that I was calling about--she's 90 years old with dementia and was due to be discharged from a rehab center the next day and her shower and toilet at her Marina del Rey condo weren't working.

I had previously hired another (terrible) plumber who had been recommended by the condo's HOA, and he didn't communicate pricing or specifics, and ended up waaaay overcharging me to fix 3 sinks and didn't even address the master shower/toilet issue.

Michael was able to get a technician out within a few hours, and after the technician left, Connie and Michael called and explained the situation as well as their pricing, which--after having been taken advantage of by the previous plumber--was very much appreciated and quite a deal.

Highly recommend and I'm trying to get my aunt's condo HOA to hire them and fire the existing plumber! :)

I know nothing about plumbing so when I have a plumbing issue (which can be once/year), I call Connie from American Drainworks. She and her staff are super reliable, come to the rescue immediately, take the time to explain the issue, and give me a reasonable price. I absolutely adore their work ethic and highly recommend for all plumbing issues.
