Wow-If you need a professional plumber or HVAC technician, call or text Fred at American Ace Plumbing, Its very satisfying to come across someone like Fred when there are so many imposters out there in San Diego that are only interested in a quick and easy profit.

I was installing a gas line from the meter to the back yard and required the AC unit moved to allow new concrete to be poured. Within days of the call, Fred sent one of his techs out to disconnect and move the AC. A week later, Fred did a gas line to meter hookup and again, was prompt and professional.
When the AC was ready to be moved back into place, Fred responded quickly and professionally to hook up the AC and perform a full checkout and test.

Very satisfied with the services provided by American Ace and the prices are fair and reasonable. Will use Fred again for future jobs requiring his expertise

We received two other quotes for replacing a gas water heater, a Moen Flow shut off, a pressure control valve and some other shut off valves.
One of the other plumbers was going to charge us $89.00 just for an estimate. When I told then to forget it, I got a call a few minutes later saying they would wave that fee. Both of the other estimates took a few days to receive. Both of the other estimates were ""substantially"" higher than American Ace.
When I called American Ace I spoke to Fred. He told me a tech would be out the next day. A little while later the tech (Frank) asked if he could come that day. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick response. When Frank showed up he was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. I got a quote the next morning and I was once again pleasantly surprised at the quote. Once I told them I agreed to the quote they came with a crew the next day! In this day and age of poor service and high prices that is unheard of.
American Ace did all the work in a very professional manner. They were all courteous and I was kept informed of the progress. The crew finished the job quickly and they cleaned up all the trash and left the work area as it was before.
I am not easily impressed but I certainly was in dealing with American Ace plumbing. I will defiantly use them for any of my plumbing needs in the future, they are the best.

The reviews are true! I needed to have my tankless water heater serviced, and after getting a pricey quote from another plumber, I decided to try Yelp and found American Ace. Fred answered my call right away, and he was able to fit me in the next day (which was a Saturday) for a very reasonable price. He arrived on time and went right to work. Afterwards, he even helped me with a drain pipe that had been leaking at no extra charge. Moreover, I really appreciated the no hassle and no upsell that other plumbers often do. You won't be disappointed with American Ace!

Found American Ace Plumbing via Yelp. Contact Fred for a shower drain unblocking at 8am. He was able to come same day-- time window between 11am and 2pm. He texted when he was on his way and arrived just after 11. Clean truck, organized tools and supplies and wore shoe covers to protect the floors. I appreciate the little things.
Fred and a crew member got to work and snaked the drain. He had an industrial size powered auger that could go 60ft. He got a handful of hair and gunk from the shower drain. Fred tested it thoroughly and unfortunately there still seemed to be a block. He then proceeded to snake the bathroom sink and went pretty deep there too. He estimated about 40-45 feet. There were some nervous moments when the line seemed stuck but it came out eventually. He also collected a bunch of hair from the sink line. He explained that all the drain lines meet up and that's why he ran the shower, sink, and bathtub taps to see if they all drained properly and didn't back up the shower drain. Job done! Fred and his helper were professional and took the effort to lay down rags, buckets, and plastic sheets to keep surfaces protected and clean. Had to pay extra for the sink snaking but it was understandable. Fair pricing overall. They accept cash, check, and Zelle.

After my own attempts to remedy the situation, it was clearly a job for the pros. I'm glad I contacted Fred and American Ace Plumbing. Like most of the other reviews here, very happy with the service and would recommend them 100%.
