My husband found this company on Yelp and we hired them due to the positive reviews we read about them. Brandon and Tim came out the next day and assessed the cause of our drainage problems. The whole crew was professional, worked hard and cleaned up each day after they were done for the day. We ended up having major repiping work, but we felt that Brandon and Tim were being honest with us, and they had videos to show us the causes of our problems and the work that needed to be done. Although we hope we will only need to call them out for maintenance work, if we run into any issues in the future, we would not hesitate to call them again.

So, we all know how hard it is to find honest contractors right? Sorry, I didn't come up with this all by myself, it's why YELP is so successful. Whenever you make a call to a random contractor for any service (plumbing, electrical, yard work, roofing, etc...) you just pray to whatever higher power you believe in that the people who show up are 1. Capable and 2. HONEST. Well, look no further with American Drain Company. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, they weren't totally random as a friend of mine had used them and recommended them but they are probably going to be for you. I had a couple of problems going on at once. First, I figured my garbage disposal was broken and we needed a new one. Second, my shower was leaking and water wasn't getting to my toilet and third (already sounding like a HUGE job right) my pool house wasn't getting water to IT either and there was a small leak underneath.

I called two other companies from here who will remain nameless (but have a *large* positive feedback) and they BOTH flaked on me. I was already just fed up with the job before it started. My friend recommended Brandon and even though it was short notice on a Friday afternoon, he came the next business day. As soon as I met Brandon and his business partner Tim I was immediately at ease. These are two of the nicest guys that I've met. My son left a bucket of water in the front yard that had amassed hundreds of mosquitoes and the first thing they said after shaking my hand was ""ya might want to take care of that lol"" and showed me exactly what to do. Next, they were on to the first job. Within 2 seconds Brandon told me that the garbage disposal was *stuck* not broken and there would be no need to charge me for a disposal that it was actually just a quick fix. Someone had got glass stuck in there and the safety mechanism had kicked on (who knew). It took a bit of effort and some small tools to get it all together but ultimately it was a much easier fix than replacing the whole thing. Thanks for being honest because really I had no clue either way.

Next was the upstairs bathroom issue, the guys did a thorough investigation going back and forth with each other about the least costly way of fixing the problem and returned with two solutions for us. The less expensive way and then offered to deduct that from the slightly more expensive way if for some reason that didn't work. Awesome! Last was the back house. This was my biggest concern because the water was completely not working and I thought there was an issue with the line. Nope. There was a valve that we weren't aware of that was shut off. Took 1 second and they had a reasonable fix for the leak. That was it. They charged me a VERY minimal amount for coming through last minute and checking out all of these issues and will return to fix up what wasn't done immediately. Now, you may think ""well you were the one that didn't know these were easy fixes"" and YES that's the point. They could have easily gotten over on me and charged crazy fees to ""fix"" it all and I would have been none the wiser. Yes, I would have gotten a second opinion but I didn't have to go through all of that. Plus, personality wise these guys were super cool. You'll definitely want to get a beer or three with them when the work is done. A+++ 6 STAR COMPANY!!

Our 1960s era home in Thousand Oaks was in need of a new sewer line to replace the 'orangeburg' pipe section from the middle of the front yard to the street. We also asked to add a clean-out at the front of the house.

Brandon and Tim went above and beyond the task, catching that there was additional corrosion to cast-iron pipes under the house. They were more than happy to meet me in the morning before work, run a camera through the pipe, and let me see for myself the additional damage. Their proposed fix (an epoxy sleeve) was very reasonably priced, as was all of their work.

I was extremely impressed with their ability to replace the landscaping in the front yard after significant excavation as well.

Brandon and his team were absolutely amazing! Responded within ten minutes to inquire about a major issue and were extremely flexible with setting up days and times to repair. Very communicative and were happy to send photos and updates of a job that took a few days to complete.

We had no idea we had a broken sewer pipe and with further inspection found out we also had a sinking sewer pipe!!! We had our sewer line installed 20 years ago. Brandon and Tim along with their team were just amazing in digging on both sides of our brick walkway. They removed our rose bushes and boxwood and planted them in buckets so they could be put back in place when plumbing was finished. The whole job took a few days and we were very happy with the results. You would never know our yard had 3 (8 x 4ft) holes as they put everything back just as they had found it. I would highly recommend this company!

Woke up to a backed up shower drain Saturday morning. Called Tim and he came out in less than 45 minutes from the time I called! Tim was extremely professional, very nice, works fast, and made sure to clean up everything before he left! I'd definitely recommend using these guys for any drain or plumbing needs. I know I'll be a customer for life after today!

These guys are awesome! Being in the industry I know how many low class plumbers that are out there... Tim and Brandon were the heroes of the heroes! Had a big project in Simi valley that I couldnt get done without some help, these guys came out in a white truck and made my company look good! They had all the right equipment and a cool monitor I was able to have my customer which was in Vegas seeing exactly what was on there screen (really cool app they have). They helped so much, jetted the lines in the house out for me even had the extra guys I needed to finish the very large dig we had going on. Very affordable and made us look more professional then we already do. I will recommend them to every plumber I know, if you need some big guns on the job these guys are it. Didnt try to steal my customers and acted like they worked with me the whole time. If your a fellow contractor American Drain Company comes highly recommended in my book, and they didnt cost me an arm and a leg. I would have given them 10 stars if I could and I am sure the way they treated there fellow contractor tells me all there residential/commercial customers have found there plumber for life!

Had a random stoppage on my kitchen drain and called a ""big name"" company payed 69$ but got pressured by a sales man after his arrival ,to replace everything under my home , not cool . I Called American drain co . And had a fella named Tim and his partner come buy pennies to the dollar to get this resolved .. thanks guys !!!!!
